REMOTE BUTTONS:
Remote contains 48 keys. When you switch on the HDIchart Unit it takes
45seconds to display the chart. You will get LOGMAR chart at start up. You
will get 6 meter selection options from 1 to 6m. A USB slot is available at the
back of the HDIchart unit for accessing images and Videos.
The following document provides instructions for using the remote with
HDIchart Unit.
1. POWER:
You can turn on and turn o application using ON/OFF button.
2. LANGUAGE:
Language button is used to select type.
Use back button to change the language types and press the language button to see
the default selection.
3. LOGMAR:
Selects LOGMAR CHART.
Use UP/DOWN Keys for navigation.
4. SNELLEN:
Selects SNELLEN CHART.
Use UP/DOWN Keys for navigation.
5. SINGLE LETTER:
Selects SINGLE LETTER
Single Letter starts from 6/60 use UP/DOWN Keys for navigation.
6. ENGLISH:
Selects ENGLISH CHART for the above types.
7. HOTVX:
Selects HOTVX CHART for the above types.
8. KAY PICTURE:
Selects KAY PICTURE CHART for the above types
9. LEA SYMBOLS:
Selects LEA SYMBOL CHART for the above types
10. LEA NUMBERS:
Selects LEA NUMBERS CHART for the above types
11. LANDOLT-C:
Selects LANDOLT-C CHART for the above types

12. TUMBLING-E:
Selects TUMBLING-E CHART for the above types

16. CROSS CYLINDER:
Cross cylinder chart contais 4 charts.

17. CROWDING-BAR:
Selects CROWDING BAR for SINGLE LETTER (only LOGMAR)
18. DUO DOT:
Shows the duo dot first and pressing the duo button it will change to ring.
19. ASTIG FAN:
The cursor can be moved by pressing UP and DOWN arrow. The angle is shown at
the top corner
20. ASTIGBAR:
The rectangles can be rotated by pressing UP and DOWN arrow. The angle is shown
at the top corner
21. BACKCOLOR:
Selects black color for background and white for letters
22. RAILWAY TEST:
Railway chart contains 4 charts. Click the button repetadly to go to next chart
23. WORTH4DOT:
Worth4Dot chart contais 4 charts. Click the button repetadly to go to next chart.
24. SIGNAL TEST:
Signal chart contains 5 charts. Click the button repetadly to go to next chart.
25. DUO-COLOR:
Selects GREEN & RED background for normal chart.
26. CONTRAST:
Selects the contrast sensitivity chart which shows varying contrast use UP and Down but-
ton to achieve this you can also select English to Language for contrast sensitivity chart
27. POLARIZATION:
Polarization chart contains 6 charts. Click the button repetadly to go to next chart
28. EDTRS:
Shows EDTRS Chart.
29. ISHIHARA:
Shows images in the form of grid. Use Select image icon and use LEFT/RIGHT button
to navigation.
30.FIXATION TARGET:
Contains set of images. Use LEFT and RIGHT button to navigate.
31. FIXATION DISPARITY:
FIXATION DISPARITY chart contains 3 charts. Click the button repetadly to go to next chart
32. AMSLER GRID:
Amsler chart contains 3 charts. Click the button repetadly to go to next chart
33. NUMBER PLATE:
Number plate chart contains 6 charts. Click the button repetadly to go to next chart.
34. MADDOX ROD:
Selects the maddox rod chart which shows two black bars which can be moved away
and closer using UP and DOWN.
35. MADDOX HORIZONTAL:
Selects the maddox horizontal chart which shows two colored bars which can be
moved away and closer using UP and DOWN .
36. MADDOX VERTICAL:
Selects the maddox Vertical chart which shows two colored bars which can be moved
away and closer using UP and DOWN
37. RANDOM:
You can click random to change letters at any given time for the given chart

MENU BUTTONS
43. MENU:
Menu button open the interface for selectig meter and language , use up and down
arrow to change value and use left, right to navigate to next option. We have image,
video and usb interface embedded to menu option select the option by clicking select
button opens dierent interfaces use menu button to close interface and click menu
to get back to menu option.
OK and CANCEL buttons are present which helps to save or discard changes in menu.
MULTIMEDIA FEATURES
44. IMAGE:
Click image button to open image grid. Use navigation buttons to move inside the
grid. Use enter button to display the selected image. Use left and right to move to next
picture or previous picture. Use back button to close the current picture. Use agin back
to get back from image grid.
45. VIDEO:
Click video button to open video grid. Use navigation buttons to move inside the grid.
Use enter button to open video. A dialog box opens select enter to play the video.
Use language to get back to chart from video grid. Use ok/enter button to pause/
play video.
46. ANIMATION:
Click animation button to open the grid. Use navigation buttons to move inside the
grid. Use enter button to open annimation. A dialog box opens select play to play the
video. Use back button to close the current aimation. Use agian back button to chart
from image grid.
47. USB:
Click USB button to open USB grid which contains images and video on USB device.
Navigate using navigation buttons and select image or video using select button. On
enter button click image opens. Use back button to get back to USB grid. Navigation
is not provided for images(next and previous). Select video to play video on USB. Use
again back button to get back to charts.
48. BACK:
Click Back button to get back from image,animation and usb.
