the perfect companion for upgrading the HDD in notebooks,

from the old hard drive to a new hard drive in 3 easy steps. Once the

portable Hi-Speed USB 2.0 external backup and/or storage solution.

EZ Upgrade 1.8T is all you will need to easily transfer everything - data, applica-
tions, documents, address books, email, settings, OS, and preferences - from the
old hard drive to a new drive, in 3 easy steps.
First step, connect the hardware by sliding the new hard drive into the EZ Upgrade
1.8T enclosure and connecting to the device's (notebook, handheld computer, MP3
player,PDAetc.) USB port. Steptwo,runEZGigII’scloningutilitybybootingtotheCD.
Step three, install the new hard drive into the device. That’s it -you’re nished!
Once the new drive is installed, the old drive can be used in EZ Upgrade 1.8T's Hi-Speed
USB 2.0 enclosure as external. When used with EZ Gig II, the external drive becomes a
state-of-the-art backup solution.
The EZ Gig II Data Transfer Utility offers two different options: Disk Clone and Disk Image.
TheDiskCloneoptioncreatesanexactcloneofaharddriveandisperfectforupgradinghard
drives, or for a creating a Disaster Recovery Clone - The Ultimate Backup Solution.
The Disk Image option is an ideal backup tool. Disk Image creates a compressed “image” of
anentire harddrive, oranindividualpartition ofa harddrive. Disk Image can compress dataup
to 1/2 its original size, allowing backups to be made to a smaller hard drive, or multiple backups
of a larger hard drive.
Image EZ provides password protection for backup images, and a comments eld so each image
can be labeled and easily identied. Image EZ also allows restoration of individual les or folders.
