Aqua ExclusiveTM
GREEN LINE OWNER’S MANUAL
Overview
1.1 What is the Green Line UV-C?
1.2 How does the Green Line UV-C work?
The Aqua Exclusive Green Line UV-C system is a very eceint and compact UV-C system. This
system has four 110mm (4 inch) inlets and six 110mm (4 inch) outlets. Up to 4 lamps can be
connected. These lamps have a power of 50 watts each, which equates to a total of 200 watts.
The polished stainless steel 316L interior of the housing reect the UV light and makes the UV
light 35% more eective.
The main function of this system is killing algea and other unwanted microorganismes. When
the water containing these organisms passes through the UV-C light, the light damages the
DNA and RNA of the organisms, preventing them from reproducing and ultimately killing
them. This helps to reduce the overall population of harmful microorganisms in the pond,
which leads to clearer and cleaner water.
However, it is important to note that UV-C light is not a complete solution for maintaining a
healthy ecosystem. While it can help control harmful microorganisms, it does not remove
physical debris from the water, such as leaves or sh waste. A proper ltration system should
be in place to remove these particles and keep the water clean.
1.4 What is included
• Aqua Exclusive™ Green Line UV-C
• UV-C system box
• 24 months manufacturer’s warranty
• Lifetime customer support
The lter is delivered ready to use in a box. You don’t have to assemble the lter, what makes
it easy to install.

2. Safety information
This system may cause bodily harm or damage to property if you do not use it properly and
in accordance with all safety guidelines, or if you attempt to use it for any purpose other than
that for which it was designed. This system must never be operated by children or anyone
under the age of 16, or by anyone who has a physical, mental or sensory impairment or lack
of experience and knowledge, unless they are under supervision and have been instructed
on the safe usage of the system and are informed of the dangers associated with it. Children
must be made aware that this system is not a toy. Cleaning and maintenance must be per-
formed by an adult. This must never be performed by a child, even if they are under supervi-
sion.
• Before commissioning, check the entire device, mains lead and plug for damage. If dam-
age is found, the device may not be used. Contact our support team about the damage.
• When opening the lid/maintenance cover, the power to the device/control box must al-
w7ays be switched o.
• We advice to install the lter in a dry, sheltered place. Not in direct sunlight. The lter can
be placed outside, but this shortens the lifespan of the lter.
• The device is suitable water temperatures between +4 to +35 °C.
• Outside this temperature range, the lter material may loses its strength and can break.
• The device may only be switched on when there is sucient water ow.
• For your own safety, always consult a professional electricianin case of any problems.
If you have any questions or concerns about your lter, you can email support@aqua-exclu-
sive.com or open the live chat at www.aqua-exclusive.com. Our support team is 24/7 avail-
able to help you.

- And more...
3. Suitable for many applications

Installation 9
Aqua ExclusiveTM
Installation
In this manual we show you how to install the Green Line UV-C System 30 on a pond, but the
lter is suitable for almost all freshwater applications. If you plan to install this system in a
way that deviates signicantly from the recommendations in this user manual, allow for a
specialist to inspect the installation to ensure that all technical specications have been met.
The lter must always be placed in a level position. The bottom of the lter must be com-
pletely supported. When positioning the lter, ensure that there is adequate space on all
sides so that you have room to perform maintenance.
Always use high-quality pipes with an adequate wall thickness. Lay the pipes at a downward
angle so that they can be fully emptied during the winter to protect them against frost.

6. Pump Fed setup
In a pump fed setup, a pump moves the water from the pond the lter. The water ows
through the lter and must be able to ow freely back into the pond. These lters are there-
fore always placed above water level, otherwise the lter will overow.
Figure 4: Pump fed setup overview
6.1 Advantage pump fed setup
6.2 Example pump fed setup
The advantage of a pump fed setup is that the lter is quick and easy to install. The disadvan-
tage is that you use more power than with a gravity setup.
5. Pump Fed or Gravity setup?
Before you start with the installation you need to know how you want to install your lter.
The Green Line UV-C System 30 can be used for both, gravity and pump fed setup.

Installation 11
Aqua ExclusiveTM
Installation
A gravity fed lter works in the opposite way to a pump fed lter system, with the pump
drawing water away from the lter either via a suction hose, or been situated in the lter’s
nal chamber. Because gravity will always keep the water levels equal, when the pump pulls
water from the lter, pond water is replaced in the lter via the bottom drain. Gravity fed
systems are generally more ecient when compared to pump fed systems; bottom drains
require very little maintenance and are able to remove all pond waste, whereas pump cages
can become blocked over time. The pump in this system is pumping clean, ltered water and
therefore does not need as much maintenance. There are no cables or hoses coming from
the pond which can look unsightly and may trap debris in the pond. Water entering the lter
is not as turbulent as in a pump fed system.
7. Gravity setup
Figure 5: Gravity setup overview
7.1 Advantage gravity setup
7.2 Example gravity setup
The big advantage of a gravity setup compared to a pump fed setup is that you need less
power to run the same amount of water through the lter. The disadvantage is that it takes
more time to install everything.

8. Water level
It is important to maintain the correct water level for an optimal operation of the lter sys-
tem. A lower water level will not make the system work properly and higher water levels can
cause leaks.
8.1 Water level gravity setup:
- Min. water level: 320mm from the bottom (20mm below the max. level line)
- Max. water level: 340mm from the bottom (max. level line)
8.2 Water level pump fed setup:
- Min. water level: 320mm from the bottom (20mm below the max. level line)
- Max. water level: 340mm from the bottom (max. level line)

It is recommended to use exible rubber couplings when connecting the water lines. These
can compensate for small dierences in dimensions and also absorb vibration. This allows
you to connect the pvc pipes and various lter parts and makes the installation easy.

10. Slide Valve
For a gravity setup we advice to install slide valves or ball valves in front of and behind the
lter, so that the lter can be emptied or removed when necessary.

We advice to check your lter system at least once a month, to make sure everything is work-
ing properly.
ATTENTION: the radiation of UV is harmful! When opening the lid/maintenance cover, the
power to the UV box must be OFF.
We recommend replacing the UV lamps every year, the quality of the UV radiation decreases
after a year.
