Automatic Dosing System
Water Treatments only.
Carefully remove the dosing
system from the packaging
1. Attach the transformer to
the dosing system power
cord using the quick
connect fitting attached
to the dosing pump main
power cord. (Please
note that the transformer
should be plugged into a
GFCI rated receptacle),
the transformer included is
12V. The unit can also be
powered by an existing 12V
transformer used for 12V
lighting.
2. Open the dosing system
container by pressing
the four blue tabs
simultaneously on the
top portion of the dosing
system, gently lifting at the
same time.
3. Attach the water treatment
by removing the existing
cap included with the
water treatment, inserting
the proprietary pump tube
from the dosing pump into
the water treatment and
then seal the bag with the
included threaded adapter.
4. Place the attached
treatment inside the dosing
system canister.
5. Attach the included discharge tubing to the fitting on the
side of the dosing system control panel. Simply insert
the hose into the fitting until it stops. Ensure that the
check valve is in the right orientation with arrow pointing
away from the dosing system. The discharge tubing can
be installed two ways, either directly into the pond or
fountain or by using included output hose holder. The
hose holder can be easily attached to plumbing or other
round surfaces. Refer to the installation diagrams on the
following page for more information.

6. To purge the system and get it ready for proper operation
press and hold the X2 button-down until the water
treatment starts dripping out into the pond or fountain. This
may take several minutes depending on the distance from
the dosing pump to the pond or fountain. Make sure to
install the dosing system as close to the water feature
as possible to avoid the water treatments having to travel
through long lengths of tubing.
7. Be sure to inspect your dosing system often to insure
proper function and to verify your water treatment is not
empty, use the chart found on page 7 of this instruction
manual to approximate the replacement frequency of your
selected water treatment.

7. Select the appropriate amount of gallons to be maintained
by pressing the plus or minus button to the appropriate
number. If you are treating a fountain we recommend
using 500 gallons for any water feature, increasing it
if the fountain or Pondless®Waterfall contains more water.
To Calculate Pond Size in US Gallons:
Length (in feet) x Width (in feet) x Average Depth (in feet) x 7.48.
TIP: For new or problem ponds or fountains we
recommend using the X2 button for the first two weeks
of operation.
