Getting to know Bluetooth
Bluetooth wireless is a quick and easy way to connect a smartphone to a speaker or a
headset. There are basically two steps to making Bluetooth work.
PAIRING:
“Hi. I’m a phone.”
The two devices get to know
each other.
The two devices do something
together (like play music).
This guide takes you through the
steps to get started.
CONNECTING:
“Hi. I’m a
speaker.”

package:

Charge the speaker

Before you start using the speaker for the first time,
it’s a good idea to charge it completely.
To charge the speaker: Open the rubber door
covering the jacks on the back of the speaker. Plug
the included USB cable into the DC IN jack behind
this door.
Plug the other end of the USB charging cable into
a power source, like a computer or a USB charging
adapter.
The DC IN charging indicator is red while the
speaker is charging. It turns o when the speaker is
fully charged.
Note: You can use the speaker while it’s charging.

Press and hold the button on back of the speaker
to turn it on.
The SPEAKER POWER/PAIR indicator light blinks
blue, slowly at first, then more rapidly. This means
the speaker is ready to pair with your phone or
other Bluetooth device.

Enable Bluetooth on your smartphone or other
device.
Make sure the SPEAKER POWER/PAIR indicator
is blinking rapidly. (If it isn’t, give a quick double
press to the button. The speaker gives an audio
signal.)
Choose AR BLISS SPEAKER from the pairing
options on your smartphone. (If it’s not in the list,
choose “Scan” from your phone’s Bluetooth menu.)

Note: If you’ve previously paired a dierent Bluetooth device with this speaker, the speaker
will automatically attempt to reconnect to that device when you switch the speaker on. If
you want to pair to a new device, double-press the button on the speaker—the speaker
gives an audio signal.

The speaker gives an audio signal when it’s finished
pairing and connecting to your smartphone. The
SPEAKER POWER/PAIR indicator turns solid blue.
Note: The process of enabling Bluetooth and connecting
varies from device to device. See your device’s owners
manual for more information and specific instructions.
Bluetooth Wireless Connection Tips
• Make sure the Bluetooth capability of your device is turned on.
• Make sure there’s nothing plugged into the speaker’s Aux In jack when you’re trying to
use Bluetooth.
• The Bluetooth wireless connection works up to a range of roughly 33 feet (10 meters).
This range may vary, however, based on other factors, such as room layout, wall
material, obstacles, your device’s Bluetooth performance, etc. If you’re having problems
connecting to the speaker, move closer to it.
• If your device asks you for a password to connect, use “0000”.

Start playing music on your
device

Set your device’s volume for music to 50%.
Note: This is to make sure the sound from the
speaker isn’t too loud when you start streaming.
Start playing music or other audio on your device.
Within seconds, the speaker starts streaming the
audio wirelessly via Bluetooth.
To adjust the volume of your audio: Use the
volume controls on your phone.

Using the AUX input
Use a mini-jack audio cable (not included) to connect
the audio output from your device to the AUX IN audio
input on the speaker’s back panel (open the rubber door
to access the jack). The speaker automatically switches
to the AUX IN audio. The SPEAKER POWER/PAIR
indicator turns white.
To listen to Bluetooth audio again, unplug the cable from
the speaker’s AUX IN jack.

Using the LED Candle
The Bliss Wireless Speaker has a built-in soft-light LED
candle you can use with or without the speaker playing.
To turn the LED Candle on or o: Press the CANDLE
LIGHT button on the back of the speaker.

Tour of the Bliss wireless speaker
CANDLE LIGHT button turns the Bliss wireless
speaker’s LED light on and o.
AUX IN jack lets you connect directly to the
speaker to listen to an audio source.
DC IN jack connects to the USB charging cable
provided to power or charge the speaker.

device (single press).
SPEAKER POWER/PAIR indicator shows the connection status of the speaker:
• fast blinking blue means the speaker is trying to pair with a device
• slow blinking blue means the speaker is trying to reconnect to a paired device
• solid blue means the speaker is paired with a device and ready to play audio
• solid white means there is something connected to the speaker’s AUX IN jack

Familiarisation avec Bluetooth
La liaison sans fil Bluetooth est une solution rapide et facile pour connecter un
téléphone intelligent à un haut-parleur ou à un casque d’écoute. Il y a deux étapes
fondamentales pour faire fonctionner Bluetooth.

Assurez-vous que les articles suivants sont inclus

Charger le haut-parleur

Avant de commencer à utiliser le haut-parleur
pour la première fois, il est conseillé de le charger
complètement.
Pour charger le haut-parleur : Soulevez le cache
en caoutchouc qui recouvre les prises situées
à l’arrière du haut-parleur. Branchez le câble de
chargement USB inclus dans la prise DC IN que ce
cache recouvre.
Branchez l’autre extrémité du câble de chargement
USB dans une source d’alimentation, par exemple
un ordinateur ou un adaptateur chargeur USB.
Le voyant de charge DC IN est rouge pendant la
charge du haut-parleur. Il s’éteint lorsque le haut-
parleur est complètement chargé.
Remarque : Il est possible d’utiliser le haut-parleur
pendant qu’il se charge.

Appuyez et maintenez enfoncé le bouton situé à
l’arrière du haut-parleur pour l’allumer.
Le voyant SPEAKER POWER/PAIR clignote bleu;
lentement au début, puis plus rapidement. Cela
signifie que le haut parleur est maintenant prêt
à être apparié avec votre téléphone ou un autre
appareil Bluetooth.

Remarque : Si un autre appareil Bluetooth a été apparié antérieurement au haut-parleur,
celui-ci, lorsqu’il est allumé, essaie automatiquement de se reconnecter à cet appareil. Si
vous désirez apparier un nouvel appareil, appuyez deux fois sur le bouton sur le haut-
parleur; le haut-parleur émet un signal sonore.

Sélectionnez AR BLISS SPEAKER dans les options
d’appariement du téléphone intelligent. (S’il ne figure pas
sur la liste, choisir « Balayer/Scan » dans le menu Bluetooth
du téléphone).
Le haut-parleur émet un signal sonore lorsque l’appariement
et la connexion à votre téléphone intelligent sont terminés.
Le voyant SPEAKER POWER/PAIR devient bleu fixe.
Remarque : Le processus d’activation Bluetooth et de
connexion varie d’un appareil à l’autre. Reportez-vous
au manuel du propriétaire de l’appareil pour obtenir
des informations supplémentaires et des instructions
spécifiques.
Conseils pour la connexion sans fil Bluetooth
• Vérifiez que la fonction Bluetooth de l’appareil est activée.
• Vérifiez que rien n’est branché dans la prise Aux In du haut-parleur lorsque vous
essayez d’utiliser Bluetooth.
• La connexion sans fil Bluetooth dispose d’une portée d’environ 10 m (33 pi). Cependant,
cette portée peut varier en fonction d’autres facteurs, tels que l’agencement de la pièce,
le matériau des murs, les obstacles, la performance Bluetooth de l’appareil, etc. En cas
de problème de connexion avec le haut-parleur, rapprochez-vous du haut-parleur.
• Si l’appareil demande un mot de passe pour se connecter, utiliser « 0000 ».

Démarrer la lecture de musique
sur l’appareil

Baissez le volume sonore de l’appareil à 50% pour
écouter de la musique.
Remarque : Cela permet de s’assurer que le son
émis par le haut-parleur n’est pas trop fort lorsque
démarre la diusion en flux.
Démarrez l’écoute de musique ou de toute autre
source audio sur l’appareil. En quelques secondes,
le haut-parleur diuse l’audio en flux sans fil via
Bluetooth.
Réglage du volume audio : Utilisez les commandes
du volume du téléphone.

Utilisation de l’entrée
auxiliaire AUX
Utilisez le câble audio mini-jack (non inclus) pour
connecter la sortie audio de votre appareil à l’entrée
audio AUX IN située sur le panneau arrière du haut-
parleur (soulevez le cache en caoutchouc pour accéder à
la prise). Le haut-parleur passe automatiquement à audio
AUX IN. Le voyant SPEAKER POWER/PAIR devient
blanc.
Pour écouter de nouveau l’audio via Bluetooth,
débranchez le câble de la prise AUX IN du haut-parleur.
Utilisation de la Bougie
DEL
Le haut-parleur sans fil Bliss dispose d’une bougie DEL à
faible lueur intégrée que vous pouvez utiliser que le haut-
parleur soit allumé ou éteint.
Pour allumer/éteindre la bougie DEL : Appuyez sur le
bouton CANDLE LIGHT situé à l’arrière du haut-parleur.

Présentation du haut-parleur sans fil Bliss
Le bouton CANDLE LIGHT allume et éteint
l’éclairage DEL du haut-parleur sans fil Bliss.
La prise AUX IN permet la connexion directe au
haut-parleur pour écouter une source audio.
La prise DC IN connecte le câble de charge USB
fourni pour allumer ou charger le haut-parleur.

Le bouton allume le haut-parleur et l’éteint (appuyez en le maintenant enfoncé),
initialise l’appariement avec un appareil Bluetooth (appuyez deux fois), ou initialise la
reconnexion à un appareil apparié précédemment (appuyez une fois).
Le voyant SPEAKER POWER/PAIR indique l’état de connexion du haut-parleur :
• clignotement rapide bleu indique que le haut-parleur eectue un essai d’appariement
avec un appareil
• clignotement lent bleu indique que le haut-parleur tente de se reconnecter à un
appareil apparié
• bleu fixe indique que le haut-parleur est apparié avec un appareil et prêt pour la lecture
audio
• blanc fixe indique que quelque chose est connecté à la prise AUX IN du haut-parleur

Cargue el altavoz

Antes de utilizar el altavoz por primera vez, se
recomienda cargarlo completamente.
Para cargar el altavoz: Abra la puerta de caucho
que cubre los conectores en la parte posterior del
altavoz. Acople el cable USB incluido en el conector
DC IN detrás de esta puerta.
Conecte el otro extremo del cable de carga
USB en la fuente de alimentación, tal como una
computadora o un adaptador de carga USB.
El indicador de carga DC IN se enciende de color
rojo mientras se carga el altavoz. Se apagará
cuando el altavoz esté completamente cargado.
