Carriageable LED inground
This instruction manual contains important
information a out the installation and use of the
projector. Please read and follow these
instructions carefully.
The security of this device is guaranteed only
with the proper use of the following instructions,
therefore they must e kept carefully.
Disconnect the unit from the power supply efore
attempting any operation in contact or inside the
unit, and when not in use.
Due to the high technological level of this unit,
any service maintenance should e performed y
specialised operators. Please contact your Arena
Luci dealer for any operation.
Do not attempt to dismantle and modify the
device.
To avoid infiltrations inside the inground ox do
not open or install this luminaire during rainy days
or in high humidity conditions.
Not allowed to e used underwater.
Ensure a good drainage underneath the inground
ox when installed on the floor.
Allowed to e mounted directly on inflamma le
surfaces.
Always ensure that the structure to which you are
attaching the unit is secure and is a le to support
the weight of each unit.
The installation of LED modules (including power
supplies) should e done according to current
technical rules and regulations.
This luminaire is an outdoor device with IP67
rating, ut not IP68 (thus not suita le for
underwater applications). Therefore the proper
and extended functioning will e related to the
proper installation.
The installation should e performed only y a
qualified operator.
Prior to connect the unit to the mains supply,
check the output voltage fits the technical
requirements on the la el.

Recessed carriageable LED luminaire with squa-
red satin front glass and two colour temperatures
available. deal for both indoor and outdoor
installations, thanks to the die cast aluminium bo-
dy and the stainless steel A S 31 6 head (pro-
tection rating P67). Suitable for pitch marks in
paths, gardens, stairs. The luminaire can be
installed either upside down or side wall or on the
floor (carriageable). t is possible the installation
on flammable surfaces. The installation can be re-
cessed in either floors, ceilings and walls by using
the included dedicated recessed box, see the di-
mensions drawing of the box. Connection by wi-
res, the unit accepts only 24V DC power supply,
recommended power supplies: switching.
TRANSPORTAND SHIPPING
Open the shipping carton and verify that all equip-
ment necessary to operate the system has arrived
intact.
Refer to the following packing list for information
on what items are included with your model. f any
equipment is missing or damaged, contact your
Arena Luci dealer immediately.

Before beginning initial setup of your LED
inground, make sure that there is no evident da-
mage caused by transportation. n the event that
the unit’s housing is damaged, do not plug it in
and do not attempt to use it until after contacting
your Arena Luci dealer for assistance.
INSTALLING THE DEVICE
The installation can be performed via the included
dedicated recessed box.
A - the connection between the supply cable of the
luminaire and the main DC line should be
performed inside the recessed box using an P68
rated power connection.
B - the shunt from the main DC line should be
performed using an P68 rated cast resin joint.
C - the inground box must be placed on a layer of

draining pebbles with a minimum thickness of
30cm in order to make easier the flow of rain
water and avoid the lift of moisture inside the box.
D - the bottom layer of the installation should be
made with a material with proper draining capabi-
lity.
POWER SUPPLY
When choosing the proper power supply unit you
have to consider the total power consumption of
all the devices connected in the same supplied
group; once this value is known, it will be possible
to choose among the vast range of power supply
units offered by Arena Luci.
t is recommended to leave a margin of at least
the 25% less than the driving capability of the
supply unit.
Connect the power supply to the mains outlet,
paying attention to right polarity L-N-E labelled on
the wiring terminals (colours: brown = L, blue = N,
green/yellow = E). Check the output voltage is
compatible with the specifications of the lighting
device.
Connect the outputs of the power supply labelled
with "+V" and "-V" to the supply cable of the lumi-
naire, paying attention not to reverse the two
terminals: a wrong polarity may seriously damage
the device. n the case of multiple connections of
LED luminaires, it is recommended to use cables
with at least 2.5mm2 cross section or larger,
according to the voltage drop calculations.

WARRANTYCONDITIONS
The unit is guaranteed for 24 months from the
date of purchase against defects in workmanship
or materials that compose it.
This warranty does faults due to incorrect or
improper use of the device.
The warranty is immediately void if the unit has
been tampered with or opened by unauthorized
personnel.
The warranty provides, at the discretion of Arena
Luci, repair or replacement of faulty equipment.
The serial number and model of the device are
required to obtain information or assistance from
the dealer. We invite you to transcribe them in
time: for any request of information or services,
this will result in a quick and effective operation.
CE RULES
The device meets the essential requirements of
the EMC Directive 89/336/EEC, 93/68/EEC,
BT73/23/EEC.
The device complies with the standard EN 5041 9
on the restriction of use of hazardous substances
in electrical and electronic equipment (RoHS) and
meets the requirements of Directive 2002/96/EC
on Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment
(WEEE).
Warnings
Disposal of Old Electrical & Electronic Equipment
(applicable in the European Union and other
European countries with separate collection
systems).

household waste but must be handed over to
the applicable collection point for the
recycling of electrical and electronic
equipment. By ensuring this product is
