Aristel MultiPhone SLT70S Operating instructions

zCall-back / Add-On dialing
While LCD displays incoming, outgoing messages, press
REDIAL Key to dial-back the displayed number.
Press REDIAL Key twice quickly to add the exchange
access code to the displayed number. (Telephone will add
the access code “0 or 9“ before dialing the number.)
zRecall / Flash
Off Hook, press TRF/FL Key and dial required extension
number to transfer the call.
zHold Call
While the conversation on external/internal call, press
HOLD/DEL Key and hang up the handset to hold the call
temporarily. When pick up the handset again, the held call
will be retrieved.
zRedialing
Off Hook or press SPK Key, press REDIAL Key to redial the
last number.
zPick Up call
When the incoming call rings, press SMART Key to answer
the call, if this SMART key was properly programmed.
Default: * + 1. (as Pick up for Aristel Key Phone Systems)
zHandsfree Dialing for SLT70S
zHandsfree Conversation for SLT70T
On hook, press SPK Key to handsfree Dialing or
handsfree conversation. Press SPK Key again to hang
up.
On hook, press 0or9for handsfree dialing or access the
CO line to dial out.
zHeadset application.
While incoming call ringing, enable headset of SLT70T
and press SPK Key to pick up calling; press SPK Key
again to hang up the call.
On hook, enable headset of SLT70T, press SPK Key to
enable handsfree conversation while hearing dial tone.
zDefine the Pick Up code
On hook, press PROG+ SMART key, LCD displays “PICUP”
and then enter the programming code. Press PROG to save
or SPK to exit.

Telephone Quick Programming Mode
For individual item setting, you can use Quick Programming
Mode to directly enter the setting of corresponding item.
Press PROG, LCD displays “Set”, enter the corresponding
Quick mode code as below
PROG+1 ··················································Time
PROG+2 ···············LCD brightness adjustment
PROG+3 ································ Local area code
PROG+4 ·········································· Reserved
PROG+5 ······························ Recall/Flash time
PROG+6 ·············· Exchange line Access code
PROG+7 ····················Headset Enable/Disable
PROG+8 ·····························Pulse/Tone dialing
PROG+SMART ··························SMART code
PROG+# 0+PROG when used with a switching
System, if “0” is the auto line select code.
PROG+# 9+PROG when used with a switching
System, if “9” is the auto line select code.
PROG+# *+PROG when used with a direct
Exchange line. (Default)
After entering the setting menu of any items and using quick
programming mode, you can also enter other items by pressing
PROG repeatedly.

or ▲Key to adjust or enter value. Press PROG to save
setting and move to next item

zVolume adjustment
Speaker volume adjustment
Press SPK Key to use handsfree, Press ▼or ▲Key to
adjust Speaker volume to the desired level.
(There are 4 different volume levels. Default: 1)
Handset volume adjustment
Pick up handset, Press ▼or ▲Key to adjust handset
volume to the desired level.
(There are 4 different volume levels. Default: 1)
Ring tone volume adjustment
While the phone was rung, press ▼or ▲Key to adjust
Ring tone volume to the desired level.
(There are 4 different volume levels. Default: 2)
zDate and Time Setting
Enter Programming, the year digits blink……
Press ▼or ▲Key to adjust, Press PROG Key to save
setting and move to the next item. Press SPK Key to exit
programming or do not save setting.
The sequence of setting is year, month, day, hour and
minute.
zLCD Brightness Adjustment
LCD Displays “2 LCd-2”
Press ▼or ▲Key to adjust LCD brightness to the desired
level.
(There are 4 different brightness levels. Default: 3)
zLocal Area Code Setting
LCD Displays “3 LOCAL_ _ _ _ _”
Input the local area code, and the telephone will delete local
area code on LCD with every incoming call.
zRecall/Flash Key Time Setting
LCD displays “5 FLASH _ _ _ ”,
input 005-090, Unit: 10ms
Default:036*10ms =360ms
zAuto Exchange Line Access Code Setting
LCD displays “6 COdE1 _ _ _”, input the first group of
exchange access code, press ▼/ ▲to save and enter
the second group.
LCD displays “6 COdE2_ _ _”, input the second group of
exchange access code. Press REDIAL to enter a standing
for status of any number.
Once the code is set, the telephone will dial the access
code automatically and pause one second before dialing
out the telephone number when using the Auto call-back
and redial operation.
If the phone is connected directly to the exchange line,
CANCEL the exchange access code.
zHeadset Enable/Unable Setting
LCD displays “7 HEADSET _ _ _”, Enter the value: 11 to
activate the Headset function.
LCD displays “7 HEADSET _ _ _”, Enter the value: 00 to
disable the Headset function.
zTone Pulse Setting
LCD displays “8 PULSE-0”, Enter the value: 1-pulse, 0-tone
Default:0
zSmart Code Setting
On hook, press PROG + SMART key. LCD displays
“S_Art-”, Enter the access code number. This function will
enable the station to operate the defined function by press
“Smart” key.
Default: * + 1. (as “pick up” function at Aristel Key Phone
Systems)
Telephone Basic Function Operation
zDSS key M1~M20 Programming and calling out.
Programming: On hook, press PROG+M1~M20 Key and
enter telephone number and then press PROG key to
save or press SPK to exit.
Calling out: On hook, press any key of M1~M20
zIncoming Numbers Search
On hook, press ▲Key to activate incoming numbers search.
Press ▼or ▲again to search the numbers and its date and
time backwardly. Press REDIAL Key to dial this current
number.
Press HOLD/DEL Key to delete the current record, or hold
HOLD/DEL for three seconds to delete all incoming records.
zOutgoing Numbers Search
On hook, press ▼Key to activate outgoing numbers search.
Press ▼or ▲again to search the numbers and its date and
time backwardly. Press REDIAL Key to dial this current
number.
Press HOLD/DEL Key to delete the current record, or hold
HOLD/DEL for three seconds to delete all outgoing records.
