RoboWinder

Combining a vibration tuner and motorised string winder,
the RoboWinder tunes guitars, basses and other stringed
instruments with ease.
Over-tune & current protected. No need to worry about
breaking strings.
Tune your strings at 180rpm. This motor is powerful
enough for all kinds of machine heads.
A must-have for any touring guitar tech. Tune up quickly and
easily between guitar changes.
Use the auto string select mode, or manually choose your
string pitch. The large display will make it easy to tune,
even in the dark.
Designed to fit easily in your hand, it’s not much larger than a
regular string winder. Lightweight and portable to keep one in
your case at all times.
Long lasting rechargeable battery. Chargeable from any
phone charger or USB port.

SAFE USE INFORMATION

number at SEMI-A/CUSTOM mode
Please avoid noisy environments.
Loud noise may affect the
accuracy of the device.
Do not hold the peg connector
with hands.
Please avoid electromagnetic fields.
It may have an affect on the device.
If not you may risk breaking strings
• Do not operate whilst the the unit is charging.
• Do not allow the unit to become wet.
If the unit does become wet, do not operate.
• Do not expose the unit to high impact damage.
• Do not put the battery electrode in contact with conductive
subject such as metal or liquid.
• Do not operate if the unit is cracked or damaged.
Please contact the manufacturer.
• Do not charge in temperatures exceeding 45°C.
• Do not use this for other use.
• Be sure to keep the manual.

It tells relative pitch distance
between current vs. targeted note
Overload indicates exceeded current consumption due to the stiff
head machine heads. The system automatically stops in order to
protect the device.

1. Lo/Hi displays when the current note is too far from the targeted note.
2. Lo/Hi displays when overtone detected occasionally.
3. Lo/Hi displays when you pluck wrong strings at SEMI-A mode or CUSTOM.
4. Please check tuning condition when Lo/Hi constantly displays.

ROBOWINDER IS A VERSATILE TUNING
ACCESSORY WITH FUNCTIONS TO SUIT
GUITAR, BASS & UKULELE. THIS GUIDE
WILL EXPLAIN HOW TO USE THE
ROBOWINDER EFFECTIVELY.
AUTO MODE
SEMI-AUTO MODE
CUSTOM MODE
This mode is designed for everyday use and works best when the strings have
naturally detuned in-between playing/practicing.
This mode is ideal if the instrument strings are out of tune by large amounts e.g.
when replacing strings. Use this mode by telling the unit which string you want to
tune. Once selected, the RoboWinder will keep tuning until it reaches the
correct note.
This mode is designed for alternative guitar tunings. This mode allows players to
customise which note strings are tuned to.

Press the POWER button to select an instrument(Guitar, Ukulele, Chromatic).
Hold the MODE button to select the AUTO mode.
Place RoboWinder on the instruments machine head.
Pluck the string until RoboWinder shows needle aligned in the center on the
correct note. The unit will beep when the correct pitch is reached.

Press the POWER button to select an instrument(Guitar, Ukulele).
Hold the MODE button to select the SEMI-A mode.
Place S button to select the string you are tuning.
Place RoboWinder on the instruments machine head.
Pluck the string until RoboWinder shows needle aligned in the center on
the correct note. The unit will beep when the correct pitch is reached.
• Press S button for 2 seconds to switch to Low G string operation (Ukulele only).

Reset Button
Each LED indicates 25% of the battery power.
Battery power level is only indicated when
the USB port is plugged in.
In the unlikely event that the RoboWinder becomes
unresponsive, a hard reset is required.
Insert a pin into the reset hole and press the button.
1. When the battery is low, charge it through the micro-USB charging port.
2. When charging, the Green LED will blink.
3. When the charging LED indicator stops blinking, the battery is fully charged.
