OEC C480013 Troubleshooting Guide
Radio will not turn ON
•Try the reset button on radio.
•Check fuse on back of radio.
•Check 12V+ on battery wire to radio (YELLOW wire) on radio.
•Check 12V+ on accessory wire to radio (RED wire) on radio.
•Check Ground on the radio.
Radio turns ON, but no sound
•Verify Volume¸ Fader/Balance¸ Mute controls are set correctly (see owners
manual).
•Try RESET button.
•Verify proper speaker connections.
•Check for shorts or opens on speaker wires.
CD does not load fully
•Make sure unit has power and no other CD is currently inside.
•Inspect radio’s chassis to verify shipping screw(s) have been removed.
CD does not play correctly
•Check to make sure disc is inserted correctly.
•Verify disc is free from dirt, scratches, etc.
•Check with factory CDs.
•Check factory original CDs for compatibility warnings (due to various copy-
protection, multi-media content, etc).
•Disc skips during playback – verify you have not exceeded 30 degrees mounting
angle.
•Check installation of C480013. Verify solid secure mounting. Verify mounting
strap is secured to rear stud of radio for support.
No AM or FM reception

•Verify you are tuned to a valid station.
•Check your antenna connection on rear of stereo.
•Try a different antenna.
No TV antenna reception
• Verify solid antenna connections on both sides of cable jack on entertainment
center and also to aerial.
•Verify crimped cable plug connection, check for shorts or exposed wires.
•Verify TV is set up properly for Air/Cable reception.
No Power to 12 volt DC outlet
•Verify solid 12 volt connection to rear of adapter.
•Inspect for any debris inside adapter.
•Verify the circuit provides 12+VDC full time or what is needed to ensure
12+VDC is provided.
No Phone jack operation
• Verify solid connections at and from rear of entertainment center to phone source.
•Inspect for any debris inside adapter.
•Verify a Land Line Phone connection has been made to the coach.
No Power to 110 AC outlet
• Verify connection from rear of entertainment center to 110 AC source.
• Verify circuit is not tripped or fuse blown.
No audio from speaker jacks
• Verify both jacks are operable.
• Verify connection to radio source from speaker jacks.
• Try using a different speaker wire connector plug.
• Verify proper radio settings to speaker jacks.
• Verify the speakers are not blown.
o Connect a known good speaker to the jack to ensure it’s operation.
