Using the setup utility
Do either of the following to launch the setup utility:
• ClicktheASUS ROG Gaming Mouse GX860 shortcut on the Windows®
desktop.
• ClickStart > All Programs > ASUS > ASUS ROG Gaming Mouse GX860 >
ASUS ROG Gaming Mouse GX860.
• Right-clicktheicon from the Windows® taskbar, then select Launch
GX860 APP.
On Windows® 8, click ASUS ROG Gaming Mouse GX860 from the Start screen.
Customizing your mouse (DPI values / Macro
commands / Button functions)
Go to ASUS website at www.asus.com to download the latest driver and install it to
customize your mouse's DPI values, Macro commands, and button functions.

Connect your ASUS GX860 Gaming
Mouse to your computer’s USB port.

1. Click to connect to ASUS ocial website.
2. Click to connect to ASUS ROG ocial website.
3. Click to connect to ASUS Shop ocial website.
4. Click each tab to display the selected prole menu.
5. Click to run the Macro Management
*Refer to Page 16 for detailed instructions.
6. Click to run the Button setting.
7. Select an item to change the Button setting.
8. Click to reset the Button setting.
9. Click to choose the number of DPI resolution stages that you want to implement.
10. Tick / Untick to enable / disable the Independent X-Y instruction.
11. Click the tachometer to get rough DPI resolution or key in the DPI resolution you need
in the column.
12. Click to reset DPI resolution.
13. Click to export or import a prole to your computer.
14. Click to reset all settings to the factory defaults.
15. Click to go to Advanced Setting.
16. Click to apply all setting.
17. Click to apply and save and exit the program.
18. Click to run the Lighting Setting.
19. Select an item to change the Lighting Setting.

Fire
3 times When selected, press the button to do a rapid re in a click-
to-attack game, which is the same as clicking the left mouse
for 3 / 5 times.
* Rapid re times (3x/5x) may vary with dierent game
settings.

Auto
Keyboard Allows you to combine/record three keys to the maximum.
Button O Disables the button function.
Launch GX860 APP When selected, press the button to launch this setup utility.
Macro Macro List Allows you to select the Macro that you want to assign and
the Macro play mode.
* Refer to the table on the next page for the Macro play
mode.
Edit Macro When selected, press the button to edit Macro.
* Refer to page 16 for details of Macro Management.
Snap
Switch
Click once Switch the DPI to specic resolution through just one click,
and click once again to shift to the original DPI.
Click and hold Click and hold the button to switch the DPI to specic
resolution. Release the button to go back to the original one.
Customized Click the button to switch the DPI to specic resolution
during customized period. The DPI would shift to the original
one automatically once the time is expired.
* If you use GX860 on another computer, some of the button functions that you have previously
configured on your computer will be reset to the default settings. Please install the application and
configure the button functions again.

Macro Management
Items Descriptions
Timing Tick this item to record the time between pressing down and releasing a
button. (Default:12ms).
Insert When this item is ticked, the new instruction will be inserted before the
selected instruction. Otherwise, any new instruction will be given the rst
priority.
Start Click to start recording the keystrokes and/or mouse actions.
Stop Click to stop recording the keystrokes and/or mouse actions.
Clear Click to clear all the saved instructions.
Move up / down Click to move up/down the selected instruction.

When Timing is not ticked, all the actions’delay time will be the value you
chose from the dropdown list.
Loop Sets the macro to run at a click and stop when you click again.
From the Main menu screen,click the Macro tab to enter Macro Management setup
screen.

* Angle Snapping brings smooth and straight mouse movements.By default, Angle Snapping is
disabled.
** The tracking function stops when you lift the mouse off the mouse pad or surface higher than
your selected Lift Height. If you encounter irregular mouse movements when you are using your
mouse on your mouse pad or surface, try selecting a level higher than your selected Lift Height.

Click to duplicate the existing Macro Console.
Click to delete the Macro Console.
Export Click to save the current macro to your hard disk drive.
Import Click to load a macro from your hard disk drive.
OK Click to apply the changes.
Cancel Click to exit the Macro Management.
* When a Macro function is not assigned to a mouse button, the Macro function and its name are
stored in your computer. If you assign the Macro function to you mouse button and connect the
mouse to anther computer , the assigned Macro name changes automatically but does not affect
the original Macro function.
