Step 1: Activate and
Set Up AT&T EverThere
1. Insert the power cord into the charger.
Plug the large end of the power cord into
a standard wall outlet.
2. Place EverThere in the charger and follow
the voice prompts until directed to
connect to the Care Center.
3. Press the call button one time and hold
for 2 seconds.
4. The Care Center will guide you through
the step-by-step process that
customizes AT&T EverThere for you.
During this call you will need to provide:
• Responder names and phone numbers.
Responders are a family member,
neighbor or caregiver who would like to be
notified in the event of an emergency to
assist. Ideally, responders reside within 15
minutes of the user residence.
• Must notifies names and phone
numbers. This is a person designated by
the User who will be notified in an
emergency; however, they are not part of
the list of responders dispatched to help.
• Language preferences
• Medical conditions
• Allergies
• Terms and Conditions review and
acceptance

Step 2:
Charge AT&T EverThere
1. Leave AT&T EverThere in the charger for
4 hours.
2. When the call button light is solid green, it
is ready to bring you Care That’s There.

• Completed a call with the AT&T
EverThere Care Center team
• Charged the device in the Charger

Step 3:
Review the User Guide
The User Guide is a helpful resource that you’ll
want to keep handy for future reference. Along
with Important Safety Information, the User
Guide will help you understand everything that
AT&T EverThere can bring to your life—please
review it carefully.

By Activating AT&T EverThere, you are
agreeing to the terms and conditions and
confirming that you understand the important
safety Information found in the Customer
Agreement.
Using AT&T EverThere
To turn AT&T EverThere ON: Press and hold
the call button until you see the battery
indicator light around the button begin
flashing.
To turn AT&T EverThere OFF: Quickly press
the call button twice—hold the second press
for 7 seconds or until you hear an audio
message confirming that you want to power
the device down. Press the call button again
to shut AT&T EverThere off.
To place an emergency call:
1. Press and hold the call button.
2. Listen for the alert tone, followed by the
audio message: “Calling the Care Center
now. Please hold the device and position
the microphone near your mouth to
complete your call.”
3. The Care Center team will come on the
line. If necessary, they will notify
emergency services for you, as well as
notify any loved ones you have designated.

About AT&T EverThere
1. The cellular indicator light displays the
strength of your cellular signal.

A cellular signal may not be available in all areas.
2. The battery indicator light lets you know
how much battery life AT&T EverThere has.
While charging, the lights will cycle through.
When the battery indicator is a solid green,
charging is complete.

Battery is designed to hold a charge for 36 hours, but
may be reduced as a result of user activity, cellular
coverage, talk time, device-specific settings, and
device life.
3. The call button is used to initiate two-way
calling to the Care Center team, as well as
power the device on and off.
Wearing AT&T EverThere
AT&T EverThere can be worn on a belt using
the belt clip, or as a pendant around your neck
using the lanyard/clip.
Attaching Belt Clip or Lanyard Clip
1. Align the notched side of a clip with the
notched area on the back.
2. Press inward until the clip notches are
nested within the AT&T EverThere notches.
3. Firmly push the clip toward the top of the
device until you hear a click or you can no
longer see the notches on the clip.
