ATD Tools +\GUDXOLF %RG\ 5HSDLU Kits are GHVLJQHG to EH used for SXVKLQJ VSUHDGLQJ and SUHVVLQJ of vehicle ERG\
panels as well as various component parts and DVVHPEOLHV A YDULHW\ of attachments are included.
WARNING: when extension tubes and/or offset attachments are used, the rated capacity is always reduced
by 50 % for each tube or offset attachment connected. See 3DUWV Section on SDJH  & 8 for of
"offset" attachments.

1. Before XVLQJ this product, read the owner's manual
FRPSOHWHO\ and familiarize \RXUVHOI WKRURXJKO\ with
the product, its components and UHFRJQL]H the
hazards associated with its use.
 Inspect EHIRUH each use. Do not use if EHQW EURNHQ
OHDNLQJ or GDPDJHG components are noted.
 Check to ensure that all parts of \RXU kit are included
VHH illustration and parts OLVW
 &DUHIXOO\ remove the dust caps and SOXJV from hose
coupler and ram coupler.
5. Connect hose coupler to ram coupler, ensure that
. Locate and open release valve. Close release
valve clockwise and pump handle until ram is IXOO\
e[tended, then open release valve FRXQWHUFORFNZLVe
until ram has IXOO\ retracted.
 :LWK ram IXOO\ retracted and release valve open, place
pump in horizontal position. Locate and open oil ller
screw RQ reservoir ERG\, near the EDFN This will
release air trapped within the reservoir. 5HWLJKWHQ

8. If XVLQJ with air actuated units, an air source of at
least  CFM @ 90 psi is UHTXLUHG

OPERATION
Note: Inspect EHIRUH each use for evidence of uid
leaks, GDPDJHd K\GUDXOLc ILWWLQJV EHQW or EURNHn
DWWDFKPHQWVDQGPLVVLQJSDUWV
1. Locate and close release valve E\ tXUQLQJ it clockwise
 Operate E\ pumpinJ handle. This will send uid
from the pump reservoir into the KLJK pressure hose
DVVHPEO\DQGLQWRWKHUDPDVVHPEO\.
 Continue pumpinJ until ram reaches desired
position.
Note: 3XPS PD\ EH used in horizontal and vertical
To Release Pressure on work piece:
Slowly, carefully turn the release valve counter
clockwise until ram retracts to desired position. Never
turn release valve more than 1/2 of a full turn. The
ram return V\VWHP is VSULQJ loaded and the release
valve V\VWHP is metered, DOORZLQJ controlled retraction
of the ram.

KNOW YOUR SYSTEM
Your ram, KRVHV FRXSOLQJV and pump all must EH
rated for the same PD[LPXP RSHUDWLQJ pressure,
FRUUHFWO\ connected and FRPSDWLEOH with the K\GUDXOLc
uid used. An LPSURSHUO\ matched V\VWHP can cause
the V\VWHP to fail and SRVVLEO\ cause serious LQMXU\.
!WARNING
Hydraulic Hoses and Fluid Transmission Lines
Avoid short runs of VWUDLJKW line WXELQJ 6WUDLJKW
line runs do not provide for H[SDQVLRQ and
contraction due to pressure DQGRU temperature

5HGXFH stress in WXEH lines. /RQJ WXELQJ runs

RSHUDWLQJ the pump, all hose connections must
EH WLJKWHQHG with the proper tools. Do not

Should a K\GUDXOLF hose ever rupture, EXUVW or
need to EH disconnected, LPPHGLDWHO\ shut off
the pump and release all pressure. Never attempt
to JUDVS a OHDNLQJ hose with \RXU
hands. The force of HVFDSLQJ K\GUDXOLF can
\.
Do not VXEMHFW the hose to potential such
as sharp REMHFWV H[WUHPH heat or cold, or
KHDY\LPSDFW
Do not allow the hose to kink, twist, curl, crush,
cut or EHQG so WLJKWO\ that the within

must not come in contact with corrosive materials
such as EDWWHU\ acid, FUHRVRWHLPSUHJQDWHG
REMHFWV and wet paint. +RVH deterioration due to
corrosive material can result in personal LQMXU\.
Never paint a coupler or hose.
The user must EH a operator familiar
with the correct operation, maintenance, and use
of rams. Lack of NQRZOHGJH in DQ\ of these areas
can lead to personal LQMXU\.
Use RQO\ approved accessories and approved
'RQRWH[FHHGWKHUDWHGFDSDFLW\RIWKHUDP
Inspect each ram and coupler EHIRUH each use to
SUHYHQWXQVDIHFRQGLWLRQVIURPGHYHORSLQJ
Do not use rams if WKH\ are GDPDJHG altered or
in poor condition.
Do not use rams with EHQW or GDPDJHG coupler or
GDPDJHGWKUHDGV
Under certain conditions, the use of an H[WHQVLRQ
with a K\GUDXOLF ram PD\ not EH DGYLVDEOH and
could present a GDQJHURXV condition.

How to bleed air from system
1. Bleed air from UDP 3ODFH pump at a KLJKHU elevation than the hose and ram as shown in  EHORw. The
