If the device is supplied with 100 / 240 VAC, it is mandatory to connect it to the ground
with a good link to the ground, to protect against electric hazard or electrocuon.

Keep the test area as clean as possible.

ATEQ recommends that the operators who use the devices have training and a level
of qualicaon that correspond to the job to perform.

- Read the user manual before using the device.
- The baery charger is designed for industrial room applicaons and should be handled
with appropriate care.
- For maximum eciency, ambient temperature must not exceed 40°C (104°F). Do not
operate near water or excessive humidity (95% maximum). The system is not intended
for outdoor use.
- The baery charger uses convecon air cooling to regulate internal component tem-
perature. Air inlets are in the right and le side of the device. Outlets are in the back.
Allow 1 m clearance around the device for proper air circulaon.
- All electrical connecons to the device must be equipped with safety systems (fuses,
circuit breakers, etc.) adapted to the needs and in accordance with the applicable stan-
dards and rules.
- Power supply plug must be grounded.
- Disconnect the device from the mains before performing any maintenance work.
- Do not open a connected device.
- Avoid splashing water on the device.
ATEQ is at your disposal for any informaon concerning the use of the device under maxi-
mum safety condions.
We draw your aenon to the fact that ATEQ cannot be held responsible for any accident
related to a misuse of the measuring instrument, the workstaon or non-compliance of
the installaon with safety rules.
In addion, ATEQ declines any responsibility for the calibraon or the ng of its instru-
ments that is not done by ATEQ.

trical) of the device done without its wrien consent.

OPERATING INSTRUCTION

WARNING BEFORE USE: Operator must ensure the device is connected
to the ground, either through the input power socket or through hard wiring
to the grounding M6 stud.
- Plug the device input socket to the electric network.
Due to electrical parameter, the device can be connected to a standard
100-240V~ / 40A -20A wall receptacle
- Press the On/O switch to turn the unit on.
In case no acon is done aer 3 minutes, the standby screen will be displayed.

The main menu will switch to voltage measurement screen in case of use of External
voltage measurement cables. Aer 3 seconds of inacvity, the main screen will be redis-
played.


Switch on the BC 1500 device
Connect the baery to be charged to the BC 1500, using provided cable.
If the device is in wainng mode (displaying date and current me), touch the screen
to exit the wainng mode.

Select the preferred
language, which will be
used through displays and
reports

Set the date and me. The
underlined value can be
adjusted using the up and
down arrows. Press le or
right arrow key to move to
other values to set.

Adjust the delay for the
device to go into sleep
mode in case of prolonged
screen inacvity.

Enable/disable the buzzer
funcon.

Enable/disable the Wi,
or change Wi parame-
ters.
iIn the case the cables have been connected
to wrong baery terminal, the Reverse
Polarity Screen will be displayed.

In the case the cables have not been con-
nected to the baery, a screen requesng
the connecon of the cables will be dis-
played.

Charging stops automacally when the charging cycle is completed (me elapsed or
target voltage reached), or by manual stop of the operator.
User can :
- See charge details (see chap, charge details)
- Print out charge details
- Edit results details


Connect the baery to be charged to the BC 1500, using provided cable.
If the device is in waing mode (displaying date and current me), touch the screen to

to wrong baery terminal, the Reverse
Polarity Screen will be displayed.

exit the wainng mode..
Press the charge buon on Main Menu.
Select the hand buon to access chemicals screen.
iIn the case the cables have been connected
to wrong baery terminal, the Reverse
Polarity Screen will be displayed.

the baery, a screen requesng the con-
necon of the cables will be displayed.
