1) Make sure power cord is plugged into a
functioning 120V standard household
power outlet, or, try using a different
working outlet.
2) Maker sure the master switch is
turned ON.
3) Blue Power On icon should be lit when
shredder is in Auto.
Check that the shredder head is put onto
the bin properly.

When the shredder detects
over-capacity shredding, the motor
will immediately stop and start

• Press and hold the REV button to
release paper if needed.
• Pull the paper at a 45 degree angle
to remove jammed paper
(as much as possible).
• Turn off shredder.
• Apply shredder oil to the feed slot.
• Let oil soak in to paper and machine
for 30 minutes.
Note: Repeat 1 & 2 steps if needed
• Press the power button to Auto/On.
• Use thick paper stock or a greeting
card to push the jam through.
• Reduce the number of sheets being
fed (count pages to be sure not to
exceed the maximum sheet count)
• Re-feed the pape

fulled, or this may cause poor shredding
performance.

TROUBLESHOOTING
1) If Overheat icon is lit in Red, turn shredder
off and let it cool down for 60 minutes.
Turn shredder on, check icon light again,
and restart shredding only when icon light
is not Red.
2) If Overload icon is flashing Red light –
The motor will immediately stop and start
to auto-reverse for paper release. Press
the Reverse button to reverse mode if
needed and remove paper at a
45 degree angle.
1) Unplug the machine from the wall socket.
2) • Find the activation sensor in the center of
the feed slot.
• Use a cotton swab to gently wipe away
any dust or debris that has collected on the
sensor.
Warning: DO NOT USE CANNED AIR.

Q: Who should I contact if I need a product support or warranty question/issue?
Q: How to register my product?
There is no need to register your product. The product warranty requires that you keep your
proof-of-purchase (invoice, order confirmation) or receipt during the warranty period.
Q: What should I do to maintain my shredder?
Once a month, use shredder oil or a shredder sheet. Please see page 5. Proper maintenance helps to
prevent paper jams and prolong your shredder's life.
Q: Can my shredder handle paper clips and staples?
Yes it can. This machine can accept #1 or regular-sized paper clips. No jumbo paper clips or vinyl
coated (typically colored) paper clips. It can also accept standard size staples. It does not accept
heavy duty staples.

when you call.
Q: Can I use aerosol lubricants or cooking/vegetable oil to lubricate my shredder?
Never use spray/aerosol lubricant or cooking/vegetable oil to lubricate shredder. Both of these
options cause shredded particles to stick together and they will remain stuck in the shredder blades.
Please only use shredder oil or shredder sheets. See the Maintenance section in this manual on
page 5 for more information. Spray/aerosol products may also cause a fire hazard when sprayed
on or near the shredder.

Si se enciende el ícono de Sobrecarga
en Azul, cuando la trituradora detecta que
excede su capacidad, el motor se detiene
inmediatamente. Deslice el interruptor al
modo Reversa y retire el papel a un
ángulo de 45°.
• Coloque las tarjetas de crédito o pequeñas
cantidades de papel sobre la sección para
tarjetas de crédito de la ranura de
alimentación (posición central).
• Inténtelo nuevamente.
Desenchufe la máquina del toma de la
pared.
• Busque el sensor de activación en el
centro de la ranura de alimentación.
• Use un hisopo de algodón para quitar
suavemente el polvo o la basura que se
haya juntado en el sensor.
Si el icono de Sobrecalentamiento está
iluminado en rojo, apage la trituradora y
deje enfriar durante 60 minutos. Encienda
la trituradora, vuelva a verificar la luz del
icono y reinicie la trituración solo cuando la
luz del icono no esté iluminada.

No es necesario registrar su producto. La garantía del producto requiere que usted conserve su
comprobante de compra (factura, confirmación del pedido) o el recibo durante el período de la

Una vez por mes, use aceite para trituradora o una hoja lubricante para trituradora. Consulte la
página 5. El mantenimiento adecuado contribuye a prevenir los atascos de papel y a prolongar
la vida útil de su trituradora.
Sí. Esta máquina puede aceptar sujetapapeles núm. 1 o de tamaño regular. No acepta sujetapa-
peles de tamaño extragrande ni recubiertos en plástico vinílico (en general, de colores). También
puede aceptar grapas de tamaño regular. No acepta grapas para uso industrial.
Nunca use lubricante en espray/aerosol ni aceite de cocina/vegetal para lubricar la trituradora.
Estas opciones pueden hacer que las partículas trituradas se peguen y queden adosadas a las
cuchilla de la trituradora. Utilice únicamente aceite para trituradora u hojas lubricantes para
trituradora. Consulte la sección Mantenimiento de este manual en la página 5 para obtener más
información. Productos de pulverización / aerosol también pueden causar un riesgo de incendio
cuando se rocía sobre o cerca de la triturafora.
