8. CONFERENCE
♦ While one line is in use and the other is put on hold, pressing CONF will establish a 3
party conference between both lines and the user.
♦ During conference both L1 & L2 LED will be on.
♦ To switch to handset from handsfree mode, pick up the handset.
♦ To switch to handsfree from handset mode, press ❶and replace the handset on cradle.
♦ Receive volume can be adjusted with + and – buttons.
♦ To end the conference, hang up or press ❶. Both lines will be released.
♦ To release one line, press the line select button of that line. The corresponding line LED
turns off. The phone will automatically be connected to the other line.
9. SPECIAL SIGNALLING KEYS
9.1. RD last number redial
♦ Pressing the RD button right after on line will redial the last number. After any digit (0-
9,*,#, flash) is dialed, pressing the RD button will have no effect.
♦ Redial buffer can be erased by pressing the RD button for 2 seconds. A long beep signals
erasure of the redial buffer.
9.2. R flash
♦ Pressing the R button will generate a timed break recall signal (flash), whose duration is
defined by customization.
Note: Receiver volume can be independently adjusted in handset and handsfree mode. The
volume settings return to default each time after the phone hangs up.
9.3. +, - Volume control
♦ During conversation, receive volume can be adjusted with the + and – buttons. The +
button increases receive volume by one step, while the – button decreases receive volume
by one step.
♦ There are 4 levels for handset mode, and 8 levels for handsfree mode. After a call is
terminated, the volume setting will revert back to default value.
♦ Handset and handsfree receive volume are independent of each other.
10. DATA PORT
♦ Data equipment such as fax or modem can be connected to the same line via the data port
jack of the phone. The data port is wired to L2.
♦ The data port supports RJ11 cords with RJ11 plug and conductors at either pin 3,4 or 2,5
11. MANUAL PROGRAMMING
In normal mode, the end-user can not change programming. To program the phone, the
manual programming mode has to be entered.
