Atomic Skin™ Heated Apparel with Microclimate Technology™
Rules For Safe Operation
For the best performance, your Atomic Skin Heated Apparel needs to fit snugly without hindering your
movement or compromising comfort. Heat is transferred through relatively close contact between the garment
and the rider’s body. It is recommended that no more than one thin layer of clothing be worn under our heated
apparel. Thick layers such as sweatshirts and sweatpants increase the space between the garment and the wearer,
thus reducing the effectiveness of the heating elements. To function properly, your outer jacket and glove needs
to cover the Atomic Skin Heated Apparel completely. Mesh gloves and jackets are not to be worn over the
Atomic Skin Heated Apparel.
Atomic Skin Heated Apparel is powered by a 12-volt electrical system. To function properly, one wiring harness
per person is needed.
All of the 12-volt DC garments in the Atomic Skin H-Series Heated Apparel line may be used alone or in any
combination with other Atomic Skin Heated Apparel garments, as long as they do not exceed the maximum
amperage allowed by your motorcycle. See the last pages of this instruction sheet or the Service Manual for
your model motorcycle for more detailed information on amperage.
Note: A Service Manual for your model motorcycle is available from the vehicle manufacturer.
