As receiving a fixture, carefu y unpacking the carton, checking contents to ensure that a parts are
in good condition. Informing the shipper immediate y and retaining packing materia for inspection

shipper’s confirmation.

Laser Safety Warnings
According to EN 60825-1:2007, this product be ongs to c ass 3B. Direct eye contact may cause
injury.
This product is for aser show on y. The c ass 3B aser ight shou d be operated by professiona
operator on y.
This is so-ca ed show aser, emitting radiation with a wave ength spectrum between 400 and
700nm and producing ighting effects for shows.
Internationa aser safety regu ations require that the vertica height from insta ment to ground is
more than 3 meters, horizonta distance is 2.5 meters from audience.
Never direct the aser beam to peop e or anima s and never eave this device running unatten-
ded.
The ega requirements for using aser entertainment products vary from country to country.
The user is responsib e for the ega requirements at the ocation/country of use.
Warning! A oid direct eye contact with laser beams during operation, especially when the
laser beams stay still, or injury to eyes may occur.

Attention! The insta ation must be carried out by qua ified service persona on y. Improper
insta ation can resu t in serious injuries and /or damage to property. Overhead rigging requi-
red extensive experience! Working oad imits shou d be respected, Certified insta ation ma-
teria s shou d be used, the insta ed device shou d be inspected regu ar y for safety.
 Make sure the area be ow the insta ation p ace is free from unwanted persons during rig-
ging, de-rigging and servicing.
Locate the fixture in a we venti ated spot, far away from any f ammab e materia s and/or i-
quids. The fixture must be fixed at east 50cm from surrounding wa s

Before rigging make sure that insta ation area can ho d the 10 times weight of device. Using
the stee rope which can ho d 12 times weight of device, through the eye-bo t for assisting hang in-
sta ment.

P ease use the attached power, note that power vo tage and frequency are the same as the mar-
ked vo tage and frequency of device when connecting power. Every device’s power shou d be con-
nected separate y, so that device can be contro ed individua y.

DMX Connection
Connection between aser ights and DMX must use the shied cab e of diameter more than
0.5mm. P ease use the attached 3 pin XLR p ug/socket to connect the DMX output/input inter-
face. The connection between socket and cab e as be ow( note the p ug/socket’s 3 pin number
and position).
Note, XLR p ug/socket’s 3pin can not be touched by inner hu , connection between pins is not
a owed. Except above connection, XLR p ug/socket can not be connected with XLR contro ine.
Device receives internationa standard DMX512(1990) contro signa .
When using standard DMX512 contro signa , the ast device’s output interface must be connec-
ted to a DMX p ug. This p ug is putting a 120 ohm resistance between “canon” p ug’s 2 pin and 3
pin. Showing as be ow pic. Sticking this p ug into the ast device’s signa output interface, it wi
avoid the interference during the process of signa transmission.

Polarized adjustment
Due to vibration and other reasons during shipping, Laser aggregate ight have the possibi ity to
be the status of deviation. You can adjust it through the three-dimensiona adjusting frame of ag-
gregate ight carried out. As be ow:

Menu operating instruction
Once after every power on aser, the VERSION and MANUFACTURE INFORMATION wi be sho-
wn in LCD monitor of rear pane . When aser is powered on, LCD monitor on rear pane shows the
current operating standa one mode or DMX address of DMX mode. With he p of LCD contro pane ,
is very easy to set and change the operating mode of aser. After every resetting and saved, the
new mode information wi be shown on LCD monitor at next power on.
Mode Option, to choose the operating mode of aser.
Confirmation, to store the current menu or confirm the current function
UP/DOWN, to change operating mode, parameter or DMX address.

NORME DI SICUREZZA Laser Class 3B
1 A ertenze generali
Non uti izzare i proiettore aser senza ettura e comprensione su a sicurezza aser e su e istruzioni
operative contenute in questo manua e.
Secondo la norma EN 60825-1:2007, questo prodotto appartiene alla classe 3B.
Laser che sono normalmente pericolosi in caso di visione diretta del fascio, ma
le cui riflessioni diffuse non sono normalmente pericolose.
I prodotti a cui questo manua e si riferisce sono conformi a e Direttive de a Comunità Europea e
pertanto recano a sig a.
I prodotto deve essere a imentato con tensione 230V 50-60Hz
È obb igatorio effettuare i co egamento ad un impianto di a imentazione dotato di una messa a
terra (secondo norma EN 60598-1). Si raccomanda, ino tre, di proteggere e inee di a imentazione
de e unità dai contatti indiretti e/o cortocircuiti verso massa tramite ’uso di interruttori differen-
zia i opportunamente dimensionati.
Le operazioni di co egamento a a rete di distribuzione de ’energia e ettrica devono essere effet-
tuate da un insta atore e ettrico qua ificato.
1.1 Acqua ed umidità: l’apparecchio non deve essere utilizzato all'aperto in caso di
pioggia in prossimità di acqua o in ambienti particolarmente umidi.
1.2 Ventilazione: L’apparecchio deve essere posto in modo da avere adeguata
ventilazione, non deve essere coperto con panni o teli .
1.3 Calore:
L’apparecchio deve essere posto lontano da fonti di calore e comunque tra i -10 e i 40 .
1. Alimentazione:
L’apparecchio deve essere collegato solo al tipo di alimentazione descritto nelle istruzioni
d’uso o segnalato sull’apparecchio. Il prodotto deve essere alimentato con tensione 230V
50-60Hz. Per evitare il danneggiamento del cavo d’alimentazione dell’apparato, assicurarsi
che questo non venga calpestato o schiacciato da oggetti pesanti.

Le operazioni di collegamento alla rete di distribuzione dell’energia elettrica devono essere
effettuate da un installatore elettrico qualificato.
1.5 Messa a terra:
È obbligatorio effettuare il collegamento ad un impianto di alimentazione dotato di una
messa a terra (secondo norma EN 60598-1). Si raccomanda, inoltre, di proteggere le linee
di alimentazione delle unità dai contatti indiretti e/o cortocircuiti verso massa tramite l’uso
di interruttori differenziali opportunamente dimensionati.
1.6 Pulizia:
E’ possibile eliminare la polvere utilizzando un getto d’aria compressa o un panno
inumidito. Non Utilizzare mai solventi o altri liquidi infiammabili.
1.7 Spostamento dell’unità:
prima di ogni spostamento, verificare che l’apparecchio sia spento e scollegato dalla rete
elettrica, in caso di dubbi, affidarsi a personale elettrico qualificato.
2 Resposabilità
2.1 Compiti del Propietario o Direttore della Struttura o E ento do e l'apperecchio opera

Attua le indicazioni e le prescrizioni fornite in sede di installazione del sistema dal TSL e dal
Servizio Sicurezza;
Predispone e misure di prevenzione e protezione necessarie.

2.2 Resposabile o Tecnico Sicurezza Laser
Dove sono insta ati:
Laser di C asse 3R, che emettono energia ad una unghezza d’onda esterna a ’interva o da 400
nm a 700 nm.

Deve essere nominato un Tecnico di Sicurezza Laser, con conoscenze specifiche ne campo dei si-
stemi aser e de e oro proprietà ottiche.

Predispone affinché i tragitto de fascio non sia, per quanto possibi e, a 'a tezza deg i occhi
deg i spettatori.
Evita rif essioni specu ari non vo ute e va uta e previene i verificarsi di que e accidenta i
Evita a diffusione ibera di fasci di c asse 4 e a oro interazione con sostanze infiammabi i.
Verifica che e connessioni e ettriche e a messa a terra de e parti meta iche potenzia men-
te in tensione siano correttamente predisposte.
Verifica a presenza di eventua i rischi co atera i (gas in pressione, criogenici, radiazioni co -
atera i, ecc.), predispone per una adeguata protezione dag i stessi ed evita a produzione di
gas nocivi, fumi o partico ati che non siano adeguatamente aspirati.
Si prende cura de a rimozione de comando a chiave quando cessa ’uti izzo di aser di c as-
se 3B o 4.

2.3 Gli Operatori Laser
G i operatori devono:
Osservare e norme de presente rego amento e e prescrizioni dettate da Responsabi e e da
TSL.
Non osservare i fascio aser attraverso fibre ottiche o sistemi di racco ta (te escopi, microscopi
ecc.) senza espressa autorizzazione de Responsabi e, né osservare mai direttamente i fascio
anche se muniti di occhia i protettivi.
Evitare con cura e rif essioni non contro ate ed accidenta i e quindi, fra ’a tro, non indossare
oro ogi, braccia etti, orecchini etc.
Verificare che tutte e condizioni di sicurezza previste siano correttamente predisposte prima
di inviare i fascio in un©area che non è sotto a propria diretta visione.
Astenersi da rimuovere o modificare, senza autorizzazione de Responsabi e, i dispositivi di
protezione e di interb occo e da compiere manovre che non siano di propria competenza o
che possano compromettere a sicurezza.
Avvisare i Responsabi e, dei dispositivi di prevenzione e protezione che non funzionino o siano
danneggiati, nonché di eventua i perico i di cui vengano a conoscenza; sospendendo ne con-
tempo ©uso de aser ed e iminando eventua i perico i immediati.
Provvede a contenere e conseguenze di eventua i incidenti ed avvisare immediatamente i Re-
sponsabi e o i Direttore de a Struttura.

3 Rischi connessi all’uso dei laser
3.1 Classificazione dei sistemi laser
I sistemi laser presentano un’elevata variabilità nella lunghezza d’onda della radiazione,
nella sua potenza, nelle caratteristiche dell’impulso, nella geometria del fascio. Non è
possibile considerare i laser come un unico gruppo a cui sia possibile applicare limiti e
comportamenti di sicurezza comuni.
La normativa ha pertanto introdotto una classificazione, che si riferisce specificamente
all’emissione accessibile del sistema laser ed al pericolo potenziale (per le esposizioni
dell’occhio e della pelle) sulla base delle sue caratteristiche.
La classificazione è la seguente:
Classe 1: Laser che sono sicuri nelle condizioni di funzionamento ragionevolmente
prevedibili, compresa la visione con strumenti ottici.
Classe 1M: Laser con 302,5 nm < l < 4000 nm che sono sicuri nelle condizioni di
funzionamento ragionevolmente prevedibili, ma che possono essere pericolosi se
l’utilizzatore impiega ottiche di visualizzazione del raggio del raggio.
Classe 2: Laser che emettono radiazione con 400 nm < l < 700 nm per cui la
protezione è garantita dalle reazioni di difesa naturale compreso il riflesso
palpebrale.
Classe 2M: Laser che emettono radiazione con 400 nm < l < 700 nm per cui la
protezione è garantita dalle reazioni di difesa naturale compreso il riflesso
palpebrale, ma per i quali l’osservazione può risultare più pericolosa se l’osservatore
utilizza ottiche di visualizzazione del fascio.
Classe 3R: Laser che emettono radiazione con 302,5 nm < l < 106 nm in cui la
visione diretta del fascio è potenzialmente pericolosa ma lo è meno di quella dei
laser della successiva classe 3B e pertanto si applicano prescrizioni costruttive e di
controllo minori.
Classe 3B: Laser che sono normalmente pericolosi in caso di visione diretta del
fascio, ma le cui riflessioni diffuse non sono normalmente pericolose.
Classe : laser che sono in grado di produrre riflessioni diffuse pericolose il loro
uso richiede un’estrema cautela. , possono causare lesioni alla pelle e potrebbero
costituire pericolo di incendio di oggetti e/o sostanze con cui vengano a contatto.
Tali rischi andranno valutati, in sede di installazione del sistema, da parte del TSL
che, provvederà all’apprestamento di tutte le misure antincendio necessarie.
Di tutti i sistemi laser deve essere nota la classe.
La classificazione è certificata dal costruttore ovvero, se si tratta di sorgente prototipo, dal
Responsabile ed è riportata mediante targhette informative sul sistema.
