Installation
Refer to the parameter list for information on setting content and items.
Windows
1Download the USB remote application for Windows from our website.
http://www.atvcorporation.com/en/products/videos/a-pro-4/support.html
2Unpack the downloaded ZIP file to any directory.
Move the unpacked file to the desired directory.
3Run MS-USB-RS.exe.
USB remote program will run.
(The "exe" extension may not display on your machine.)
Depending on how your computer is set up, the first time you launch MS-USB-RS it may be terminated with an error
message saying the PC is protected by Windows. In this case, select the le and right-click to select "Run."

1Download the USB remote application for Mac OS X from our website.

2Unpack the downloaded DMG file to any directory.
Move the unpacked file to the desired directory.
3Run MS-USB-RS.app.
USB remote program will run.
(The "app" extension may not display on your machine.)
Depending on how your Mac is set up, the rst time you launch MS-USB-RS it may be terminated with an error message
reading "MS-USB-RS" can't be opened because it is from an unidentied developer." In this case, depress the "control" key
and click "Open." The system will ask for your verication to run the program.
This procedure is only needed the rst time you run the program.

Displays the serial number.
Firmware Version
Displays the firmware version.
Main FPGA Version
Displays the Main FPGA version.
USB3.0 FPGA Version
Displays the USB 3.0 FPGA version.

Displays the Device Select screen.
Selects the device.
Parameter Setting button
Displays the Parameter Setting screen.
Sets parameters.
The device must be selected before parameters can
be set.
Software Update button

1Use a browser on a PC running on the same network.
2Connect the browser to the device using the IP address (http://192.168.1.1).
The network remote set-up screen will be displayed.
If the device is not displayed, check the network connections and IP address.

Sets GPI/AUDIO IN connector function:
Audio Input: Used as the audio input connector.
GPI Input 1-4: Used as GPI input connector 1-4.
OPEN and CLOSE pulsewidths must be at least 100 ms.
GPI Output 1-4: Used as GPI output connector 1-4.
Current 20 mA max., external supply +5 V.
* Left-ch tip is GPI1 and ring is GPI2, right-ch tip is GPI3 and ring is
GPI4.

GPI1 OUT: INPUT 1 PGM (red) tally

Sets the video input to be synched with the audio from the AUDIO IN
connector.
Off: Always output as set mixing level.
IN1-4: Output as the set mixing level when the set input is selected.
Channel Level -INF,,0.0,,6.0 dB Displays the audio mixing level for the AUDIO IN connector.
Set with the EXT INPUT knob on the front panel.
Input Impedance Hi-Z,600ohms Sets the input impedance for the AUDIO IN connector.

Sets SDI output color sampling.
YCC422: 10-bit YCC 4:2:2 output.
RGB444: 10-bit RGB 4:4:4 output.
YCC444: 10-bit YCC 4:4:4 output
* When set to RGB444 or YCC444, 2K 1080p output is 6G-SDI,
and 1080i 720p output is 3G-SDI. 480i and 576i are always 10-bit
YCC4:2:2 output.
3G SDI Type LevelA,LevelB
Sets the output method for 3G-SDI output.
Level-A: Commonly used in facility equipment
Level-B: Commonly used in broadcast equipment.
