greift mit den Nasen in die Löcher des
Hochtöner-Gitters. Durch drehen nach
links wird der Hochtöner in der
Halterung verriegelt, durch drehen
nach rechts entriegelt.
The attached lock/unlock tool is
design to fit in the holes of the
tweeter-grille. Turning the tweeter
to the left will lock the tweeter into
the housing, turning to the right will
unlock the tweeter.

Allgemein introduction
Das Lautsprechersystem lässt sich an die jeweilige Akustik des
Fahrzeuges und an den persönlichen Geschmack anpassen. Je
nach Lage der Lautsprecheröffnungen kann die Weiche so
eingestellt werden, dass der Frequenzgang mit diesen
geometrischen Gegebenheiten optimiert wird. Desweiteren ist es
möglich die Frequenzweiche an 2 bis 8 Ohm Lautsprecher im
Mitteltonbereich anzupassen. Dies alles wird durch Umstecken(1748
Möglichkeiten) der Brücken/Jumper erreicht. Ein willkürliches
Umstecken verschlechtert die klanglichen Eigenschaften des
Systems.
The speaker system is adaptable to specific car acoustics and
to every bodies personal music sound taste. The frequency
response can be optimized according to position and
geometric situation of the speaker by simple changes of the
leading wire connections (JUMPER). It is also possible to
adjust the crossover to 2up to 8 Ohm speaker in the midrange.
All of this can be reached by re plugging the jumpers
(1748 possibilities). Unnecessary changes by the JUMPER(s)
decrease the sound behavior of the whole speaker system.

Pegel anzupassen z.B. bei einer Montage des Mitteltöners im
Fußraum und des Hochtöners auf dem Armaturenbrett. Ohne
Pegelabsenkung wären die Hochtöner viel zu laut. Natürlich kann
die Weiche auch auf die persönliche Vorstellung der
Hochtonlautstärke oder Musikrichtung eingestellt werden.

Anpassung des Hochtonpegels section a High frequency level
WICHTIG: Die Weiche wird in einer Grundeinstellung
ausgeliefert. Sollte ein Lautsprecher einmal nicht funktionieren,
viel zu leise spielen oder sich klanglich verfärbt anhören, muss die
Weiche wieder in diese Grundeinstellung gestellt werden, um
sicher zu gehen, dass nicht die Weicheneinstellung für die
Probleme verantwortlich ist und Ihr Fachhändler nicht unnötig
nach einem Fehler an einem Lautsprecher sucht.
IMPORTANT: The crossover is supplied with a default
setting. If some speakers do not work or work too much softly
as bad sounding, the crossover has to be adjusted again to the
basic settings in order to clarify if mistakes on crossover setting
is the real defect reason or not. Thus you can avoid that you or
the dealer have to check the speaker unnecessarily.

Anpassung im Präsen bereich section b 4-7 kH frequency tuning
If tweeters are installed by “indirect radiation” (big angle default),
they could sound too loud in lower high frequencies. The
crossover can adjust the amplitude on that band by reduction of
the capacitor from tweeter circuit.
Werden Hochtöner indirekt strahlend (mit großem Fehlwinkel)
eingebaut, sind sie im Präsenzbereich (nur im unteren
Hochtonbereich) teilweise zu laut. Dies kann durch Reduzierung
der Kapazität im Hochtonzweig verbessert werden.

If tweeters are installed by “direct radiation” (low angled fault)
they will sound too loud on the super-high frequencies range. By
increasing the resistance R the amplitude will be reduced in the
super high frequency field. Remark: The bigger the value of R,
the smaller the amplitude.
The level can be adapted across the whole high frequency area
by increasing (decreasing) C and simultaneous decreasing
(increasing) R. The common front-stage audio systems have
sounding problems caused by different distances between driver
and tweeters, combined with different angle defaults of the left
and right tweeter. The specialist knows how to adapt the left,
respectively the right tweeter itself, according to the A and B
section.
Werden Hochtöner direkt strahlend (mit geringem Fehlwinkel)
eingebaut, sind sie im Superhochtonbereich (nur im oberen
Hochtonbereich) teilweise zu laut. Durch die Erhöhung des
Widerstandes R, verringert sich die Amplitude im
Superhochtonbereich. Merke: Je größer der Wert von R, desto
größer die Absenkung. Durch Erhöhen (Verringern) von C und
gleichzeitigem Verringern (Erhöhen) von R kann der Pegel über den
gesamten Hochtonbereich angepasst werden.
Bei fast jedem Einbau eines Frontsystems ergibt sich das Problem,
dass die Hochtöner nicht nur verschieden weit von der Fahrerposition
entfernt sind, sondern auch unterschiedliche Fehlwinkel des rechten
und des linken Hochtöners aufweisen. Hier hat der Spezialist die
Möglichkeit, links und rechts, wie in Sektionen A und B beschrieben,
getrennt anzup
assen.

It is useful, depending on installation position and speaker size, to
limit the higher frequencies up to 6 dB or 12 dB. Especially smaller
speakers, or those installed more above should be limited. In
contrast, a 165 mm speaker can also be affected to get a level
increase with the 12 dB circuit around his cutting frequency.
Result can be a better efficiency under the cutting frequency. The
best is to listen or measure it with MICRO AS.
Je nach Einbauposition und Größe des Mitteltöners ist es sinnvoll,
ihn nach oben zu begrenzen (6 oder 12 dB). Kleinere Lautsprecher
oder weiter oben installierte sollten mit 12 dB begrenzt werden. Aber
auch ein 165mm Lautsprecher kann durch eine 12 dB Schaltung eine
Pegelanhebung vor seiner Übernahmefrequenz bekommen, wodurch
im Auto übliche Senken bei der Übernahmefrequenz angeglichen
werden können. Ausprobieren und hören bzw. messen
(MICRO AS) ist hier sinnvoll!

- WARN NG: Trennen Sie vor der Montage den Massepol (-)
von der Fahrzeugbatterie. Kontrollieren Sie alle Anschlüsse auf
richtige Polung. Falsche Polung führt zu Kurzschlüssen und kann
die Fahrzeugelektrik beschädigen.
- Die besten Einbaupositionen sind die Originalplätze zwecks
Originalität und einfacherer Montage.
- wichtig: Beachten Sie das die Lautsprecher plan und stabil
eingebaut werden. In manchen Fällen ist eine stabiler
Plastikadapter, Holz- oder Metallring erforderlich. Die Qualität des
Einbaues entscheidet sehr stark das Klangbild, daher sollte auf
Dämmung und Sorgfalt bei der Installation geachtet werden.
Beachten Sie dass die Lautsprecher vor Hitze, mechanischen
Einflüssen Sonneneinstrahlung, Feuchtigkeit und Nässe
geschützt sind. Dies erreicht man durch diverses Zubehör von
A DIO SYSTEM (s.u.).
- Achtung: Verlegen Sie Ihre Kabel so dass diese nicht
gequetscht werden oder über scharfe Kanten verlaufen. Dies
kann zu Beschädigungen und Kurzschlüssen führen.
- Vorsicht: beim Entfernen von Innenverkleidungen. Die
Befestigungsteile aus Plastik können beschädigt werden und
müssen ersetzt werden.
- wichtig: ist die richtige Polarität der Lautsprecher. Das
Klangbild kann aber auch durch verpolen der Hochtöner
verbessert werden.
Ausprobieren und hören bzw. messen(MICRO AS) ist hier
sinnvoll!
- Warning: First disconnect negative pole of your car
battery. Check polarity changing polarity may cause serious
damages to your car electric.
- Best speaker positions are the original build in positions. Easy
installation and originality are the reasons.
- Take care your speakers are build in straight, plain and well
fastening.
-Sometimes using a mounting adapter made from plastic, wood
or metal may help you to fix all equipment proper to your car.
- Important: As better your speakers were installed the
better the sound will be. A wide range of optionally mounting
accessories by A DIO SYSTEM will help you to get best
possible results keeping out vibrations and humidity.
- Warning: Lay all cables as straight as possible without
squashing or laying them over sharp edges. Otherwise this could
cause damages and short circuit to your whole installation.
- ATTENTION: Be careful removing original plastic parts of
your car. The fitting parts could be damaged and have to be
replaced.
The right polarity of all speakers is extremely important for the
sound of your car audio system. We recommend changing
polarity of the tweeters finding out the best possible sound.
The best is to listen or measure it with MICRO AS.

All speakers and voice coils produce higher impedance according
to higher frequencies, created by an imaginary resistance
(reactance). The adjusted crossover circuit works properly, when
the increase through a connected impedance-linearization
(R-C part) is being reduced. The setting of the R-C parts is
adjusted by three free switchable resistors. Another advantage
result of the free switchable impedance-linearization is, that it is
possible to adapt 2 or 3 or 4 or 8 Ohm midrange at the crossover.
To know if the proposed adjusting is the best sound, it is
important to listen or to measure (MICRO AS).
Alle Lautsprecher mit Schwingspule erzeugen zu höheren
Frequenzen eine steigende Impedanz. Erzeugt wird diese durch
einen imaginären Widerstand(Reaktanz). Damit die angepasste
Frequenzweichenschaltung optimal arbeiten kann, wird der Anstieg
durch eine zugeschaltete Impedanz-Linearisierung (R-C Glied)
eingedämmt. Die Justierung des RC-Gliedes wird durch drei frei
schaltbare Widerstände eingestellt. Ein weiterer großer Vorteil
besteht darin, dass durch die frei schaltbare Impedanz-Linearisierung
2 oder 3 oder 4 oder 8 OHM Tief-Mitteltöner an die Weiche
angepasst werden können. Ob die vorgeschlagene Variante zum
klanglichen Ergebniss führt, muss gemessen(MICRO AS)
oder angehört werden.
