Sehr geehrter AUDIOVOX-Kunde,
Vielen Dank, dass Sie sich für die iBox 200 Stereo-Docking-Station von
Audiovox entschieden haben.
Bitte lesen Sie unsere folgenden Hinweise vor Inbetriebnahme der
iBox 200 genau durch.
Sicherheitshinweise
• Setzen Sie das Gerät und das separate Netzteil weder Wasser noch
Feuchtigkeit aus.
• Betreiben Sie das Gerät nur im angegebenen Temperaturbereich von
0°C bis 40°C.
• Sorgen Sie für ausreichende Belüftung des Gerätes.
Ein Mindestabstand von 10 cm zu Gegenständen seitlich, nach hinten
und oben sollte nicht unterschritten werden.
• Bei Kontakt mit Feuchtigkeit oder Flüssigkeiten sofort den Netzszecker
ziehen.
• Reinigen Sie das Gerät nur mit einem trockenen Tuch. Verwenden Sie
keine Reinigungsmittel oder chemische Lösungsmittel, da sonst die
Oberfläche beschädigt werden könnte
• Öffnen Sie niemals das Gerät oder das Netzteil.
• Bei sichtbaren Beschädigungen des Netzkabels darf das Gerät nicht
mehr betrieben werden. Ein beschädigtes Kabel darf nicht repariert, son-
dern muß ausgetauscht werden.
• Überlassen Sie Wartungs- oder Reparaturarbeiten immer qualifizier-
tem Fachpersonal.

Entsorgungshinweise
Gemäß der europäischen Richtlinie 2002/96/EC müssen alle elektri-
schen und elektronischen Geräte über lokale Sammelstellen
getrennt entsorgt werden. Bitte beachten Sie die lokalen
Vorschriften und entsorgen Sie Ihre Altgeräte nicht mit dem
normalen Hausmüll.

Inbetriebnahme
• Wählen Sie die zu Ihrem iPod Modell passende Adapterschale und set-
zen sie in die Vertiefung am Gerät ein (Bild 1, Nr. 7). Es können auch
original iPod Adapterschalen verwendet werden.
• Entfernen Sie die Schutzfolie am Batteriefach der Fernbedienung
(Bild 3, Pos C).
• Entfernen Sie den Kunststoffschutz am iPod-Systemstecker
(Bild 1, Pos. 8).
• Verbinden Sie das Ausgangskabel des separaten Netzteiles mit dem
Stromversorgungseingang an der Rückseite des Gerätes (Bild 2 , pos. A).
• Stecken Sie den Netzstecker in eine Netzsteckdose.
Das Gerät befindet sich nun im Standby-Modus.
• Stecken Sie Ihren iPod auf den Systemstecker und drücken ihn leicht
nach unten bis zum Anschlag. Der iPod ist leicht nach hinten geneigt.
Info: Die Batterie des iPod wird geladen, solange er mit der iBox 200
verbunden ist, und diese über das Netzteil mit Strom versorgt wird.
Auswechseln der Batterie für die Fernbedienung
Funktioniert die Fernbedienung nicht mehr einwandfrei, muß die
Batterie ausgetauscht werden. Hierzu öffnen Sie das Batteriefach (Bild
3, Pos C) und setzen eine neue Batterie (Lizium Batterie, 3V CR2025)
ein. Polung, wie im Batteriefach angegeben, beachten!
Batterie Entsorgung
Alt-Batterien sind Sondermüll und müssen gemäß den aktuellen
Vorschriften entsorgt werden.

Introduction
Congratulation for selecting this iBox 200 Stereo-Docking-Station from
Audiovox.
All the safety and operating instructions should be read before the pro-
duct is operated..
Cautions and Warnings
• Do not expose this appliance to rain or moisture.
• Do not submerge or expose for extended period to water.
• Protect from high humidity and rain.
• Only operate within specified temperature range (0 °C to 40 °C).
• Unplug immediately if liquid has been spilled or object have fallen
into the apparatus.
• Clean only with a dry cloth. Do not use detergents or chemical sol-
vents as this might damage the finish.
• Unplug and disconnect external antennas during lightning storms.
• Do not remove cover [or back].
• Refer servicing to qualified service personnel.

DISPOSAL
According to the European Directive 2002/96/EC all electrical
and electronic products must be collected separately by a local
collection system. Please act according to your local rules and do
not dispose of your old products with your normal household waste.

Using your iBox
• Select the adapter faceplate that fits your iPod model and insert it
into the depression on the device (Fig. 1, No. 7). Original iPod adap-
ter faceplates may also be used.
• Remove the protective film on the remote control’s battery compart-
ment (Fig. 3, Item C).
• Remove the plastic protection on the iPod system connector (Fig. 1,
No. 8).
• Connect the output cable on the separate power supply unit to the
power supply input on the device’s rear (Fig. 2, No. A).
• Plug the mains connector into a mains socket. The device is now in
stand-by mode.
• Place your iPod on the system connector and lightly press it down
until it stops. The iPod is inclined slightly towards the rear.
Note: The iPod battery is charged for as long as it is connected to and
is supplied with power through the iBox 200.
Changing the remote control’s battery
The battery needs changing when the remote control stops working
properly. Open the battery compartment (Fig. 3, Item C) and insert a
new battery (lithium battery, 3V CR2025). Please ensure that the poles
match as indicated in the battery compartment!
Old batteries constitute hazardous waste and must be disposed in
accordance with current regulations.

Veuillez lire attentivement le mode d’emploi avant l’utilisation de l’iBox
200.
Sécurité
•Protéger l’appareil et le transformateur de l’eau et de l’humidité.
• Utiliser l’appareil seulement dans les conditions de température indi-
quées de 0°C à 40°C.
• Veiller à une bonne aération de l’appareil. Une distance minimale de
10 cm entre l’appareil et les autres objets (arrière, en haut et sur les
côtés) doit être respectée.
• En cas d’exposition à l’humidité ou à des liquides, débrancher immé-
diatement l’appareil du réseau électrique.
• Pour nettoyer l’appareil, utiliser seulement un tissu sec. Ne pas utiliser
des produits nettoyants ou des solvants chimiques, car la surface pour-
rait être endommagée.
• Ne jamais ouvrir l’appareil et/ou le transformateur.
• Dans le cas d’un câble relié au réseau électrique qui est visiblement
endommagé, l’appareil doit rester éteint. Un câble endommagé ne doit
pas être réparé mais doit être remplacé.
• Tous travaux de maintenance ou de réparation doivent être exécutés
par un spécialiste qualifié.

Traitement des déchets
Conformément à la réglementation européenne 2002/96/EC,
l’élimination de tous les déchets issus d’appareils électriques et
électroniques doit être effectuée sur un point de ramassage com-
munal. Respecter les réglementations locales et ne pas jeter les vieux
appareils avec les déchets domestiques.
