INTRODUCTION
Congratulations on your purchase of the IPD-HDDS/IPD-HDDS(W) Desktop/Under
Cabinet Docking Station. The Desktop/Under Cabinet Docking Station is available in
two colors: black (IPD-HDDS) or white (IPD-HDDS(W)). The IPD-HDDS/IPD-HDDS(W) is
compatible with the Audiovox iPad protective case (IPD-1, IPD-2C, IPD-2HP, IPD-2FM or
IPD-2CX, sold separately).
Please read the instruction manual for this product before using it. The documentation
provided will allow you to fully enjoy all the features this unit has to oer. Please save this
manual for future reference.
CAUTION: Do not attempt to remove the Protective Case mounting arm when the RED
switch is in the locked position. Damage to the Desktop/Under Cabinet Docking Station
will result.

FRONT VIEW
1. Protective Case Mounting Arm Port
This port allows the Protective Case Mounting Arm to be inserted in to the Under Cabinet/
Desktop Docking Station.
2. Right Speaker
3. Red Power On LED
When the LED is ON the Under Cabinet/Desktop Docking Station is ON.

REAR VIEW
1. Volume -VOL+ Adjustment
Rotate to increase or decrease the volume.
2. AUX IN Jack
3.5mm jack which is used to accept audio inputs from an external device.
3. STEREO REVERSAL A-B Switch
This switch adjusts the right and left speaker audio output based on the position of the Under
Cabinet/Desktop Docking Station. Set the switch to the A position when mounted under a
cabinet. Set the switch to the B position when placed on a desktop.
4. DC 12V Connector
Allows for the connection of the 12VDC adapter to power the Under Cabinet/Desktop
Docking Station.
5. POWER Switch
Turns the Under Cabinet/Desktop Docking Station ON and OFF

OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
Power On/O
Use the rear panel POWER switch to turn the Under Cabinet/Desktop Docking Station ON and OFF.
When the Under Cabinet/Desktop Docking Station is ON, the front RED LED will be ON.
Volume Adjustment
Rotate the rear panel volume control to increase or decrease the Under Cabinet/Desktop Docking
Station volume.
For best operation leave the volume control set to max and control the volume with the iPad
volume control.

UNDER CABINET DOCKING STATION INSTALLATION
1. Position the template under the cabinet with the arrow pointing toward the front of the
cabinet. Using a sharp object mark the positions for the holes for the mounting screws.
2. Drill three small pilot holes for the mounting screws using a 1/16 inch or 3/32 inch drill bit.
Caution: Do not drill all the way through the cabinet!
3. Insert the screws through the Mounting Bracket into the pilot holes. Refer to gure below.
4. Tighten the screws securing the Mounting Bracket of the Under Cabinet/Desktop Docking
Station to cabinet surface.
Caution: Do not over tighten the screws!

5. Turn the Under Cabinet/Desktop Docking over and locate the three holes to insert three thumb
screws that secure to the Mounting Bracket.
NOTE: The unit may come with rubber feet already installed. If so remove the rubber feet rst before
installing the screws.
6. Insert the thumb three screws in to the bottom of Under Cabinet/Desktop Docking Station. Do
not overtighten the screws.

7. Move the locking lever to the unlock position. Insert the bottom of Under Cabinet/Desktop
Docking Station into the Mounting Bracket and rotate.
8. Move the locking lever to the lock position. Ensure that the Under Cabinet/Desktop Docking
Station is secured to the Mounting Bracket.
9. Set the STEREO REVERSAL A-B Switch to the A position.
10. Press on the bottom of the Under Cabinet/Desktop Docking Station to extend the bottom
assembly to reveal the port for the Protective Case Mounting Arm.
