Single Slot Dock
Quick Start Guide
Overview
The DL-Axist single slot dock is a charging and communication dock that supports USB type B
connection. The dock also contains an auxiliary slot to charge a spare battery.
A power supply is required for battery recharging operations, both for the PDA and spare battery pack
recharging.

The DL-Axist single slot dock package contains:
1. DL-Axist single slot dock
2. Power cord
3. Power supply
4. USB cable (type A to B)
Parts and Functions
Charge the PDA
The single slot dock provides power to the DL-Axist and allows the charging of the device’s main
battery.
To charge the PDA:
Charge the Spare Battery
The single slot dock can charge the PDA main battery and a spare battery simultaneously.
To charge the spare battery:
1. Insert the spare battery into the spare battery slot, contacts side first, and then snap it into
place. Ensure the label side is facing up. The dock’s spare battery charge LED illuminates red.
2. When charging is complete, pull the tab and lift the battery out of the slot.
The spare battery pack recharging slot is compatible with the following batteries:
• 94ACC0128 DL-Axist Standard Battery Li-Ion 3200 mAH, 3.8V
• 94ACC0129 DL-Axist Extended Battery Li-Ion 6400 mAH, 3.8V

2. When charging is complete, remove the

LED Indicators
Communication
The DL-Axist single slot dock supports USB 2.0 high speed interface. Using a standard USB (type A to
B) cable, you can connect the dock to a host device and transfer data.
1. Connect power to the dock. Use country specific power cord. Refer to the Datalogic website.
2. Plug the USB cable into the USB port on the back of the dock.
3. Connect the other end of the USB cable to the USB port of the host device.
4. Insert the DL-Axist into the dock.

• Reorient or relocate the receiving antenna.
• Increase the separation between the equipment and receiver.
• Connect the equipment into an outlet on a circuit different from that to which the receiver is
connected.
• Consult the dealer or an experienced radio/TV technician for help.

2. Spare batteries should be charged at an ambient temperature between 0 - 35º C to achieve the maximum
charging rate. Charging is allowed in the battery temperature range 0-45°C. Never charge the main device
or spare batteries in a closed space (cabinet) where excessive heat can build up.
