trouble-free service,andiscompactsothatyou can takeitwithyou
anywhereandisdesigned forquick and easy use. Pleaseread the

B. CautionsandWarnings
WaterandMoisture
Donotusethisproductnearwaterforexample,nearabathtub,
washbowl,kitchen sink,orlaundrytub;inawetbasement; or
nearaswimming pool; and thelike.Donotspill liquidson your
PortableDVDoritscomponentsastheymaytouchdangerous
voltage pointsorshort-outpartsthat couldresultinafireor
electricshock. Iftheunitisbroughtdirectlyfromacoldtoa
warm location, moisturemaycondenseinside theunit. Waitfor
aboutone hourtillthe moistureevaporatesbeforeoperating the
unit.
Cleaning
Unplugthisproduct fromthe wall outlet beforecleaning.Donot
useliquidcleanersoraerosolcleaners. Useasoftslightlydamp

Heat

Donot useirregularlyshapeddiscs suchasheartorstar-shaped
discs astheymaycausethe unit tomalfunction.Donotstick paper,
tape orglue on the disc.Donot exposethe disctodirectsunlight or
heatsourcessuchashotairducts. Donottouchthe surfaceofdisc.
Handlethediscbyitsedge.Cleanthediscbywipingthediscfromthe
centeroutwithacleaning cloth. Removethediscfromthe unitand
storeitinitscaseafterplaying.Someplayback operationsofdiscs
maybeintentionallyfixed bysoftwareproducers.Sincethisunitplays

D.PoweringandInstallation
1. Powering theSystemIndoors (RefertoFigure1)
Plug one end ofthe ACtoDC adapterintothe DC 9-12Vjack on
therightsideofthe mainunit,thenplugtheotherendintothe100-
240VACpowerreceptacle.
2. Powering theSysteminaCar (RefertoFigure1)
Plug oneendofthe DC poweradapterintotheDC jackonthe unit,
then plug theotherend intothevehicle‘sDC powersocket.
3.Charging theBuilt-inBattery
SlidethePowerOn/OffSwitchtoOffposition.Plugoneendofthe
ACtoDCadapterintothe DC jackon the sideofthe player,then
plugthe otherendintothe100~240VACpoweroutlet.Thecharge
lightwill flashforabout3seconds, thenitturnstored.Oncefully
charged,the LEDindicatorwill be green.Then removethe ACto
DC adapterwall plug.
NOTE: Yournewbatterymustbe charged aminimumof8hours
beforethefirstusage. Eachfullrecharge takesapproxi-
matelyfivehoursandonefullchargecanprovide powerto
theplayerforapproximately2hours.

InstallingtheDVDPlayerontotheSeatBack inaCar
(RefertoFigure2)
1).Unfoldthecarrybag,and placethe DVDplayeron the bag
beneaththeelasticstraps. Ensurethat theunit scornersare
secured bythe elasticstraps.
2).Securethe upperportionof the carrybag toheadrestsupport
barsusingtheheadreststrap.Adjusttheheadreststrapuntilthe
bag isfirmlysecured.
3).Securethelowerportionofthecarrybagtothevehicleseatback
using the seat back strap. Adjusttheseat backstrap untilthe
bag isfirmlysecured.
