Auralic ARIES MINI User manual

ARIES MINI is compatible with most hard disk drive or solid
state drive available on the market. Though there are some
limitation, your choice is pretty fleixble. Here are some
suggestions from AURALiC:
1Maximum height of the drive: 9.5MM
2Maximum current rate of the drive: 1000mA (1A)
3Solid state drive is preferred because of no noise and vibration
4Recommended HDD series: WD Red, Seagate Momentus
5Recommended SSD brands: Intel, Samsung, Crucial, Plextor
6Select only from major brands and high reliability series
7No capacity limitation

Choose the Right Storage
Please ask for professional peopleís help if you donít have
any experience changing a computerís internal storage
drive before. You will need the Drive Toolkit (shown as below)
coming with ARIES MINI to complete the following steps.
ALL DATA ON DRIVE WILL BE ERASED DURING INITIALIZATION.
DO NOT COPY ANY MUSIC IN ADVANCE.
DISCONNECT POWER CORD BEFORE INSTALLATION.

1Special screws for fix HDD/SSSD on drive tray:

Remove drive cover screws Remove drive tray Slide the drive tray as indicated Install drive cover
Make sure the tray is in position Install drive cover screws

Put drive tray back
Remove drive cover
