Set up the evice safely
The we ther st tion with outdoor sensor is not designed for oper tion in rooms with high humidity (i.e. b throom). M ke
sure th t:
• the sensor h ngs or st nds upright;
• sufficient ventil tion is lw ys gu r nteed (don’t pl ce the device on shelves or where curt ins or furniture block the
ventil tion holes, nd ensure th t there re t le st 10 cm of sp ce on ll sides);
• the device isn’t pl ced on thick c rpet or bed during oper tion ;
• no direct he t sources (i.e. r di tors) influence the device;
• no direct sunlight re ches the device;
• cont ct with spl shing or dripping w ter must be voided (don’t pl ce ny items filled with liquids, i.e. v ses, onto or
next to the device);
• the device doesn’t st nd ne r m gnetic fields (i.e. spe kers);
• c ndles nd other open fl mes must be kept w y from this product t ll times to prevent the spre d of fire

bilities or l ck of experience nd knowledge, if they re supervised or instructed reg rding the s fe use of the device

Setup
Remove the protective film from the we ther st tion nd the outdoor sensor. Open the b ttery comp rtment of the
outdoor sensor nd insert the included b tteries in the correct pol rity. The LED indic tor will briefly light up nd the
displ y will show the temper ture. Close the b ttery comp rtment.
Open the b ttery comp rtment of the we ther st tion nd insert the included b tteries in the correct pol rity. Close the
b ttery comp rtment. The we ther st tion will now receive the sign l from the outdoor sensor. This process m y t ke
sever l minutes to complete. If reception is successful, the selected ch nnel 22 nd the current outdoor temper ture 24
will ppe r. After successful reception of the sign l for the outdoor sensor, the reception of the DCF77 time sign l will
begin nd the r dio control indic tor 18 will blink on the displ y next to the time. All buttons except the SN ZE /
LIGHT button 12 re dis bled during the reception process. If reception f ils fter 10 minutes, ple se set the time
m nu lly. The we ther st tion will re ttempt reception t 04:00 nd 05:00 nd, if reception is successful, will correct the
set time.
Note: Please do not move the weather station or the sensor during the reception process.
If the reception ttempt is successful, the r dio control indic tor 18 will ppe r perm nently on the displ y nd the
correct time, d te, d y of the week nd the times of sunrise, sunset, moonrise nd moonset will be set utom tic lly. DST
will ppe r on the displ y next to the r dio control indic tor 18 during d ylight s ving time.
Note: If you re in country, in which the clock displ ys the wrong time even though it c n receive the time sign l,
ple se use the time zone djustment to use your l rm clock in time zone other th n the st nd rd time zone (UTC+1 =
Centr l Europe n Time). Set the difference in hours (- 01 for ex mple) to the desired time zone. Rest rt r dio reception
fter ch nging this setting. Your clock receives the DCF77 time sign l but will show the djusted time (1 hour less for
ex mple).
Note: Alw ys h ng or pl ce the sensor in n upright orient tion.
Reception problems
The DCF77 r dio sign l is tr nsmitted from loc tion ne r Fr nkfurt m M in nd c n be received within r dius of
pproxim tely 1500 km round Fr nkfurt m M in. However, there re some obst cles nd sources of interference,
which m y subst nti lly hinder reception. If your we ther st tion does not correctly receive the DCF77 r dio sign l,
ple se h ng or pl ce the we ther st tion in different loc tion t your site. Ple se note th t devices such s computers,
telephones, r dios nd televisions m y c use electrom gnetic r di tion which c n interfere with the DCF77 sign l
reception. Other possible detriments to reception re: strong building insul tion (met l building m teri ls), ne rby
mount ins or tmospheric interference. It m y lso be necess ry to repl ce the b tteries.
Restarting ra io signal reception
M nu lly rest rt the r dio sign l reception by pressing nd holding the -/ -button 11 for 3 seconds.
Light
Briefly ctiv te the b cklight by pressing the SN ZE/LIGHT-button 12.
12/24-hour time format
Select the 12- or 24 hour time form t by pressing the +/12/24 -button 14. AM will ppe r on the displ y in the
morning, PM in the fternoon if the 12-hour time form t is selected.
Temperature unit
Select the temper ture unit Celsius (°C) or F hrenheit (°F) by pressing the °C/°F+ -button 28.
Spee setting
Press nd hold buttons to use the speed setting fe ture when setting numeric l v lues.
Basic settings
The following v lues c n be set: Time zone, time, d te, l ngu ge of the d y of the week displ y nd loc tion.
Press nd hold the M DE-button 15 for 3 seconds while in norm l time displ y mode. The time zone will blink nd c n
be set by pressing the -/ -button 11 or the +/12/24 -button 14. Press the M DE-button 15, to confirm your setting.
Set the hours, minutes, seconds, ye r, month, d y, l ngu ge of the d y of the week displ y (GE=Germ n, FR=French,
ES=Sp nish, IT=It li n, NE=Dutch, DA=D nish, RU=Russi n, EN=English), your country nd your city (see loc tion
t ble) in the s me w y. After ch nging the loc tion, it will t ke some time for the we ther st tion to upd te the times for
sunrise, sunset, moonrise nd moonset.
Insert batteries into the out oor sensor first an then insert batteries into the weather
station.

After setting your country nd city, the we ther st tion will c lcul te the pproxim te times for sunrise, sunset, moonrise
nd moonset.
Note: The calculated times are approximate. Differences can also result from your local terrain and weather.
Briefly displ y the pproxim te number of hours of sunlight for the current d y by pressing SUN/M N-button 31. To
view the inform tion for different loc tion or d te, press nd hold the SUN/M N-button 31 for 3 seconds. The
country will blink nd c n be selected by pressing the -/ -button 11 or the +/12/24 -button 14. Confirm your setting
by pressing the SUN/M N-button 31. Set the city, ye r, month nd d y in the s me w y nd confirm your setting by
pressing the SUN/M N-button 31.

Alarm
The we ther st tion h s 2 l rms, which c n be set sep r tely. Press the M DE-button 15 to select l rm 1 or l rm 2.
The corresponding l rm symbols will ppe r. When displ ying l rm 1 or l rm 2, press nd hold the M DE-button
15, to enter setting mode. The hours will blink on the displ y. Set the hours by pressing the -/ -button 11 or the
+/12/24 -button 14 nd confirm your setting by pressing the M DE-T ste 15. Set the minutes in the s me w y. Press
the AL/ N/ FF button while displ ying the l rm you wish to ctiv te. Press the AL/ N/ FF-button 10, to ctiv te
(on) or de ctiv te (oF) the l rm. If l rm 1 is ctiv ted the symbol will ppe r. If l rm 2 is ctiv te the symbol
will ppe r. If no button is pressed within 5 seconds, the we ther st tion will return to norm l time displ y mode.
Snooze
Press the SN ZE/LIGHT-button 12, to tempor rily de ctiv te the l rm. The bell symbol will blink on the displ y.
After 5 minutes the l rm will sound g in. Press ny button except button 12 to shut off the l rm.
Weather forecast
The we ther icons show we ther tendency for the next hours nd not the current we ther.
Should the forec st of your we ther st tion be incorrect, you c n djust the displ y by pressing nd holding the
HIST RY/WEATHER-button 27 for 3 seconds. The we ther icon will blink. You c n now select the correct we ther icon
by pressing the °C/°F + -button 28 or the MAX/MIN- -button 29. Confirm your selection by pressing the
HIST RY/WEATHER-button 27.
Note: The weather station will start the forecast approximately 6 hours after the current weather was entered.

Note: The weather station measures the absolute air pressure. Your local weather service can supply you with the
relative air pressure for your location, which you can input into the weather station.
To ch nge the rel tive ir pressure, press nd hold the Relative/Absolute-button 30 for 3 seconds. The ir pressure
v lue will blink on the displ y nd c n be set by pressing the °C/°F + -button 28 or MAX/MIN-button 29. Confirm
your setting by pressing the Relative/Absolute-button 30.
Select the ir pressure unit Hectop sc l (hP ) or Inches of mercury (inHg) by pressing nd holding the °C/°F + -button
28 for 3 seconds.
12-hour air pressure history
Press the HIST RY/WEATHER-button 27 to view the ir pressure history for the l st 12 hours.
0 – HR = current ir pressure
- 1 HR = ir pressure 1 hour go
-2 HR = ir pressure 2 hours go... nd so on
Out oor sensor/channel setting
You c n use the we ther st tion with up to 3 outdoor sensors t the s me time. Open the b ttery comp rtment of the
outdoor sensor nd select ch nnel (1-3) by using the ch nnel switch 39. Press nd hold the CHANNEL-button 26 for
3 seconds or until n udible sign l sounds. The we ther st tion will now ttempt to receive the sign l 43. Now press the

TX-button 42 to m nu lly tr nsmit the temper ture from the outdoor sensor to the we ther st tion. Close the b ttery
comp rtment. Press the °C/°F-button 41 to select °C-Celsius or °F-F hrenheit.
Note: The outdoor sensor must be within a maximum distance of 100 m of the weather station with no obstructions.
If you re using mutliple outdoor sensors: Press the CHANNEL-button 26 to select the reception ch nnel.
The rot tion symbol on the displ y t 22 indic tes th t the we ther st tion is rot ting through ch nnels 1-3.
Only ctive outdoor sensors re displ yed. Press nd hold the CHANNEL-button 26 to remove unused ch nnels. When
dding n ddition l outdoor sensor, the we ther st tion will detect it utom tic lly. You c n lso m nu lly tr nsmit the
sign l by pressing the TX-button 42.

Maximum an minimum values
The m ximum nd minimum temper ture nd humidity re stored s soon s the b tteries re inserted.
Briefly press the Max/Min- -button 29 to displ y the m ximum MAX, minimum MIN nd current indoor temper ture 3,
outdoor temper ture 24 nd humidity 5 on the displ y. To delete the m ximum nd minimum v lues, press nd hold the
Max/Min- -button 29 for 3 seconds. An udible sign l will sound nd the stored v lues will be deleted. The we ther
st tion will immedi tely rest rt recording of the v lues.
Battery level in icator
If the b tteries run too low to power the we ther st tion, the outdoor sensor nd sign l tr nsmission, the b ttery level
indic tor 23 will ppe r on the displ y. Repl ce the b tteries in ll devices s soon s possible. Rest rt the we ther
st tion.
Restart (RESET)
Press the RESET-button 33 within the b ttery comp rtment to reset the we ther st tion.
Cleaning instructions
Cle n the product with soft, dry nd lint-free cloth. A gl sses cle ning cloth is ide l.

Sääaseman määritelty tarkoituksenmukainen käyttö
Sää sem on t rkoitettu kellon j n näyttämiseen sekä ohjeiss esitettyjen lisätoimintojen käyttöön. K ikki muu
käyttäminen t i l itteen muuntelu ei ole määräysten muk ist . V lmist j ei v st v hingoist , jotk iheutuv t

Sää sem j ulko nturi ei ole t rkoitettu käytettäväksi tiloiss , joiss ilm n kosteus on korke (esim. kylpyhuoneess ).
Huolehdi siitä, että:
• nturi on pysty sennoss , myös seinälle kiinnitettäessä;
• ilm nv ihto on t ttu (älä sijoit l itett hyllyköihin t i p ikkoihin, missä verhot t i huonek lut peittävät tuuletus ukot,
j jätä vähintään 10 cm etäisyyttä jok suunt n);
• käynnissä olev l itett ei setet p ksun m ton t i sängyn päälle, j ettei mitkään lämpölähteet (lämmitysl itteet)
ole suor n suunn ttun l itett kohti;
• l ite ei ole ltistettun suor lle uringonp isteelle;

Käyttöönotto

suunn ss lokeroon. Sulje p ristolokero. Sää sem ott nyt ulko nturin lähettämän sign lin v st n. Tämä toimitus
voi kestää joit kin minuuttej . V st noton onnistuttu tulee näyttöön v littu k n v 22 j senhetkinen ulkolämpötil
ilmestyy näyttöön 24. Onnistuneen ulko nturisign lin v st noton jälkeen sää sem loitt DCF 77-r diosign lin
v st noton j r diotorni 18 vilkkuu näytössä kellon j n vieressä. Tämä toimitus voi kestää 3-10 minuutti . V st noton
ik n ov t k ikki p inikkeet p itsi SN ZE / LIGHT-painike 12 poissa toiminnasta. Jos ik sign lin v st notto ei
onnistu 10 minuutin sisällä, niin set kellon ik m nu lisesti. Sää sem käynnistää kello 04:00 j 05:00
ik sign lin v st nottoyrityksen uudest n j onnistuneen sign linv st noton jälkeen kellon ik säätyy
utom ttisesti oike n ik n.
Vihje: sääasemaa ja ulkoanturia ei saa liikuttaa aikasignaalin vastaanoton aikana.
Aik sign lin v st noton onnistuttu on r diotorni 18 pysyvästi näytössä sekä oike kellon ik , päivämäärä,
viikonpäivä, uringon j kuun nousu- j l sku j t sekä kuunv iheet säätyvät utom ttisesti. Kesä ik n on näytössä
r diotornin vieressä kesä j n merkkinä DST.
Vihje: Olless si m ss , jonk p ik llinen kellon ik poikke DCF- ik sign lin j st , voit säätää kellollesi
ik vyöhykkeen t s uksen. Void ksesi käyttää herätyskello si myös toisell ik vyöhykkeellä kuin mikä on kellon
v kio setuksen (UTC + 1 = Keski-Euroop n ik ), niin set ero tuntein (esim. -01) v litsem si ik vyöhykkeeseen.
Suorit sen jälkeen l itteen uudelleenkäynnistys. Herätyskellosi v st nott edelleen DCF77-r dio ik sign lin, mutt
