important information about afety, u e and di po al. Read the manual with all
u age and afety note before u ing the weather tation. Only u e the weather
tation in the intended way and for the intended application . If the weather tation
i given to omeone el e, include all documentation with the weather tation.

eek medical attention immediately. Batterie /rechargeable batterie mu t alway
be in erted in the correct polarity. If nece ary, clean the battery and device
contact . Never attempt to recharge non-rechargeable batterie . Never hort-
circuit or attempt to open batterie . Never throw batterie into fire a they may
explode.
If the device will not be u ed for an extended time period, remove the battery and
tore the device in a dry and du t-free area. Improper u e of the battery can lead
to explo ion or leakage.
If the battery leak , avoid contact with kin, eye and mucou membrane . U e
glove . If you are expo ed to battery acid, rin e the affected area with plenty of
clean water and immediately eek medical attention. Remove di charged batterie

Securely placin or mountin the weather station
The weather tation with outdoor en or i not de igned for operation in room
with high humidity (i.e. bathroom). U e the included crew and anchor for wall
mounting. Make ure that:
 ufficient ventilation i alway guaranteed (don’t place the device on helve or
where curtain or furniture block the ventilation hole , and en ure that there are
at lea t 10 cm of pace on all ide );
 the device i n’t placed on a thick carpet or bed during operation, no direct heat
ource (i.e. radiator ) influence the device;
 no direct unlight reache the device;
 contact with pla hing or dripping water mu t be avoided (don’t place any item
filled with liquid , i.e. va e , onto or next to the device);
 the device doe n’t tand near magnetic field (i.e. peaker );
 no foreign object or du t penetrate the hou ing;
 candle and other open flame mu t be kept away from thi product at all time
to prevent the pread of fire
Securely placin or mountin the outdoor sensor
Place the en or in a location where it i protected from the weather, for example
under an awning or carport. The en or ha an IPX4 rating and i therefore
protected from water pla he . U e the included crew and anchor for wall
mounting. Make ure that:
 the en or hang or tand upright;
 ufficient ventilation i alway guaranteed (don’t place the device on helve or
where curtain or furniture block the ventilation hole , and en ure that there are
at lea t 10 cm of pace on all ide );
 no direct unlight reache the device;
 the device doe n’t tand near magnetic field (i.e. peaker );
 no foreign object or du t penetrate the hou ing;
Setup
Remove the protective film from the weather tation and the outdoor en or. Open
the battery compartment of the outdoor en or 43 and in ert the included batterie
in the correct polarity. The LED indicator 47 will briefly light up and the di play will
how the temperature. Clo e the battery compartment.
Open the battery compartment of the weather tation 37 and in ert the included
batterie in the correct polarity. Clo e the battery compartment. The weather

6 blink and the weather tation receive the ignal from the outdoor
en or. Thi proce may take everal minute to complete. During thi time the
ignal 3 of the outdoor en or will blink. If reception i ucce ful, the elected
channel 23 and the current outdoor temperature 2 will appear. After ucce ful
reception of the ignal for the outdoor en or, the reception of the DCF77 time
ignal will begin and the radio control indicator 19 will blink on the di play next to
the time. All button except the NOOZE / LIGHT button 5 are di abled during
the reception proce . If reception fail after 10 minute , plea e et the time
manually. The weather tation will reattempt reception at 04:00 and 05:00 and, if
reception i ucce ful, will correct the et time.
Note: Please do not move the weather station or the sensor during the reception
process.
If the reception attempt i ucce ful, the radio control indicator 19 will appear
permanently on the di play and the correct time, date, day of the week and the
time of unri e, un et, moonri e and moon et will be et automatically. D T will
appear on the di play next to the radio control indicator 19 during daylight aving
time.
Time zone adjustment
If you are in a country, in which the clock di play the wrong time even though it
can receive the time ignal, plea e u e the time zone adju tment to u e your
weather tation in a time zone other than the tandard time zone (UTC+1 = Central
European Time). Set the difference in hour (- 01 for example) to the de ired time
zone.
Insert batteries into the outdoor sensor 43 first and then
insert batteries into the weather station 37.

The hour blink and the weather tation will di play the changed time (for example
1 hour back) after a brief moment.
Reception problems
The DCF77 radio ignal i tran mitted from a location near Frankfurt am Main and
can be received within a radiu of approximately 1500 km around Frankfurt am
Main. However, there are ome ob tacle and ource of interference, which may
ub tantially hinder reception. If your weather tation doe not correctly receive
the DCF77 radio ignal, plea e hang or place the weather tation in a different
location at your ite. Plea e note that device uch a computer , telephone ,
radio and televi ion may cau e electromagnetic radiation which can interfere
with the DCF77 ignal reception. Other po ible detriment to reception are:
trong building in ulation (metal building material ), nearby mountain or
atmo pheric interference. It may al o be nece ary to replace the batterie .
Restart/turn off radio reception
Manually re tart the radio ignal reception by pre ing and holding the -/ -
button 26 for 3 econd .
The radio reception can be turned off by pre ing and holding the -/ -button
26 for 3 econd . The radio tower ymbol 19 will blink. Pre and hold the -/ -
button 26 again for 3 econd during the reception attempt. The radio tower
ymbol 19 will di appear. The weather tation will tart a new reception attempt at
04:00 a.m. o’clock and 05:00 a.m. o’clock and if the reception attempt i
ucce ful, the manually et time will be corrected.
Li ht
Briefly activate the backlight by pre ing the NOOZE/LIGHT-button 5.
12/24-hour time format
Select the 12- or 24 hour time format by pre ing the +/12/24 -button 24. AM
will appear on the di play in the morning, PM in the afternoon if the 12-hour time
format i elected.
Temperature unit
Select the temperature unit Cel iu (°C) or Fahrenheit (°F) by pre ing the °C/°F+
-button 29.
Speed settin
Pre and hold button to u e the peed etting feature when etting numerical
value .
Basic settin s
The following value can be et: Time zone, time, date, language of the day of the
week di play and location.
Pre and hold the MODE-button 28 for 3 econd while in normal time di play
mode. The time zone will blink and can be et by pre ing the -/ -button 26 or
the +/12/24 -button 24. Pre the MODE-button 28, to confirm your etting. Set
the hour , minute , econd , year, month, day, language of the day of the week
di play (GE=German, FR=French, ES=Spani h, IT=Italian, NE=Dutch, DA=Dani h,
RU=Ru ian, EN=Engli h), your country and your city ( ee location table) in the
ame way. After changing the location, it will take ome time for the weather
tation to update the time for unri e, un et, moonri e and moon et.

After etting your country and city, the weather tation will calculate the
approximate time for unri e, un et, moonri e and moon et.
Note: The calculated times are approximate. Differences can also result from
your local terrain and weather.
Briefly di play the approximate number of hour of unlight for the current day by
pre ing UN/MOON-button 32. If you wi h to ee the unri e or un et time for
another location or another date, pre and hold the SUN/MOON

The weather tation ha 2 alarm , which can be et eparately. Pre the MODE-
button 28 to elect alarm 1 or alarm 2. The corre ponding alarm ymbol will
appear. When di playing alarm 1 or alarm 2, pre and hold the MODE-button
28, to enter etting mode. The hour will blink on the di play. Set the hour by
pre ing the -/ -button 26 or the +/12/24 -button 24 and confirm your etting
by pre ing the MODE-Ta te 28. Set the minute in the ame way. Pre the
ALARM/ON/OFF-button 30 while di playing the alarm you wi h to activate.
Pre the ALARM/ON/OFF-button 30, to activate (on) or deactivate (oF) the
alarm. If alarm 1 i activated the ymbol will appear. If alarm 2 i activate the
ymbol will appear. If no button i pre ed within 5 econd , the weather
tation will return to normal time di play mode.
Snooze
Pre the NOOZE/LIGHT-button 5, to temporarily deactivate the alarm. The bell
ymbol will blink on the di play. After 5 minute the alarm will ound again. Pre
any button except NOOZE/LIGHT-button 5 to hut off the alarm.
Weather forecast
Note: The weather station will start the forecast approximately 6 hours after the
current weather was entered.
The weather icon how a weather tendency for the next hour and not the current
weather.
Should the foreca t of your weather tation be incorrect, you can adju t the
di play by pre ing and holding the HI TORY/WEATHER-button 31 for 3
econd . The weather icon will blink. You can now elect the correct weather icon
by pre ing the °C/°F + -button 29 or the MAX/MIN- -button 27. Confirm your
election by pre ing the HI TORY/WEATHER-button 31.
Please note: et rain or downpour if it is snowing. After confirming your setting
by pressing the HI TORY/WEATHER-button 31 the snow symbol will appear if
the outdoor temperature is below 0°C.

Note: The weather station measures the absolute air pressure. Your local
weather service can supply you with the relative air pressure for your location,
which you can input into the weather station.
To change the relative air pre ure, pre and hold the Relative/Absolute-button
25 for 3 econd . The air pre ure value will blink on the di play and can be et
by pre ing the °C/°F + -button 29 or MAX/MIN-button 27. Confirm your etting
by pre ing the Relative/Absolute-button 25.
Select the air pre ure unit Hectopa cal (hPa) or Inche of mercury (inHg) by
pre ing and holding the °C/°F + -button 29 for 3 econd .
12-hour air pressure history
Pre the HI TORY/WEATHER-button 31 to view the air pre ure hi tory for the
la t 12 hour .
0 – HR = current air pre ure
- 1 HR = air pre ure 1 hour ago
-2 HR = air pre ure 2 hour ago... and o on
Outdoor sensor/channel settin
You can u e the weather tation with up to 3 outdoor en or at the ame time.
Open the battery compartment of the outdoor en or 43 and elect a channel (1-
3) by u ing the Channel election witch 42. Pre and hold the CHANNEL-button
33 for 3 econd or until an audible ignal ound . The weather tation will now
attempt to receive the ignal 3.
Now pre the TX-button 40 to manually tran mit the temperature from the outdoor
en or to the weather tation.
Clo e the battery compartment. Pre the °C/°F-button 39 to elect °C-Cel iu or
°F-Fahrenheit.
Note: The outdoor sensor must be within a maximum distance of 100 m of the
weather station with no obstructions.
If you are u ing mutliple outdoor en or : Pre the CHANNEL-button 33 to elect
the reception channel.
The rotation ymbol on the di play at 23 indicate that the weather tation i
rotating through channel 1-3.
Only active outdoor en or are di played. Pre and hold the CHANNEL-button
33 to remove unu ed channel . When adding an additional outdoor en or, the
weather tation will detect it automatically. You can al o manually tran mit the
ignal by pre ing the TX-button 40.

Maximum and minimum values
The maximum and minimum temperature and humidity are tored a oon a the
batterie are in erted.
Briefly pre the Max/Min- -button 27 to di play the maximum MAX, minimum
MIN and current indoor temperature 9, outdoor temperature 2 and humidity 11
on the di play. To delete the maximum and minimum value , pre and hold the
Max/Min- -button 27 for 3 econd . An audible ignal will ound and the tored
value will be deleted. The weather tation will immediately re tart recording of the
value .
Battery level indicator
If the batterie run too low to power the weather tation, the outdoor en or and
ignal tran mi ion, the battery level indicator 1 will appear on the di play.
Replace the batterie in all device a oon a po ible. Re tart the weather tation.
Restart (RESET)
Pre the RE ET-button 35 to re et the weather tation.
Cleanin instructions
Clean the product with a oft, dry and lint-free cloth. A gla e cleaning cloth i
ideal.

Thi weather tation include a 3 year warranty tarting on the day of purcha e. In
ca e of defect of thi weather tation you have, by law, certain right regarding the
vendor of the weather tation. The e right are not changed by the warranty which
i de cribed in the following paragraph .
Warranty conditions
The warranty duration tart on the date of purcha e. Plea e keep the receipt in a
afe place. The receipt i needed a a proof of purcha e. If a defect occur in the
weather tation within 3 year , the weather tation will be repaired or replaced
(according to our choice) free of charge. Thi warranty require that, within the 3
year warranty period, the weather tation and the receipt can be made available to
u along with a hort written de cription of the defect and when it occured. If the
defect i covered by the warranty, you will receive the repaired weather tation or a
new weather tation. Repair or replacement doe not cau e the warranty period to
re tart.
Warranty period and defects liability
The warranty period i not increa ed by the defect liability. Thi al o applie to
repaired or replaced part . If defect are noticed at the time of purcha e they mu t
be reported immediately upon unpacking the item. Paid repair may be available
after the end of the warranty period.
Scope of the warranty
The weather tation wa manufactured according to trict quality guideline and
wa carefully in pected before delivery. The warranty doe not include part that
experience normal wear and tear and can thu be een a wear part or fragile
part that are damaged. Example include Switche , Batterie or part made of
gla .
Thi warranty become void if the weather tation i damaged, i not u ed in the
recommended way or i improperly repaired.
For proper u e of the weather tation all in truction in thi manual mu t be adhered
to exactly. U e of the weather tation in a way that i di couraged in the manual
mu t be avoided.
The weather tation not intended for commercial u e. Abu ive or improper u e,
exce ive force and change that are made by non-authorized repair center will
void the warranty.

Näin ripustat tai asetat sääaseman turvallisesti
paikoilleen
Sääa emaa ei ole tarkoitettu käytettäväk i tiloi a, joi a ilman ko teu on korkea

6 vilkkuu ja ääa ema ottaa illoin va taan ulkoanturin lähettämää ignaalia. Tämä

Va taanoton onni tuttua tulee näyttöön valittu kanava 23 ja enhetkinen

oikea kellonaika, päivämäärä, viikonpäivä, auringon ja kuun nou u- ja la kuajat
ekä kuunvaiheet äätyvät automaatti e ti. Ke äaikana on näytö ä radiotornin
viere ä ke äajan merkkinä DST 19.
Aikavyöhykkeen mukautus

Vastaanottohäiriö
DCF77-radioaika ignaalia lähetetään Frankfurt am Mainin lähi töltä ja e on

Voit lopettaa radio-ohjatun ajan va taanottami en painamalla 3 ekunnin ajan -/
-painiketta 26. Radiotorni-kuvake 19 vilkkuu. Paina en aikana uudelleen 3
ekunnin ajan -/ -painiketta 26. Radiotorni-kuvake 19 lakkaa vilkkuma ta ja
ammuu. Radio-ohjattu ääa ema aloittaa uuden kellonaika ignaalin va taanoton
kello 04:00 ja kello 05:00, ja korjaa automaatti e ti kellonajan onni tuneen
ignaalin va taanoton mukaan.

Paina NOOZE/LIGHT -painiketta 5 aadak e i tilapäi e ti tau tavalon päälle.
12/24-tunnin aikamuoto
Paina +/12/24 -painiketta 24, valitak e i 12- tai 24-tunnin aikamuodon.
