◼Unboxing
1) The battery assembly is packaged with a wooden box tray. It is recommended to use an Exacto knife and other
tools to gently cut off and remove the plastic wrap. Demonstrated in the image below. Please wear protective
equipment while removing the steel strip plate box to prevent scratches.
2) Check before installation
▪If the battery assembly chassis is ruptured, deformed, or other any other abnormal conditions, stop using the
battery assembly chassis immediately and contact Autec.
▪If the connector connected to the battery assembly is loose, or cracked, there is a rupture in the insulation
layer, burnt markings, or any other abnormality, stop use immediately, and repair the abnormality before
connecting with the battery assembly.
◼Installation of Lithium Battery Assembly
1) Check the battery assembly for any visual defects.

2) Then prepare to install the battery, and turn the battery over to prevent damage, the lifting hole can hold more
than 1.5 times the weight of the battery, make sure to install the battery and chassis level to avoid other parts
colliding.
3) After the battery assembly is installed in place, securely plug the discharge plug into the car body, and check that it
is fastened into place. Do not loosen, to avoid shock.
4) Installation and connection of the communication plug: pay attention to the consistent position identification in
the bayonet and tighten the buckle. Check and tighten in place, the communication head white marking line should
be facing up.
ATTENTION:
1) During battery installation, wear safety equipment, and pay attention to personal safety.
2) The connecting line of the main power circuit must use the voltage resistance level and temperature resistance
level in line with the national standard for soft sheath cable, the rated voltage resistance of the cable line must
not be less than the maximum total voltage of the battery assembly, and the temperature resistance of the cable
in line must not exceed 125℃.

◼DC/DC interface
The battery assembly DC/DC interface is the Amphenol RT001609PN03 aviation plug socket, and the pair Amphenol
RT061609SNHEC03 aviation plug.
◼Use of the Battery Assembly
▪Basic requirements for the use parameters of the battery assembly
▪Before using the battery assembly, please carefully read through the user manual provided by Autec.
▪The operational battery management system has been built for battery assembly provided by us. The
recommended charge and discharge parameters of the battery assembly have been set through the battery
management system before leaving the factory.
◼Basic Operation Requirements for Battery Assembly
1) After the power and communication wiring harness are connected, the direct switch can be used normally.
2) The battery assembly is installed in the engine room. Once the power supply is switched off, and the battery
system is turned on, the battery assembly will operate normally. Under normal circumstances, the client meter will
display the total voltage, SOC, temperature, current, and the status of the alarm information of the battery assembly
(slightly different according to the model). If there is a fault alarm, begin troubleshooting to correct the error.
3) While operating the system, real-time information for the battery assembly will display. In case of an abnormal
condition, the system should be stopped to ensure safety. When the instrument SOC indicates 20%, the power supply
is insufficient. It is recommended customers charge the battery once the power is reduced to 20% or the alarm light is
on. It is not recommended to charge when it runs out of power, because it will affect the service life of the battery.
4) When the alarm light is on, charge the battery immediately.
5) The battery assembly is generally only 50% charged. Please do not use the battery assembly for a while before the
battery assembly and charger are finished debugging, to avoid excessive battery discharge.

6) After the battery low voltage alarm cuts off the power, restart the system, and continue to use it under the low
current, to prevent damage to the battery!
◼Operating Condition Requirements of the Battery Assembly
The product is designed to withstand the turbulent nature of being inside a vehicle if needed. Priority should be given
to good road conditions for driving, if the road conditions are poor, the vehicle speed should be reduced
appropriately, to ensure safe driving and control the driving distance. When driving in snow, or rain, pay attention to
the road conditions, and avoid staying in deep water to avoid system failure caused by water seepage.
◼Maintenance of the battery assembly
During the warranty period of the battery assembly, if there is a battery failure, the system is mainly overhauled,
supplemented by our technical support. The maintenance should be carried out in a place with safe conditions.
1) Repair and maintenance must be carried out by professionals or under the guidance of professional personnel.
2) Always wear insulated gloves during maintenance, and use the special tools designated by our company.
3) The maintenance site should be equipped with high-voltage battery maintenance warnings to avoid the
misoperation of non-maintenance personnel and high-voltage safety accidents.
4) When plugging and pulling out the charging and discharging terminals, gently plug and unplug them. After pulling
off, cover the insulation cap and avoid bending it to prevent damage to the connector.
5) When transporting, assembling, and disassembling the battery assembly, it should be placed as easily as possible to
avoid damage to the battery assembly.
6) Moisture and heat can damage the battery assembly. The transportation, assembling, and disassembling site of the
battery assembly should be done in a dry, and cool location.
7) During the transportation, assembling, and disassembling of the battery assembly, anyone handling the system
should not smoke, drink liquids, or do anything that may cause the leakage and combustion of the battery pack.
◼Battery Maintenance
Generally, the maintenance of the battery assembly is carried out simultaneously with the daily maintenance of the
system. The maintenance items of battery assembly include:
1) Clean the battery box, and sealing, and check how the battery insulation is performing.
2) Fix reliability detection and maintain the battery assembly box
3) Update the battery management system software.

◼Battery Assembly Transportation and Storage
▪Transportation requirements for battery assembly
1) During the transportation of the battery assembly, avoid sun exposure and rain exposure.
2) In the process of loading and unloading, the battery assembly should be handled with care to strictly prevent
damage.
3) In the process of transferring, the battery assembly must avoid strong impacts and extrusions by external forces to
avoid causing damage to the shell or cause internal structural damage.
◼Battery Assembly Storage Requirements
Long-term storage of battery assembly should choose a cool, ambient, and ventilated place, away from flammable or
explosive goods, avoid extreme exposure, to prevent the battery from failure due to high-temperature protection. For
more than 6 months, it is recommended to charge to 60% charge in a dry warehouse at room temperature; connect
the battery assembly to prevent moisture, and dust to avoid corrosion and cause a short circuit.
◼Safety and Emergency Strategy of Battery Assembly
During the use and maintenance of the battery assembly, the following abnormal conditions may occur according to
the instructions in this manual. Please contact the company for professional technical support.
1) Do not operate an electric vehicle equipped with a battery assembly at a temperature above 60℃.
2) Please try to avoid going into the battery assembly.
3) Unapproved personnel, should not touch, move, or disassemble the battery assembly and the corresponding high-
voltage cables, or other components with the high-voltage warning signs.
4) If the system is struck with a high-impact force, the equipment operation should be stopped for inspection.
5) If the battery assembly is leaking(liquid or smoke), or damaged, please stay a safe distance, and contact
professional fire personnel for disposal if necessary. Unapproved personnel shall not dispose of it by themselves to
avoid danger.
6) Due to the characteristics of the battery, battery capacity reduction is permitted during the warranty period. Refer
to Chapter 6 for battery maintenance.

1) When the power of the battery assembly is less than 50% SOC, and the storage time is more than 6 months, the
loss in battery capacity and charging cannot be restored.
2) Major safety accidents can be caused by cable fire and water entering the battery box caused by selecting cables
not suitable for this application, as well as charging outlets, wiring terminals, and other electrical components of the
power main circuit and low-voltage lines.
3) The power main circuit is not installed with appropriate high-voltage safety protection devices, once the battery
assembly is short-circuited due to an old cable, will cause damage to the battery.
4) The connection reliability of the cable terminals of the main power circuit is poor, causing serious heating at the
connection, resulting in battery life degradation, and even the burning out of the battery.
5) Failing to regularly check and maintain the battery will lead to an accident.
◼Warnings
1. Install batteries correctly.
2. Ensure the contact points are clean and conducive.
3. Do not mix different types or brands of batteries in any application.
4. Do not expose the batteries to heat or fire.
5. Keep away from small children.
