General Safety
mWARNING! When using the device,
basic safety precautions should always be
followed. Failure to follow all instructions listed
below may result in electric shock, re and/or
serious injury.
• Usage – For household use only. Do not use
this device for any application other than
those for which it was intended.
• Work area – Keep your work area clean and
well lit.
• Device condition – Keep the device dry,
clean and free from oil and grease.

Electrical Safety
mWARNING! Do not expose the device
to rain or wet conditions. Water entering the unit
may damage the device and increase the risk of
electric shock.
• Do not abuse the cable – Never carry the
device by the cable or yank the cable to
disconnect it from the outlet. Keep the cable
away from heat, oil, and sharp edges.
• Power – Do not leave the device unattended
when it is plugged into an electrical outlet.
Turn o the device, and unplug it before
leaving.
• Double Insulation – This device is equipped
with double insulation. Servicing a double-
insulated device requires extreme care and
should be performed only by qualied service
personnel at an authorized Snow Joe®+ Sun
Joe®dealer. Replacement parts must be
identical to the parts they replace. A double-
insulated device is marked with the words
“Double Insulation” or “Double Insulated.”
The symbol may also be marked on the
device.

device may exhibit unpredictable behavior

Unpacking
Carton Contents

1. Carefully remove the inator + deator and
check to see that all of the above items are
supplied.
2. Inspect the product carefully to make sure
no breakage or damage occurred during
shipping. If you nd damaged or missing
parts, DO NOT return the unit to the store.

NOTE: Do not discard the shipping carton
and packaging material until you are ready
to use your new inator + deator. The
packaging is made of recyclable materials.
Properly dispose of these materials in
accordance with local regulations.
IMPORTANT! The equipment and packaging
material are not toys. Do not let children play
with plastic bags, foils, or small parts. These
items can be swallowed and pose a suocation
risk!
Power
This device can be powered from a 120V AC
electrical outlet or from the 12V DC socket in
your vehicle. Both cables are permanently xed
to the unit and can be stowed in their respective
compartments.
Flip the AC/DC switch left or right for the
respective cable you wish to use. Return it to the
center to turn o the device (Fig. 1).

Power over AC
Using the AC cable stored on the bottom of the
device (Fig. 2), plug the end of the cable into an
electrical outlet or an extension cord (Fig. 3)
NOTE: This device is equipped with a
polarized plug (one blade is wider than the
other) which will only t in a polarized outlet
one way. If the plug does not fully t in the
outlet, reverse the plug. If it still does not t,
contact a qualied electrician to install the
proper outlet. Do not modify the plug in any
way.
mCAUTION! If using an extension
cord, ensure it is a properly wired and in good
condition. If used outdoors, only use a UL-,
CSA-, or ETL- rated extension cord for outdoor,
all-weather use. Follow the table below for the
minimum extension cord thickness and length.
Feel free to use an extension cord with a thicker
(lower number) gauge than shown.

Power over 12V DC
Using the DC cable stored on the right side of
the device, plug the 12V DC plug (also known
as a car charger) into the 12V DC socket of your
vehicle (Fig. 4).
Operation
mCAUTION! Do not leave items
unattended during ination. These items can
burst and could cause serious injury.
mWARNING! The pressure setting
displayed on the LCD screen is not perfectly
calibrated to exact values. After ination, tire
pressure must be checked using a calibrated
pressure gauge before driving the vehicle.
mWARNING! Risk of injury. Do not direct
air stream at body.
mWARNING! Hot surface. To reduce the
risk of burns, do not touch the air chuck during
ination.
1. First, press the mode button to cycle
between PSI or kPa (Fig. 5).
2. The +and –buttons allows you to manually
adjust the pressure setting. This determines
the pressure to which the item is inated

up to, or deated down to. Press either the
+or –buttons to increase or decrease the
pressure value by increments of 0.5 PSI/
5 kPa, or long press to quickly cycle the
value up or down (Fig 6).
Inating with the High
Pressure Air Hose
Schrader valves (cars, motorcycles and
mountain bikes) can be attached directly to the
air chuck without any additional attachments.
1. Pull out the high pressure air hose from the
bottom of the inator + deator (Fig. 7).
2. Unscrew the valve cap from the valve stem
(Schrader) of your tire (Fig. 8).

3. Place the air chuck onto the threaded valve
stem (Schrader), then press down on the air
chuck clamp to secure the chuck onto the
valve (Fig. 9).
4. Set the appropriate pressure according to
the label on the driver's side door or the
vehicle's user manual.
5. Once the desired pressure has been set,
ip the high volume/high pressure switch
to the high pressure setting (right) to initiate
ination (Fig. 10). The indicator LEDs will
cycle on from left to right to indicate ination
progress.
NOTE: Once the specied pressure setting
has been reached, the indicator LEDs will
light up solid and the motor will shut o
automatically.
6. Return the high volume/high pressure switch
back to the o (middle) position before using
it again.
High Pressure Air Hose Adapters
The high pressure air hose can also be used
with the provided adapters to inate a variety of
items. To use the adapters, lift up the air chuck
clamp and insert your adapter of choice into the
air chuck. Then press down on the air chuck
clamp to secure the adapter in place (Fig. 11).

Presta Valve Adapter
Presta valves are commonly used on road
bikes and some mountain bikes. To inate a
bicycle tire, you will need to use the presta valve
adapter.
1. Loosen the Presta valve locking nut on your
bike's valve stem (Fig. 12).
2. Thread the female end of the Presta valve
adapter onto valve stem of the bicycle tire.
3. Clamp the end of the air chuck down onto
the Presta valve adapter by pressing the air
chuck clamp down until it locks into place
(Fig. 13).

4. Set the appropriate pressure according to
the bicycle's tire wall. Then ip the high
volume/high pressure switch to the high
pressure setting (right) to initiate ination
(Fig. 10). The indicator LEDs will cycle
on from left to right to indicate ination
progress.
NOTE: Once the specied pressure setting
has been reached, the indicator LEDs will
light up solid and the motor will shut o
automatically.
5. After ination, return the high volume/high
pressure switch back to the o (middle)
position. Then remove the air chuck and
retighten the locking nut (Fig. 12).
Sports Ball Needle
Inate all kinds of sports balls with the Sports
ball needle (Fig. 14).
Tapered Adapter
Inate all kinds of small plastic or rubber
inatables such as pool rings, oats, air pillows
and more with the tapered adapter (Fig. 15).

Inating with the High Volume
Air Hose
The high volume air hose can be used to inate a
variety of large inatables such as rafts, bouncy
castles, air beds, inatable pools and more.
1. Pull out the high volume air hose from the
back of the unit. Insert the slotted end of the
hose into the high volume inator and twist
counter-clockwise until it locks into place
(Fig. 16).
2. Choose between the two high volume
adapters based on the size of the air valve
on the item. Insert the adapter into the air
valve (Fig. 17).
3. Flip the high volume/high pressure switch
to the high volume setting (left) to initiate
ination (Fig. 18).
4. Flip the high volume/high pressure switch
back to the o (middle) position once the
item has been suciently inated.

Deating with the High Volume
Air Hose
1. Insert the slotted end of the hose into the
high volume deator and twist counter-
clockwise until it locks into place (Fig. 19).
2. Flip the high volume/high pressure switch
to the high volume setting (left) to initiate
deation (Fig. 18).
3. Return the high volume/high pressure switch
back to the o (middle) position once the
item has been deated.
LED Light
The LED light switch controls the LED light on
the left side of the Inflator + Deflator (Fig. 20).
Follow the table below to activate the two
dierent modes.

Care and Maintenance
mWARNING! Store the device away from
hot surfaces or under direct sunlight to reduce
the risk of a short circuit.
mCAUTION! Have your device serviced
by a qualied repair person using only identical
replacement parts.
mWARNING! Do not allow brake uids,
gasoline, petroleum-based products, solvents,
etc., come in contact with plastic parts.
Chemicals can damage, weaken or destroy
plastic, which could result in personal injury.
Servicing of a Double Insulated
Product
In a double-insulated product, two systems of
insulation are provided instead of grounding.
No grounding means is provided on a double-
insulated product, nor should a means for
grounding be added to the product. Servicing
of a double-insulated product requires extreme
care and knowledge of the system, and should
be done only by qualied service personnel.
Replacement parts for a double-insulated
product must be identical to those parts in the
product.
Disposal
Recycling the tool
• Do not dispose of electrical devices as
unsorted municipal waste. Use separate
collection facilities.
• Contact your local government agency for
information regarding the collection systems
available.
• If electrical devices are disposed of in
landlls or dumps, hazardous substances
can leak into the groundwater and get into
the food chain, damaging your health and
well-being.

Recycling + Disposal
The product comes in a package that protects
it against damage during shipping. Keep the
package until you are sure that all parts have
been delivered and the product is functioning
properly. Recycle the package afterwards or
keep it for long-term storage.
WEEE symbol. Waste electrical
products should not be disposed of
with household waste. Please recycle
where facilities exist. Check with
your local authority or local store for
recycling regulations.
