contains 9.5 oz. of R-134a and .5 oz. of PAG oil with
a proprietary formula of additives to insure maximum cold air while
sealing common rubber o-ring, gasket, and hose leaks and extending
compressor life.
SMART CLIPS, when inserted into the air vent, will change color to
show that the system is fully charged. Check hoses and ports for
leaks and repair before recharging.
Remove both of the SMART CLIPS from the cap and insert
them into vehicle’s center air vent.
Locate the vehicle’s low side service port. This port will usually
have a plastic cap, and is located between the compressor and
the evaporator. It is the only port the Avalanche quick connect
coupler will connect to.
Hold can upright to charge. While charging rotate can between
a 12 o’clock position to the 3 o’clock position. Continue
process until can is empty (5-15 minutes) or until correct
amount of refrigerant is charged into the system. The word
Avalanche will turn from white to blue indicating refrigerant is
being added to the system.
Periodically, or if can is empty, stop adding refrigerant by
releasing the recharge button to check SMART CLIPS for
correct refrigerant fill. Remove quick connect coupler from
service port. NEVER PLACE REFRIGERANT CAN ON ANY
HOT ENGINE PART.
Check SMART CLIPS. One clip will change to blue showing
the A/C is approaching optimum fill. The second clip will
change to green showing the system is fully charged. (If
outside temperature is above 95°F, only the blue clip needs
to change color for the correct refrigerant fill. Leave clips in
vent and recheck when temperature falls below 95°F to
make sure the system is fully charged.)
When you have correct fill and your air conditioner is fully
charged, remove the quick connect coupler from the
vehicle’s service port and return empty can to store where
purchased. Check A/C system nameplate for maximum
volume. Do not overcharge.

(electric driven) compressor.
Start engine and turn air conditioner to maximum cool and fan
on highest setting (high).
Remove protective disc to allow use of push button. Shake can
well.
Press recharge button to release refrigerant.
Connect the recharge hose to the low side service port by
pulling the connector ring back as you push the fitting onto the
service port. Make sure it locks in place.

con una fórmula patentada de aditivos para garantizar un máximo de
aire frío y al mismo tiempo sellar la junta tórica (también llamado
empaque, aro-sello o anillo toroidal) de goma común, la junta y las
goteras de las mangueritas, extendiendo la vida del compresor.
Los CLIPS INTELIGENTES cambian de color cuando están inserta-
dos en el ducto de ventilación, indicando que el sistema está
completamente recargado. Revise las mangueras y los puertos en
busca de fugas y reparación antes de volver a cargarla.
Retire la tapa plástica de ambos CLIPS INTELIGENTES e
insértelos en el ducto de ventilación del vehículo.
Ubique la apertura de mantenimiento de abajo. Esta apertura
normalmente tendrá una tapa plástica y se encuentra ubicada
entre el compresor y el evaporador. Es la única apertura a la
cual el conector rápido de pares de AVALANCHE se conectará.
Agarre la lata vertical para cargar. Durante la carga, gire lata
desde una posición de reloj de las 12 hasta la posición de las 3.
Sigue con este proceso hasta que la lata está vacío (5 a 15
minutos) o hasta que la cantidad correcta de refrigerante se
carga en el sistema. La palabra “Avalanche” va a cambiar de
color blanco a azul, indicando que se está añadiendo refrigeran-
te al sistema.
Periódicamente, o si la lata ya está vacía, pare de añadir
refrigerante, soltando el botón de recarga para poder
revisar el nivel corrector de relleno del refrigerante. Retire
el conector rápido de pares de la apertura de mantenimien-
to o bien coloque la lata en un lugar conveniente. NUNCA
PONGA EL REFRIGERANTE EN UNA PARTE DEL MOTOR
QUE ESTÉ CALIENTE.
Vea los CLIPS INTELIGENTES. Uno de los clips va a
ponerse azul, mostrando que el aire acondicionado está
alcanzando su nivel óptimo de relleno. El segundo clip va a
ponerse verde, mostrando que el sistema está completa-
mente recargado. (Si la temperatura ambiental es superior
a 95°F, es decir 35°C, solo se requiere que el clip azul
cambie de color para tener el nivel correcto de relleno del
refrigerante. Deje los clips en el ducto y vuelva a revisarlos
cuando la temperatura haya bajado de 95°F para asegu-
rarse que el sistema ha sido recargado en forma completa).
Cuando tenga el nivel correcto de relleno y su aire acondi-
cionado esté completamente recargado, gire el mango en
sentido horario para volver a sellar la lata de refrigerante.
Retire el conector rápido de pares de la apertura de
mantenimiento del vehículo y guárdelo en un lugar fresco y
seco o bien deséchelo de acuerdo a las directrices o
reglamentos locales o estatales. Revise la presión del A/C.
No Sobrecargue el sistema.

No es para ser usado en vehículos híbridos/eléctricos que no
tienen un compresor activado por la correa (sino que impulsado
eléctricamente).
Prende el motor y encienda el aire acondicionado poniéndolo a
la temperatura más fría y ventilador en la posición más alta
(alto).
Retire el clip protector para permitir el uso del botón pulsador.
Agite la lata bien.
Presione el botón de recarga para soltar el refrigerante.
Conecte la manguerita de recarga a la apertura de mantenimien-
to de abajo, tirando el anillo conector mientras empuja el monta-
je en la apertura de mantenimiento. Asegúrese que esta quede
fija en el lugar correcto.
