Read and understand all of the instructions before using the
appliance. CAUTION! HOT SURFACE!
!
• This appliance is designed for commercial use only.
• This appliance must be placed on a level surface able to adequately support its weight.
• Never immerse the appliance in water.
• Do not unplug the appliance if your hands are wet.
• Do not unplug the appliance by pulling the cord.
• Do not attempt to repair or replace the power cord if it becomes damaged. Contact a qualified service agent.
• While the appliance is in use, some parts will become very hot. Ensure that the cord does not come in contact
with any hot parts.
• Be careful not to touch any hot surfaces.
• Make sure the Tank Heater Switch is “o ” (located at bottom rear side) before connecting to the power supply.

Installation
Carefully unpack the hot water dispenser and inspect for
damage and missing parts.
1. Place hot water dispenser on sturdy, level, heat resistant, non-ammable surface near power supply and water supply.
Do not connect water line or power cord at this time.
2. Form three coils of 1/4” O.D. copper tubing or high pressure exible hose (not supplied) and connect to the cold water line.
The coils allow the dispenser to be moved easily for cleaning and servicing. Flush incoming water in the line. See diagram Fig. 1.
Note: It is recommended that an optional shut o valve and water lter be installed on the water line at this time.
3. Attach the water line to the water inlet tting located on the rear of the dispenser. Hold the dispenser water inlet tting with a
wrench when tightening the water line.
4. Turn on water supply
5. Check for water leaks at water inlet. Tighten ttings if necessary.
6. Connect power supply cord into proper power supply as indicated on electrical nameplate.
Note: This dispenser is designed to operate with a water pressure between 30 to 80PSI. When water pressure exceeds
80PSI, it is recommended that an optional water pressure regulator be installed to reduce water pressure to 50 PSI.
For installation of less than 25 feet use 1/4’’ O.D. copper tubing. For installation of more than 25 feet use 3/8’’ O.D.
copper tubing and use and adapter for connection as necessary.
Operation
1. Ensure the O/On toggle switch on back of unit is in the o (down) position .
2. As soon as the unit is plugged in, it will begin to ll. It will automatically stop when the water has reached the proper level.
3. Turn O/On toggle switch on the rear to the On (up) position.
4. Allow the dispenser to reach the proper temperature. This will occur in approximately 20 minutes. The green pilot light will
come on when the unit is ready.
5. Place an empty cup or container directly under the faucet and pull faucet handle towards you. When nished, release the handle.
Note: Due to water expansion during initial heat up on installation, excess water may ow from the drain spout.

Installation
Operation
1.Place hot water dispenser on sturdy, level, heat resistant, non-flammable surface near power supply and
water supply. Do not connect water line or power cord at this time.
2.Form three coils of ¼’’ O.D. copper tubing or high pressure flexible hose (not supplied) and connect to the
cold water line. The coils allow the dispenser to be moved easily for cleaning and servicing. Flush incoming
water in the line. See diagram Fig. 1
Note: It is recommended that an optional shut off valve and water filter be installed the water line at this time.
3.Attach the water line to the water inlet fitting located on the rear of the dispenser. Hold the dispenser water
inlet fitting with a wrench when tightening the water line.
4.Turn on water supply.
5.Check for water leaks at water inlet. Tighten fittings if necessary.
6.Connect power supply chord into proper power supply as indicated on electrical nameplate. Make sure ‘OFF/
ON’ toggle switch is in the OFF position before connecting to the power supply.
Note: This dispenser is designed to operate with a water pressure between 30 to 80 PSI. When water pressure

3.When the water fills into the adequate level, the heater will begin to work.
4.Allow the dispenser to reach the proper temperature. This will occur in approximately 20 minutes. The yellow light will
come off when the unit is ready.
5.Place an empty cup or container directly under the faucet and pull faucet handle towards you. When finished, release the
handle.
Note: Due to water expansion during initial heat up on installation, excess water may flow from the drain spout. We
recommend that when this unit is not in use overnight or for extended periods of time, that OFF/ON toggle switch be turned
to the OFF position.

Cleaning
Regular cleaning ensures long life. For dirt or smudges on the dispenser’s exterior, a damp cloth will suce. If necessary,
a non-corrosive, non-abrasive detergent or cleaner may be used. Be sure to unplug the appliance before cleaning.
Adjusting The Thermostat
1. Turn the “o/on” toggle switch o, unplug, and allow to cool before cleaning.
2. Do not use abrasive or harsh cleaners as they may damage the nish of this dispenser.
3. Only those persons trained and qualied in equipment repair should attempt to open and clean the inside
of this dispenser.

2. Remove the rear cover and push the red reset button.
3. Replace Snap Plug, connect the power supply cord and turn ON the O/On toggle switch. Allow the Dispenser to reach proper
temperature.
Resetting the Hi-Limit Thermostat
Under no circumstance should the hi-limit thermostat
be bypassed. In the event of failure the hi-limit thermostat
should be replaced.

1. Turn the “o/on” toggle switch o, unplug, and allow the dispenser to cool before servicing.
2. Remove the rear cover .
3. Locate the thermostat, turn the thermostat adjustment screw. Do not adjust more than 1/8 of a turn at a time. g.2
4. Turn screw clockwise to increase the temperature and counter clockwise to reduce the temperature. Fig.3
5. Replace the rear cover, connect the power supplycord and turn the “o/on” toggle switch on.
6. Allow the dispenser to reach full temperature before checking the water temperature. To assure the ideal temperature of 190°F
(88°C) to 205°F (96°C), measure the temperature directly under the faucet.
7. If the water temperature is still not within the proper range, repeat adjustment steps again until the proper temperature is
reached.
These adjustments should be performed during installation only. Operators should refer to the operating
instructions only

Avantco makes no other warranes, express or implied, statutory or otherwise, and HEREBY DISCLAIMS ALL IMPLIED
WARRANTIES, INCLUDING THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND OF FITNESS FOR A
PARTICULAR PURPOSE.
This Limited Warranty does not cover:
• Equipment sold or used outside the Connental United States
• Use of unltered water (if applicable)
• Avantco has the sole discreon on wearable parts not covered under warranty
• Equipment not purchased directly from an authorized dealer
• Equipment used for residenal or other non-commercial purposes
• Equipment that has been altered, modied, or repaired by anyone other than an authorized service agency
• Equipment where the serial number plate has been removed or altered.
• Damage or failure due to improper installaon, improper ulity connecon or supply, and issues resulng from
improper venlaon or airow.
• Defects and damage due to improper maintenance, wear and tear, misuse, abuse, vandalism, or Act of God.
Any acon for breach of this warranty must be commenced within 6 months of the date on which the breach occurred.
No modicaon of this warranty, or waiver of its terms, shall be eecve unless approved in a wring signed by the
pares. The laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania shall govern this warranty and the pares’ rights and dues under
it. Avantco shall not under any circumstances be liable for incidental or consequenal damages of any kind, including but
not limited to loss of prots.
Avantco warrants its equipment to be free from defects in material and workmanship for a period of 6 months. This is the
sole and exclusive warranty made by Avantco covering your Avantco brand equipment. A claim under this warranty must
be made within 6 months from the date of purchase of the equipment. Only the equipment’s original purchaser may make
a claim under this warranty. Avantco reserves the right to approve or deny the repair or replacement of any part or repair
request. The warranty is not transferable. Avantco Equipment installed in/on a food truck or trailer will be limited to a period
of 30 days from the original date of purchase.
