Remote Control Battery Safety Information
- Store batteries in a cool and dry place.

There are2 types of speakerphonecanextendedfromtheVC520 prospeakerphone.
Please purchasetheextendedspeakerphonefromtheAVer.
[Note] The speakerphonecables w illbeincludedw henuser purchases theextendedspeakerphone.

Phone in Connection
Usercan connects themobile phone to Phone in porton the speakerphoneas a hands-freespeaker.
When deviceconnectwiththespeakerphone,the iconwilllight up in blue. Touch icon
willtemporarily disconnecttheconnectionof thedevicewithspeakerphone;touch iconagain
willresumethe connection.

Audio Signal Receive Range
The bestdistancefor speakerphonetoreceiveaudiosignal is within 7.5feetin radius.When
connectingtw oor more speakerphone, thedistancebetw eenthe speakerphones mustbe9 feet.

VC/CAM/VB series cameras. Youcan
useAVer PTZAppto set numbers
associatedwitheachcamera, andthen
selectw hichcamerayouw ouldlike to
controlusingthe remote.
[Note] If you only haveone camera
that requires noadditional setting,the
defaultis camera1.
If camera 2 or 3 isselected, theremote
willbe unable tocontrolthe camera.
In this case,pleasepress camera1 on
your remote.
2. Camera Direction
Control
Use the directionalbuttons on the
remote to controlthe directionof the
camera. Press the directionalbutton to
move the cameraor press andhold to
continuously pan or tilt.
3. SmartFrame
One-clickautomatic FOV adjustment
to fitall participants.
Press and hold on theremote
for 2seconds tosw itchthe
SmartFraming functionbetweenauto
and manual mode; a message (as
figureshown)will display on thescreen
to indicate autoor manual mode.
[Note] Whilein the videoconference
meeting, participants mustfacethe
camera for proper facedetection
(SmartFrame). Side facialprofiles are
not detectable.

1. To save the camera at the desired
position, press and hold the preset
button until the "saved message" is
displayed on the PTZApp video
screen or other video apps. Select
presetpositionbutton 0 to 9 to save.
2. Press “preset”+ “preset position
button”(0 ~ 9) to move the camera
to the savedposition.

conjunctionwiththePreset buttonto
savepositions. There area total of
10 presets.

Installation
Device Connection
1. Connect thecamerato poweroutlet.
2. Connect the camerawith speakerphone through the speakerphone cable which included
in package.
[Note]
The speakerphoneportof the camera andcamera portof the speakerphoneportareall mark in
blue.
When connect tospeakerphone,pleaseremove theback cover of speakerphonefor cable
connection.To removethe backcover,justpull out the backcover fromthespeakerphoneunit.

3. Connect othernecessary cables.
[Note]
USB and RS232 cable needto securethecable withattachedscrew.
Make sure the cable is well connected to the connector on the camera before securing the
cable.
4. Connect thecamerato the computer.
[Note] Usethe USB 3.0 cable thatis included in package.
