I. Important Precautions
ReadthefollowingsafetyprecauonsbeforeoperangorservicingyourAxialIndustrial
Turntable:
 LockouttheelectricalBEFOREanyserviceormaintenanceispreformedtothis
equipment.
 Preventpersonnelfromleaningonequipmentandcontainersorplacementof
arms,hands,legsoranybodilymemberinpinchpointareasthroughoutthe
system.
 Instructpersonnelintheproperplacementofproductontheturntable.Failureto
placecontainersorloadsintheengineeredlocaonsmayhindertheoperaonof
theturntableorcausestructuraldamage.
 Placestopbarriersattheforktruckloadingarea(s)topreventdamagetoturntable.
 Neveroperatetheturntablewithouttheprovidedcoversandguardsproperly
installed.
 Neverwalkorclimbintoorontotheturntablewhileitisinmoon.
 Neveroperatesystemsensorsbyhand.
 Neverrestorepowerorairpressuretothecontrolsystemwithoutfirstclearingthe
turntableofpersonnel,toolsorotherobstrucons.
 NeveraltertheequipmentinanywayunlessauthorizedbyaqualifiedAxial/Align
ProduconSystemsemployee.
II. Installation and Start-Up
1.Reviewthespecificaonssecontobecomefamiliarwiththefeaturesofthis
equipment.
2.Inspecttheequipmentforpossibledamageinshipmentorunpacking.Pleasecontact
Axial/AlignProduconSystemsifthereisanydamagetotheunitthatmayhinderthe
operaon.
3.Beforeliingtheturntable,ensurethattheshippingboltsareinplaceandghtened
down.
4.LitheturntableONLYusingthe¾‐10UNCliingholesprovidedulizinga4‐point
slingorchainarrangementandsuitableliingeyes,sizedfortheload.

5.Placetheunitinthedesiredlocaononaclean,level,flatfloor.
a.Sweepthefloorareatoremovedirtanddebris.
b.Thefloormustbelevelandflatwithin±1/8”overa10’span.Floorundulaons
outsidethisspecificaonmayimpacttheoperaonoftheturntableandshould
beremedied.Theturntablebaseneedstobefullysupportedunderneathto
transfertheloading.
c.Thefloormustbeaconcretesurfaceorequivalentthatiscapableofsupporng
theloadoftheturntableplustheloadoftheproduct.
6.Drillthefloorattheholelocaonsontheouteredgeoftheturntablebaseplate.
7.Install1”diameterconcreteanchors(epoxystudanchorsarepreferredinconcrete)
orsuitableequivalenttosecuretheturntablebasetothefloor.Thereare16holes.
8.Ifequipped,posionthecontrolstandinthedesiredlocaonandlagtothefloor
usingsuitableanchors.
9.Installelectricalcontrollinestomotor,brake,andencoder.Conneconsareall
locatedonthedrivemotor.
10.Connectthe480voltelectricalsupplylinetothecontrolstandenclosure.

VI. Maintenance
Interval Inspection Corrective Action
Lubricate main drive gear and
pinion with gear lube.
Grease with EP1 by brushing
or wiping onto gear.
Inspect drive gear for wear or
looseness.
Repair as required.
Inspect base lag-down bolts for
tightness.
Repair as required.
Inspect turntable for cracks. Repair as required.
Check gear reducer oil level. Fill as required.
Every 6 months Lubricate center bearing with
EP grease.
Grease zerks are accessible
from the outside.

freeofdefectsinmaterialandworkmanshipforaperiodofone(1)
yearfromdateofshipmenttotheoriginalpurchaseror2,000oper‐
anghours,whichevercomesfirst,providedpurchasergivesAPS
promptnoceoftheallegeddefect(s)and,ifrequestedbyAPS,
returnsthedefecveitems,freightprepaid(F.O.B.APS’splantin
Decatur,Illinois).THEWARRANTIESSETFORTHHEREINAREIN
LIEUOFALLOTHERWARRANTIES,WHETHEREXPRESSOR
IMPLIED,INCLUDING,WITHOUTLIMITATION,FITNESSFOR
APARTICULARPURPOSEANDMERCHANTABILITY,ALLOF
WHICHAREEXPRESSLYDISCLAIMED.
Foranyclaimunderwarranty,APSmayelecttorepairorreplace
thedefecvecomponentorcomponents.Allclaimsforwarranty
mustbeaccompaniedbyaReturnGoodsAuthorizaonnumber,
whichmaybeobtainedfromAPS.Thiswarrantydoesnotcover,
andAPSisnotresponsiblefor,anylabororotherexpensefor
inspecons,removalorreinstallaonofcomponentsorproducts.
Thiswarrantydoesnotcover,amongotherthings,damages
resulngfromforeignmaerorwater,negligence,accident,
unreasonableuse,abuseormisuse,alteraonsnotauthorizedby
APS,failuretoprovidereasonableandnecessarymaintenanceor
failuretofollowoperanginstruconsorloadlimits.INADDITION,
INNOEVENTSHALLAPSBELIABLEFORANYSPECIAL,INDIRECT,
INCIDENTAL,CONSEQUENTIALORCONTINGENTDAMAGES,
WHETHERORNOTITHASBEENADVISEDOFTHEPOSSIBILITYOF
SUCHDAMAGES.
APSmakesnorepresentaonthattheproductcomplieswithlocal,
