A.Cautions and Warnings
1. Placement
Topreventfire or electric shock, donot expose this appliance
torainormoisture. Donot place theset onanunstable cart,
stand, tripod, bracket or table to prevent it fromfalling. Keep the
unit away from strong magnets,heat sources,direct sunlight,
excessive dust.Ifthe unit is brought directly from acold toa
warmlocation,moisture may condenseinside the unit. When
you moveit from acoldtoawarm location, wait for aboutone
hour before operating the unit, or remove the discand leave the
unitturned on untilthe moisture evaporates.
2.Installation
Ensurethat theDVD player and monitors areinstalled in
accordancewiththe instructions and illustrations providedin
this manual.
3. Caution
Do not push objectsof any kind into the unit through openings;
do not spill orsprayliquidofanykind onorinthe system (this
may result in afire or electricshock). Donot place anything
heavy onthe unit. Toensureproperventilationandproper
operation, never cover or block the slots and openings with a
clothor other material. Keep the unit away from anopen flame
such as fire,candle etc.Inordertoprotect theenvironment,
please dispose the battery properly. Do notuse the unit in
temperatures higher than 35 degreesCelsius.

4.Disassemble
Do not attempt to disassemble the cabinet. There is arisk of
electric shock and/or exposure to Laser Radiation.Contactquali-
fiedservicepersonnel ifyoursystem needs repair.
5. Cleaning Unit
When cleaning, make surethe system is unpluggedfromthe
power source. Do not use liquid cleaners or aerosol cleaners.
Use acloth lightly dampened with water for cleaning the exterior
of thesystemonly.
6. Disc
Do notuse irregularly shaped discssuch as heartor star-shaped
discs as theymay cause the unit tomalfunction. Do not stick
paper, tape or glue on the disc. Do notexposethe disc todirect
sunlight or heat sources. Do not touch the surface of disc. Handle
the disc by its edge.Clean the discby wipingthe disc fromthe
center outwithacleaningcloth.Remove thedisc from the unit
and store it initscaseafter playing.Someplayback operations
of discs may be intentionallyfixed by software producers. Since
this unit plays discs according tothe disc contents the software
producers designed, some playback features may not be
available.Alsoreferto the instructionssuppliedwiththe discs.
7. Regional Coding
BoththeDVDplayerand disc arecodedbyregion. Thesere-
gional codesmust match in order for the disc toplay. Ifthe codes
don tmatch,thedisc won tplay.This unit scode isregion1.
DVD swithother regionalcodescannotbe played inthis unit.

B.UnitView
1.Front
1) DC Input Jack:Connects to the ACadapter or Car cigarettelighter
adapter.
2) Charge indicator LED:Lights red when the battery is charging.
3) AVout Jack: Connect the A/V cabletoexternal A/V device.
4) Headphone Jack:Provides the output signalfor headphones.
Disables internalspeakers.
5) VolumeUp/Down control: Adjust the volume.
6)PowerOn/OffSwitch:Turnsthe playeronoroff.

3. DVD
1)LCDscreenshutoffswitch: Turns offtheLCDscreen.
2)NextButton:Skiptothe next titles,chapters,or tracks.
3)PreviousButton:Skiptothe previoustitles,chapters,or tracks.
4)Stop Button:Stop the playback ofthe DVD or CD.
5)Menu Button: Acessesthe DVDmenu and the Title menu.Pressing
for more than 3 seconds to return to the title menu.
Note:
MENU button is a complexbutton.When the unit has no disc or the unit
is in OPEN state,the function of this button is thesameas the SETUP
button on the remote.
6)Wide Button:Switchesthe LCD screen between the 16:9and 4:3
screen displays.
7)Up/Down/Right/Left/Play/Pause Button:Navigateon-screen menus.
The Play/Pausebutton confirms input and plays or pauses the DVD
or CD.

C.Powering and Installation
1. Poweringthesystem indoors
Plug one end ofthe ACto DC adapter into the DC jackon the side of
the mainunit, thenplug the otherend intothe 100~240VACpower
outlet.
2.Powering the system in acar
Plug one endofthecigarette lighteradapter intotheDCjack on theunit,
then plug the other end into the cigarette lighter socket.
Note: Unplugthe apparatus from the power source when notin use
for an extended period of time.
3. Built-inBattery
Plug one end of the AC to DC adapter into the DC jack on the side of
the player,then plugthe otherendinto the 100~240VAC power
outlet.Make suretheplayer isin “PowerOff”mode.Once fullycharged,
the indicated LEDwillturn off.Atthis point you may remove the wall
plug.
Note:Each full recharge takes approximately five hours and one full
charge canprovide powertotheplayerabout 2.5hours.

Press to access the SETUP menu screen.

Press to navigate up on a menu.

Skip to the previous titles,chapters,or tracks.

Use to confirm selections on a menu screen.

at 2,4,8,16,32 times normal speed.

Start or pause playing a disc.

Select the subtitle language of the disc.

13) A-B Repeat
Repeat playback in your favorite section of a disc.
14) Right/FF
Press to navigate right on a menu./Scan forward at
2,4,8,16,32 times normal speed.
15) 1/ALL Repeat
Repeat a chapter or title of a DVD.
16) Stop
Stop the playback of the DVD or CD.
17) Menu
Acesses the DVD menu and the Title menu.
18) Audio *
Select audio languages of the disc.
19) Angle *
Select viewing angles of the disc.

E. Setup
1. General Setup Page
1) Press ‘SETUP todisplay the Main screen ofthe Setup Menu on the
screen and “General Setup Page”appears.Atthe sametime,“ ” is
highlighted.Press ‘SETUP again toexitthe SetupMenu and theunitwill
resume it s last playback mode.
2) Press the ENTERbutton, “TV Display”is highlighted.
3) Press the or button to selectthe other menus ingeneral setup
page.
4) Press to enter the sub menu.
5) Press the or button to selectthe sub menu and press the
ENTER to confirm your selection.
6) Repeat steps3-5 for other menus.
Note: Press to return the previous menu.
a)TVDisplay
* Normal/PS:When the player outputssignaltoanormalTV,anormal
picture is shown on the full screen.
*Normal/LB:When the player outputssignaltoanormal TV, anormal
picture is shown on the screen withablack stripat boththe top and
bottom of the screen.
*Wide:When the player outputs signal to awide screen TV, awide
picture is shown on the full screen.
b).Angle Mark
*On:The screen will show the anglemark icon. (*If an angleoption is
available).
*Off: The screen will not display the Angle Mark
NOTE: Notall discs containabove features. The above featuresare
disc dependent.
c).OSDLang
You can choose one out of several different languages as the OSD setup
language

d). Screen Saver
*On: Enables screen saver
*NOTE: The DVD player will enter the Screen Saver mode after approxi-
mately five minutes if the same image remainson the screen.
*Off: Disablesscreen saver(off)
e).LastMemory
*On:The unit will return to the last position on the disc.
*Off: The unitwill not return to the last position on the disc.
*NOTE: The Last position memory function only effectwhen the DVD in
the Open/Close state.
2.Video QualitySetup
1)InSetupmenu, Press the or button toselect “Video QualitySetup”
and is highlighted.PressENTERto enter the video qualitysetup
page.
2)Press the ENTER button, “Brightness”is highlighted.
3)Pressthe or button to selectthe other menus in the video
quality setup page.
4) Press to enter the sub menu.
5) Press the or button to adjust the quantity and press the ENTER
toconfirmyour selection.
6) Repeat steps3-5 for other menus.
Note: Press ENTER to return theprevious menu.

3. Password
In Setup menu, Press the or button to select “Password Setup
Page”and is highlighted. Press ENTER to enter the password page.
Press ENTER twice toenter the Password Change Page. Input the Old
Password or the DefaultPassword, the New Password, and Confirmed
the NewPassword. PressENTER to confirmthe change.
Note: Thedefault passwordis 3308.
4.Preference Page
1)In Setupmenu, Press the or buttontoselect “Preference Page”and
is highlighted. Press ENTER to enter thePreference Page.
2)Press the ENTER button, “Audio”is highlighted.
3)Pressthe or button to selectthe other menus in preference
page.
4) Press to enter the sub menu.
5) Press the or button to select the sub menu and press the ENTER
toconfirmyour selection.
6) Repeat steps3-5 for other menus.
Note: Press to return the previous menu.

Note: Language and subtitle selection are only available for discs that
are recorded in the above listed languages.If the selected language
is notavailable, the player will play and display on the screen the
original recorded language contained in the disc.

d) Parental
Select ‘Parental by pressing the or button in the preference page.
And Press to enter the sub menu. Selectthe parental level you
desire using or button for discswith lock-out function or multiple
rating levels.Theseare listed fromthe lowestlevel (1 KidSafe) to the
highest level (8 Adult). Press ENTER and input 4 digitpassword,then
press ENTER again to confirmthe parental level setting.

NOTE: The level of 8Adultis the factory default.
e) Default
Select ‘Default by pressing the or button inpreferencepage.And
Press to enter the submenu. Press ENTER to make the setting
return tothe factory-set mode.
NOTE: The parentalsetting is not affected by the default reset
function.The master password is 3308.This password is always
effectiveevenafteryou haveselected yourown passwordand
changed it.Toavoidthe possibilityof others using the default
password tosetthe parentalleveland change the password,you
can record thismaster password inanother area and delete it from
this manual. Some discs can be limited depending on the age of users
whilesomediscs cannot.

1. The disc ssoftware restricts it.
2. The disc ssoftware doesn tsupport the feature (e.g.,angles)
