Thankyouforchoosing the portable DVD player. Themain featuresincludea7" Wide
Screen (16:9 Aspect Ratio) Liquid Crystal Display(LCD)monitorand a DVD player.
The unitapplies the lateststate of the artelectronics and is designedforuse in hotels,
officesoryour home. Theunit is constructedto provide yearsofreliable,trouble-free
service, and iscompact so that you can takeit with you anywhereand is designed for
quickandeasyinstallation.Pleaseread the entireinstruction manual suppliedwith this
productpriorto using. The documentation will assist you in installing the system
properlyto obtain the bestequipmentperformance. Please save thismanual for later
use.
B. Cautions and Warnings
1Placement
To prevent fireor electricshock, do not expose thisapplianceto rain ormoisture.Do
notplace the set onan unstable cart,stand, tripod,bracket ortable to prevent it from
falling.Keep the unit awayfromstrong magnets, heat sources, direct sunlightand
excessive dust.Ifthe unitis brought directlyfromacold to a warmlocation, moisture
may condense inside the unit.Whenyou move itfromacold to awarmlocation,wait for
aboutone hour before operating theunit,or remove the discand leave theunit turned
onuntilthe moisture evaporates.
2Installation
Ensure that the portable DVD player is installed in accordance with the instructions and
illustrations provided in this manual.
3Caution
Donot push objectsofanykind into the unit through openings; do not spill or spray
liquid ofanykind on or in thesystem(thismayresultin afire orelectricshock).Do not
place anythingheavyon the unit.To ensureproper ventilation andproper operation,
nevercoverorblockopenings withacloth orothermaterial. Keep theunit away froman
open flamesuch asfire,candle etc. Do not use the unit in temperatureshigherthan 104
degrees Fahrenheit or40 degrees Celsius.

4. Disassemble
Donot attempt to disassemble thecabinet.There is a riskofelectricshock and/or
exposureto Laser Radiation.Contact qualifiedservice personnel ifyour system
needs repair.
5. Cleaning Unit
Whencleaning, makesure the systemis unpluggedfromthe powersource. Do not
useliquid cleanersoraerosol cleaners. Use a cloth lightly dampened withwater for
cleaning the exterior ofthe systemonly.
6. Disc
Donot use irregularlyshaped discs suchasheartor star-shaped discs astheymay
cause the unit to malfunction. Do not stick paper, tape or glue on the disc.Do not
expose thediscto direct sunlightor heatsources. Donot touchthe surface ofdisc.
Handle the disc byits edge. Cleanthe disc bywiping the disc fromthe center out
with a cleaning cloth. Removethe disc fromthe unitand store it in itscase after
playing.Someplaybackoperations ofdiscsmaybe intentionally fixed bysoftware
producers.Sincethis unitplaysdiscs according to the disc contents the software
producers designed, some playbackfeaturesmaynot be available. Also referto the
instructionssupplied with the discs.
7. Regional Coding
Both the DVD player and disc are codedbyregion.These regional codesmust
match in orderfor the disc to play. Ifthe codesdont match, the disc won tplay.This
unitscode is region1. DVD with other regional codescannotbe played in this unit.

2) Power/Charge LED: Lightis green when the player is on.
Lightis red when the batteryis charging.
3)Open Switch: Openthe DVDcompartment.

4)AC to DC Jack:Insert either the ACadapter or the vehicle adapter.
5)AV outJack: Insertthe A/V cable to additional monitors.
6)Headphone Jack:Provides the output signal for headphones.
Insert the headphone will disable the internal speakers.
7)VolumeUp/Down Control: Adjustthevolume.
8)Power On/OffSwitch: Slide to turn the player on oroff.

9) LCDshut off: Turns the LCDscreen off.
10) Stop Button: Press once to stop playback. The player remembers where you
stoppedplaybackandyoucan restartplaying atthispoint.Press
twiceto stop playback. The playerdoesnot remember where you
stoppedplayback.
11) Pause Button: Still thepicture.
12) PlayButton: Start playing adisc.
13) Previous Button: Go to the previouschapter, track,orsceneduring playback.
14) Next Button: Goto the next chapter,track, orscene during playback.
15)Wide Button: Switch the LCD displaybetween 4:3 and 16:9 displayratio.
16) Menu Button: Showthe DVD rootmenu.
17) Up/Down/Left/Right/OK Buttons: Usedto highlight and confirmselections. Or
adjustLCD brightnessduring playback.

F.Powering and Installation
1. Powering the systemindoors
Plug one end ofthe AC toDCadapterintothe DCjack on the side ofthe main unit,then
plug the other end into the 100~240V ACpoweroutlet.
2. Built-inBattery
Plug oneend ofthe AC to DCadapter intotheDCjack onthe side ofthemainunit,then
plugthe other endintothe 100~240VACpower outlet leave PowerON/OFF toOFF.At
this time, the LED isred, the unitischarging. When batteryischarged full,the LED
will turnoff.At this point you mayremove the wall plug and stop charging.
Note:Each full recharge takesapproximately5hoursand one fullchargecan provide
power to the playerforat least 2hours. Makesure you charge the batteryat least
8 hours prior to connecting ittothe player.
G.Loading and Playing aDisc
a. Afterconnecting powerto the unit, poweron “DVD player”with the power switch.
The power indicator will light (green).
b. Openthe disc traybypressing OPEN switch, and placeadisc into thetraywith the
label side facing up.
c. Close the traybypressing the “PRESS”placeprinted on it.The unitwill load the disc
and start playing.
d. Rotate VOLUMEto adjust the DVD playersvolume.
e. To stop playing a disc, pressSTOP.

H. Setup
1. General Setup Page
1) Press ‘SETUP to displaythe Main screen ofthe Setup Menu on thescreen and
“GeneralSetup Page”appears.At the sametime, “General”is highlighted. Press
‘SETUP again to exitthe Setup Menu and the unit will resume its last playback mode.
2) Press the ENTER button, “TV Display”is highlighted.
3) Press the or button to select the other menusin general setup page.
4) Press to enter the sub menu.
5) Press the or buttonto select the sub menu and pressthe ENTER to confirm
yourselection.
6) Repeat steps 3-5 for othermenus.
Note:Press to returnthe previousmenu.
a) TV Display
*Normal/PS: Whenthe player outputs signal to anormal TV, anormal picture is shownon
the full screen.
*Normal/LB:When the player outputssignal toanormal TV, anormal picture isshownon
the screen with ablackstrip at both the top and bottomofthe screen.
*Wide: When the player outputssignal to awidescreen TV, awide picture isshownon
the full screen.
b).Angle Mark
* On: Thescreen will show the angle markicon.(*Ifan angle optionis available).
* Off: The screen will not displaythe Angle Mark
NOTE: Notalldiscs contain above features. The above features are disc dependent.
c).OSDLang
You can choose one outofseveral different languages as the OSDsetup language.
d). ScreenSaver
*On: Enablesscreen saver
*NOTE: The DVD player will enter the Screen Savermode afterapproximatelyfive
minutes ifthesameimage remains onthe screen.
*Off:Disablesscreen saver (off)
e). LastMemory
*On: Theunit will return to the last position on the disc.
*Off:Theunit will notreturn to the last position onthe disc.
*NOTE: The Lastposition memoryfunctiononlyeffect when theDVDin the Open/Close
state.

2. Video Quality Setup
1) InSetup menu, Press the or button toselect “Panel QualitySetup”and “Video”
is highlighted.
2) Press the ENTER button, “Brightness”is highlighted.
3) Press the or button to selecttheothermenus in the Panel QualitySetup page.
4) Press to enter the sub menu.
5) Press the or button toadjustthe brightnessand press the ENTER toconfirm
yourselection.
6) Repeat steps 3-5 for othermenus.
Note:Press ENTER toreturn thepreviousmenu.

3. Password
In Setupmenu, Pressthe or button to select “Password Setup Page”and
“Password”is highlighted. PressENTER to enter the passwordpage. Press ENTER
twiceto enter the Password Change Page.Input the Old Password or the Default
Password,the NewPassword,and Confirmedthe New Password. Press ENTER to
confirmthe change.
Note: The default password is3308.
4. Preference Page
1) With no disc in the player.In Setup menu,Press the or button to select
“Preference Page”and “Preference”ishighlighted.
2) Press the ENTER button, “Audio”is highlighted.
3) Press the or button to selecttheothermenus in preference page.
4) Press to enter the sub menu.
5) Press the or buttonto select the sub menu and pressthe ENTER
to confirmyour selection.
6) Repeat steps 3-5 for othermenus.
Note: Press to return the previous menu.

Note: Languageandsubtitleselection are onlyavailable for discs that arerecordedin the
above listed languages. Ifthe selected language is not available, the playerwill play and
display on the screen the original recorded language containedin thedisc.

c) Parental
Select ‘Parental by pressing the or button inthe preference page. And Press
to enterthe sub menu. Select the parental levelyou desire using or button
for discs with lock-out functionormultiple rating levels. These are listed fromthe
lowest level(1 G) to the highest level (6 Disable).PressENTER and input4 digit \
passwords, then press ENTER againto confirmthe parental level setting.

2 PG (Parental guidance suggested)
3 PG-13 (Parentsstronglycautioned)
4 R (Restricted)
5 NC-17 (Noone 17 andunderadmitted)
6 Disable (Adult)
NOTE: The level of “6 Disable”is the factorydefault.
d) Default
Select ‘Default by pressing the or button inpreference page.And
Press to enterthe sub menu. Press ENTER tomakethe setting
return to the factory-set mode.
NOTE: The parental settingisnot affected bythe default reset function. Themaster
passwordis 3308.This password is alwayseffective even after you have selected your
own password and changed it.Toavoid the possibility ofothersusingthe default
passwordto setthe parental level and changethe password, you can record this master
passwordin another areaanddelete it fromthis manual.Somediscs can be limited
depending on the age of users while somediscs cannot.

I.Menu
ADVD is divided into sections called titles and chapters. When you playaDVD, a
rootmenu of the disc willappear on the screen ofyour TV orMonitor.The contents
ofthe menu varyfromdiscto disc. Press MENUduring playbacktodisplaythe
menu.SomeDVDs onlyallowyou toselect disc playbackoptions using the DVD
root menu.
J. Display
1. PLAYING TIME AND REMAINING TIME
a. During playbackpress the ‘DISPLAY button to displaythe currentTitle
Number (1), the total Number ofTitles (2), the current Chapter Number (3),the
total Number ofChapters (4),and the Playing elapsed Time for the title (5).

2. ANGLE
During playbackof adisc,press ‘ANGLE to displaythe available angles for discs
containing multi-angles*,with the current angle number (1) and the total number of
angles (2) displaying.Press ‘ANGLE to select another angle,then pressagain to
exitand return to the normalviewing angle.
*NOTE:Not all discscontain thisfeature.

3. SUBTITLE
During discplaybackpress ‘SUBTITLE toselect the subtitlelanguage youdesire*,
withthe current SubtitleLanguage Number (1) and the total Number ofSubtitle
Languages (2) displayed.If there are multiple languages press ‘SUBTITLE againto
selectanother subtitle language. To turn subtitles OFF,press the ‘SUBTITLE
button until ‘Subtitle Off isdisplayed.TheSubtitle displaywill disappear
automaticallyifthe ‘SUBTITLE button isnotpressed again within3 seconds.

4. AUDIO
During playbackpress ‘AUDIO toselectthe audio language you desire*,with the
current Audio Channel Number (1)and the total number ofAudio Channels(2)
displayed. PressAUDIOagain toselectanother audio language.The audiodisplay
will disappear automaticallyifthe ‘AUDIO button is not pressed within for 3
seconds.

5. ZOOM
During playback press ‘ZOOM to enlarge the pictureby2x, 3x or 4X withthe
current zoommultiple.
(1)Press “zoom”one time ,the picture will be enlarged 2X.
(2)Press “zoom”a second time,the picture willbeenlarged 3X.
(3)Press “zoom”a 3rd time,the picture willbe enlarged 4X.
(4)Press “zoom”a 4th time ,the picture willreturn to normal size.

K. Playing MP3 Discs
MP3 isa format forstoring digital audio. An audio CD-qualitysong is compressed into
theMP3 formatwith verylittle lossofaudio quality whiletaking up much lessdisc
space.CD-R /RWdiscs that havebeen encodedin MP3 formatarecompatiblewith
thissystem.
WhenaMP3 discisinserted intothe unit,the menu screenappears automatically.
Youcan use the menuscreentoselect your desired songsorthe systemplaysthe
songs in theorderthey were burnedonto the disc.
1. Pressthe or button to choose afolderfromthefolderlist on the Mp3 Menu
Screen.
2.PressENTERto select the highlighted folder.The songsavailable underthe
folder will be listed.
3. Use or button to choose asong fromthe list. Press ENTERtoselect and
begin playback of thehighlighted song.
4. Usethe (NEXT) buttonto move to the next song.Press the (PREVIOUS)
buttontwice tomove to the beginning of theprevioussong.

USING THE REPEATFEATURE
The default mode for theRepeatfeature isOFF. Pressing 1/ALLREPEAT consecutively
changes the repeatoptions:
•Repeat One (repeatplayback of a song)
•Repeat Folder (repeatplaybackofa specificfolder)
•Repeat Off (normal playback)
The repeat modechangesasyou toggle through theoptions.The selected repeat mode
loops repeatedlyuntil you turn itoff.
The operation of CD discs is the same with Mp3.
