condenseinsidetheunit. Whenyoumoveit fromacold toawarm
location,wait forabout onehourtillthemoistureevaporatesbefore
operatingtheunit.
2. Installation
EnsurethattheportableDVDplayerisinstalledinaccordancewith
theinstructionsandillustrationsprovided inthismanual.
3. Caution
Donotpushobjectsof anykindintotheunit throughopenings;do
notspill orsprayliquidof anykindon orinthesystem(thismayresult
in afireorelectricshock). Donotplaceanythingheavyon theunit.
Toensureproperventilationand properoperation,nevercoveror
blockopeningswithaclothorothermaterial.Keep theunitaway
froman openflamesuchasfire, candleetc. Donotusetheunit in
temperatureshigherthan 104degreesFahrenheitor40 degrees
Celsius.
4. Disc
Donotuseirregularlyshapeddiscs suchasheartorstar-shaped
discs astheymaycausetheunit tomalfunction. Donot stickpaper,
tapeorglueonthedisc. Donotexposethedisc todirect sunlightor
heat sources. Donot touchthesurfaceofdisc. Handlethedisc by
itsedge. Cleanthedisc bywipingthedisc fromthecenteroutwith
acleaningcloth. Removethedisc fromtheunitandstoreitin itscase
afterplaying. Someplaybackoperationsof discs maybeintention-
allyfixedbysoftwareproducers.Sincethisunitplaysdiscs accord-
ingtothedisc contentsthesoftwareproducersdesigned, some
playbackfeaturesmaynotbeavailable.Alsorefertotheinstructions
supplied withthediscs.
