A.Introduction
Thank you for choosing the portableDVD player.The main features
include7" Wide Screen (16:9Aspect Ratio) LiquidCrystalDisplay
(LCD)monitor andDVDplayer. Please read the entire instruction
manual supplied withthis product prior to using.The documentation
will assist youin installingthe systemproperlyto obtain thebest
equipment performance. Please savethis manual for later use.
B. Cautions and Warnings
1. Placement
Toprevent fireor electricshock,do not expose this applianceto
rain or moisture. Do not place the set on an unstable cart, stand,
tripod,bracketor table topreventitfromfalling.Keep the unitaway
from strongmagnets,heatsources,direct sunlight,excessive
dust. Ifthe unit is brought directly from a cold to a warm location,
moisturemay condenseinside theunit. When youmove itfroma
cold to a warm location,wait forabout one hour before operating
the unit, or remove the disc and leave the unit turned on until the
moisture evaporates.
2. Installation
Ensurethat theDVDplayerandmonitorsareinstalledin accordance
with the instructions and illustrations provided in this manual.
3. Caution
Donotpushobjectsof anykindintothe unitthroughopenings;do
notspill or sprayliquid ofany kind on orin the system (this may
result in a fireor electricshock). Donot place anything heavyon
the unit. To ensure proper ventilation and proper operation, never
coverorblocktheslotsandopenings withaclothorothermaterial.
Keep the unit away from an open flame such as fire, candleetc. It
ishazardoustoreplacethe battery incorrectly.Replacethebattery
only with the same or equivalenttype, in order to protect the

environment,pleasedispose thebattery properly. Do notusethe
unit intemperatures higher than95 degrees Fahrenheit or35 de-
grees Celsius.
4.Disassemble
Do not attempt to disassemble the cabinet. There is ariskofelec-
tricshock and/orexposure to LaserRadiation. Contact qualified
service personnel ifyour system needs repair.
5.Cleaning Unit
Whencleaning,makesurethesystem isunplugged fromthepower
source. Donotuseliquid cleaners or aerosolcleaners. Usea cloth
lightly dampenedwith waterfor cleaningtheexterior ofthe system
only.
6. Disc
Do not use irregularlyshaped discs such asheart orstar-shaped
discs as theymay cause the unittomalfunction.Donotstickpaper,
tapeor glue on the disc. Do not expose thedisc to direct sunlight
or heat sources. Do not touchthe surface ofdisc. Handle thedisc
by itsedge. Cleanthedisc bywipingthedisc from the center out
with acleaning cloth. Removethe disc from the unit and store it in
its case after playing. Some playbackoperationsofdiscs maybe
intentionally fixed bysoftwareproducers. Since this unitplays discs
according to the disc contentsthesoftwareproducers designed,
some playbackfeatures maynot be available. Also refer to the in-
structionssuppliedwiththediscs.
7.Regional Coding
BoththeDVDplayeranddiscarecoded byregion.Theseregional
codesmustmatch in orderfor thedisc toplay. Ifthecodesdon t
match,thedisc wontplay.Thisunitscodeisregion 1. DVDswith
otherregional codes cannot be played in this unit.

1.Powering the system indoors
Plugone end oftheACtoDC adapterintotheDC Input jackonthe
right sideof the DVD player,then plugthe other endintothe
100~240VAC power receptacle.
2. Powering the systemin a car
Plug one end ofthecigarette lighter adapter into the DCInputjack
on the DVD player, thenplug theotherend into thecigarettelighter
socket.

2.Remote ControlView
F. Loading and Playing a Disc
a.After connecting powerto theunit, poweron “DVDplayer”with the
power switch and the Power LED will light.
b. Openthedisc tray by OPENSwitch,andplace a discintothe tray
with the label sidefacing up.
c. Close the trayand the unit will load the disc and start playing.
d.Rotate BRIGHTNESS and VOLUME toadjust the LCD s
brightness and DVD player s volume.
e.Tostop playinga disc, press STOP.

G. SETUP
Press SETUP to displaythe Mainscreenof theSETUP Menu on the
screen. Press SETUP againto exitthe SETUP Menu and the unit
will resume its last playbackmode.
1) Press SETUP,the GeneralSetup Page will display onscreen.
a).SelectTVDisplay usingtheUP/DOWN button,andthen pressRIGHT
toenter the submenu. Select the TV display mode on the screen
using UP/DOWN, and press ENTER to confirm the setting. Press
LEFT to return.
* Normal/PS: When theplayer outputs signal to a normal TV, and a
widepictureisshown on the full screen.Some ofthepicturesides will
not bevisible.
*Normal/LB: Whentheplayer outputs signal toanormal TV,and a
wide picture isshown on the screen with blackstrips at boththe top
andbottom ofthescreen.
*Wide:Whentheplayeroutputs signal to awide screenTV, a
wide picture is shown on the full screen.
b).AngleMark
*On:Thescreenwillshow the angle mark icon.(*If an angle option is
available).
* Off:The screen will not display theAngle Mark
NOTE: Not all discs contain abovefeatures. The abovefeatures are
discdependent.
c)OSD Lang
You can choose the language you desired as theOSD language.
d). ScreenSaver
*On:Enables screensaver
*NOTE: The DVD player will enter the Screen Saver mode after
approximatelyfiveminutes if the sameimage remains on thescreen.
*Off:Disablesscreensaver.

e). Last Memory
*On: The unit will return to the last position on the disc.
*Off: Theunit will not return to the last position on the disc.
Note:The Last position memory function onlyeffect when OPEN
operation andAVIn/Out switching.
2) Select VideoQualitySetup by using the LEFT/RIGHT button, press
ENTER to enter the video qualitysetup page.
Thispage contains:
1)Brightness 2)Contrast
3)Hue 4)Saturation
3).SelectPassword using theLEFT/RIGHT button, then press
the ENTER button to enter PasswordSetup Page.
Note: The defaultpasswordis3308.
4).With nodisc inside the player select Preference Page usingthe LEFT/
RIGHT button, then press ENTER to enter the preference page.
a. SelectAudio usingthe UP/DOWN button, then press RIGHT to
enter the submenu. Selectthe audio languageyou desireusing the
UP/DOWN button,thenpress ENTER to confirm the setting.Press
LEFT to return.
b. The same operation can be used inbelowmode:
Subtitle Disc Menu
Note: Language and subtitle selectionare only available for discs
that arerecorded intheabovelistedlanguages. Iftheselected
language isnotavailable,the playerwillplay anddisplay onthe
screen the original recorded languagecontainedin the disc.

c)Select Parental usingthe Up/Down button, then press RIGHT to
enter thesubmenu.
Select theparentallevel youdesireusing the UP/DOWN button for
discs with lock-out function or multiplerating levels. Theseare listed
from the lowest level (1 KIDSAFE) to thehighestlevel(8 ADULT).
Press ENTER and input4 digit password,then press ENTER again
to confirm theparental level setting.
NOTE: Thelevelof8 ADULT is the factorydefault.
d) Select Default Page using the UP/DOWN button, then press RIGHT
to enterthesubmenu.Press ENTER tomake thesetting returntothe
factoryset mode.
NOTE: The parental setting isnotaffected bythedefault reset
function.
NOTE: The Default Password is 3308. This passwordis always
effective even after you haveselectedyour ownpassword and
changedit. Toavoidthe possibility ofothersusingthedefault
password to set the parentallevel and changethe password, we
suggest youput thismanual ina locationnot reachable by children
inyour home. Some discs can be limited dependingon the ageof
userswhilesomediscs cannot.

I.Menu
A DVD is divided into sections called titlesandchapters. When you
play a DVD,aroot menu ofthedisc will appearonthescreen ofyour
TV orMonitor. Thecontentsof themenu varyfrom disc todisc.Press
MENU duringplaybackto display the menu. Some DVDs onlyallow
you to select disc playbackoptionsusingtheDVD root menu.
J.Display
1. PLAYINGTIME AND REMAININGTIME
a.During playback pressthe DISPLAY button todisplay thecur-
rent Title Number (1), the total Number ofTitles (2), the current
ChapterNumber (3), thetotal Numberof Chapters (4), andthe
PlayingelapsedTimefortheTitle (5). Theheadingwilldisappear
automaticallyafter 3 seconds ifDISPLAYbuttonis not pressed.

2. ANGLE
Duringplaybackofadisc, press ANGLE todisplaytheavailable angles
fordiscscontainingmulti-angles*, with the current angle number (1)
andthetotal numberof angles(2) displaying.Press‘ANGLE toselect
another angle, thenpress again toexit andreturn to the normalview-
ingangle.
*NOTE: Notall discscontain this feature.

3. SUBTITLE
During disc playback press SUBTITLE to select thesubtitlelanguage
youdesire*,withthecurrentSubtitle LanguageNumber(1) andthe
total Number of Subtitle Languages(2)displayed. Ifthere are mul-
tiple languages press SUBTITLE again to selectanothersubtitle lan-
guage.To turn subtitles OFF,press the SUBTITLE button until Sub-
title Off isdisplayed. TheSubtitledisplay will disappear automatically
ifthe SUBTITLE button isnotpressed again within 3 seconds.

4. AUDIO
DuringplaybackpressAUDIOtoselecttheaudiolanguageyoudesire*,
withthe currentAudioChannelNumber (1)andthetotal number of
Audio Channels (2) displayed. Press AUDIOagain to selectanother
audio language. The audio displaywill disappear automaticallyifthe
AUDIO button is notpressed again within 3 seconds.

5.ZOOM
Duringplaybackpress ZOOM to enlargethepicture by2x,3xor 4X
with the current zoom multiple.(1)Press ZOOM first,thepicturewill
be enlarged 2X.(2)Press ZOOM second time ,the picture will be en-
larged 3X.(3)Press ZOOM 3rd time ,thepicture will beenlarged 4X.
(4)Press ZOOM 4thtime ,the picture will return to normal size.

SingleElapsed: The current track playingand playingtime ofthat
trackwill displayon the screen.
Single Remain: The current trackplayingand the amount oftime
left.

Total Elapsed: The current track playingand the total time that the
CD has been playing.
Total Remain: The current track playingand the amountoftime
remainingon the CD.
Display Off:The CD time Information will notbe displayed.

USING THEREPEATFEATURE
Thedefault modefor the Repeat feature isOFF. Pressing REPEAT
consecutively changes the repeat options:
One-repeats the track that is playing.
All-repeats the disc that isplaying.

As you toggle through the options, the repeatoptionchanges.The
selected repeat option loops repeatedly until you turn itoff.

2. Playing MP3 Discs
MP3isa format for storingdigital audio.AnaudioCD-quality songis
compressed into theMP3 format with very littleloss ofaudio quality
whiletaking up much less disc space.CD-R/RWdiscs that have
beenencoded in MP3formatare compatible with this system.
MP3MENU ScreenDisplay
When an MP3 disc is inserted intothe unit, the menu screen appears
automatically.You can use the menu screen to select your desired
foldersand songsorthe system playsthesongsin the order they
were burned onto the disc.
1.Pressthe or buttonto chooseafolderfromthe folderlist
onthe leftside ofthescreen.
2.Press ENTER to selectthe highlightedfolder.Thesongsavail-
able under the folder willbe listed.
3. Use or button to choose a songfrom thelist. PressEN-
TERtoselect andbeginplaybackof the highlighted song.

4. Use thebutton tomove to the next song. Press the button
to moveto thebeginningofthe previous song.
USINGTHEREPEATFEATURE
Thedefault modefortheRepeatfeature isRepeatOff.Pressing
