H.264can,withoutcompromisingimagequality,reducethesizeofadigitalvideolebymorethan80%comparedwiththeMotion
JPEGformatandasmuchas50%morethantheMPEG-4standard.Thismeansthatmuchlessnetworkbandwidthandstoragespace
arerequiredforavideole.Orseenanotherway,muchhighervideoqualitycanbeachievedforagivenbitrate.

causemovingobjectstoappearblurry.
Gain,measuredindecibel(dB),istheamountofamplicationappliedtotheimage.Ahighgainmayprovideabetterimageinlow
lightsituationsbutwillincreasetheamountofimagenoise.

TheIRcutlterpreventsinfrared(IR)lightfromreachingtheimagesensor.Inpoorlightingconditions,forexampleatnight,orwhen
usinganexternalIRlamp,settheIRcutltertoO.Thisincreaseslightsensitivityandallowstheproductto“see”infraredlight.The
imageisshowninblackandwhitewhentheIRcutlterisoff.
IfusingautomaticExposurecontrol,settheIRcutltertoAutotoautomaticallyswitchbetweenOnandOaccordingtothe
lightingconditions.
TheDay/Nightshitlevelbarhelpsdeterminewhenthecamerawillshiftfromdaymodetonightmode.Normally,thecamera
automaticallychangesmodefromdaytonightwhenverydark(level100intheslider).BysettingDay/Nightshitleveltoa
lowervalue,thecamerawillchangetonightmodeearlier.
AligntheChannelImages
ThelensesintheAxisproductarealignedduringproduction.Howevernetuningoftheimagealignmentmayberequireddepending
on,forinstance,thedistanceswithinthescene.Alsoalargeroverlapbetweentheimageswillguaranteeacompletecoverageof
thewholescenetoalargerextent.
