Selectexposuremoe
Therearedifferentexposuremodeoptionsinthecamerathatadjustsaperture,shutterspeed,andgaintoimproveimagequalitfor
specicsurveillancescenes.GotoSettings>Image>xposureandselectbetweenthefollowingexposuremodes:
•Formostusecases,selectAutomaticexposure.
•Forenvironmentswithcertainarticiallighting,forexampleuorescentlighting,selectFlicker-free.
Selectthesamefrequencasthepowerlinefrequenc.
•Forenvironmentswithcertainarticiallightandbrightlight,forexampleoutdoorswithuorescentlightingatnightand
sunduringdatime,selectFlicker-reduced.
Selectthesamefrequencasthepowerlinefrequenc.
•Tolockthecurrentexposuresettings,selectHoldcurrent.
BenetfromIRlightinlow-lightconitionsusingnightmoe
Yourcamerausesvisiblelighttodelivercolorimagesduringtheda.Astheavailablelightdiminishes,oucansetthecamerato
automaticallshifttonightmode,inwhichthecamerausesbothvisiblelightandnear-infraredlighttodeliverblack-and-white

Ifoumaximizedetailsinanimage,thebitratewillprobablincreaseandoumightgetareducedframerate.
•Makesuretoselectthecapturemodethathasthehighestresolution.
•Setthecompressionaslowaspossible.
•SelectMJPEGstreaming.
•TurnoffZipstreamfunctionalit.
Hanlesceneswithstrongbacklight
Dnamicrangeisthedifferenceinlightlevelsinanimage.Insomecasesthedifferencebetweenthedarkestandthebrightest
areascanbesignicant.Theresultisoftenanimagewhereeitherthedarkorthebrightareasarevisible.Widednamicrange
(WDR)makesbothdarkandbrightareasoftheimagevisible.
1.GotoSettings>Image>Widedynamicrange.
2.Ifrequired,turnonWDR.
3.UsetheLocalcontrastslidertoadjusttheamountofWDR.
