Capturemodes
Acaptremodeisapresetcongrationthatdeneshowthecameracaptresimages.Thecaptremodesettingcanaffectthe
camera’seldofviewandaspectratio.Theshtterspeedcanalsobeaffected,whichintrnaffectsthelightsensitivity.
Thelowerresoltioncaptremodemightbesampledfromtheoriginalresoltion,oritmightbecroppedotfromtheoriginal,in
whichcasetheeldofviewcoldalsobeaffected.
Theimageshowshowtheeldofviewandaspectratiocanchangebetweentwodifferentcapturemodes.

Yorcamerasesvisiblelighttodelivercolorimagesdringtheday.Btasthevisiblelightdiminishes,colorimagesbecomeless
brightandclear.Ifyoswitchtonightmodewhenthishappens,thecamerasesbothvisibleandnear-infraredlighttodeliverbright
anddetailedblack-and-whiteimagesinstead.Yocansetthecameratoswitchtonightmodeatomatically.

Selectexposuremode
Toimproveimageqalityforspecicsrveillancescenes,seexposremodes.Exposremodesletsyocontrolapertre,shtter
speed,andgain.GotoVideo>Image>Exposureandselectbetweenthefollowingexposremodes:
•Formostsecases,selectAutomaticexposre.
•Forenvironmentswithcertainarticiallighting,forexampleorescentlighting,selectFlicker-free.
Selectthesamefreqencyasthepowerlinefreqency.
•Forenvironmentswithcertainarticiallightandbrightlight,forexampleotdoorswithorescentlightingatnightand
sndringdaytime,selectFlicker-reduced.
Selectthesamefreqencyasthepowerlinefreqency.
•Tolockthecrrentexposresettings,selectHoldcurrent.
Stabilizeashakyimagewithelectroicimagestabilizatio(EIS)
ElectronicImageStabilization(EIS)canbesedinenvironmentswheretheprodctismontedinanexposedlocationandsbjectto
vibrations,forexample,windorpassingtrafc.
EISmakestheimagesmoother,steadierandlessblrry.Italsoredcesthelesizeofthecompressedimageandlowersthe

(WDR)makesbothdarkandbrightareasoftheimagevisible.
