Stabilizeashakyimagewithelectroicimagestabilizatio(EIS)

MotionJPEG,orMJPEG,isadigitalvideoseqencethatismadepofaseriesofindividalJPEGimages.Theseimagesarethen
displayedandpdatedataratesfcienttocreateastreamthatshowsconstantlypdatedmotion.Fortheviewertoperceivemotion
videotheratemstbeatleast16imageframespersecond.Fllmotionvideoisperceivedat30(NTSC)or25(PAL)framespersecond.
TheMotionJPEGstreamsesconsiderableamontsofbandwidth,btprovidesexcellentimageqalityandaccesstoeveryimage
containedinthestream.
H.264orMPEG-4Part10/AVC
Note
H.264isalicensedtechnology.TheAxisprodctincldesoneH.264viewingclientlicense.Toinstalladditionalnlicensed
copiesoftheclientisprohibited.Toprchaseadditionallicenses,contactyorAxisreseller.
H.264can,withotcompromisingimageqality,redcethesizeofadigitalvideolebymorethan80%comparedtotheMotion
JPEGformatandbyasmchas50%comparedtoolderMPEGformats.Thismeansthatlessnetworkbandwidthandstoragespace
arereqiredforavideole.Orseenanotherway,highervideoqalitycanbeachievedforagivenbitrate.

Variablebitrate(VBR)
Variablebitrateallowsthebandwidthconsmptiontovarydependingonthelevelofactivityinthescene.Themoreactivity,

Maximmbitrateletsyosetatargetbitratetohandlebitratelimitationsinyorsystem.Yomightseeadeclineinimageqalityor

orframerate.Werecommendthatyocongrethetargetbitratetoahighervalethantheexpectedbitrate.Thisgivesyoa
