produtistobeused,ashieldednetworkable(STP)maybeappropriateorrequired.
Allablesonnetingtheproduttothenetworkandthatareroutedoutdoorsorin
demandingeletrialenvironmentsshallbeintendedfortheirspeiuse.Makesurethat
thenetworkdeviesareinstalledinaordanewiththemanufaturer’sinstrutions.For
informationaboutregulatoryrequirements,seeRegulatorinformationonpage32.

domeoverissrathedordamaged.Smokeddomeoversandspareleardomeoversanbe
purhasedfromyourAxisreseller.
UsetheInstallationGuidedeliveredwiththedomeover.
HowtoinstallanSDcard
InstallinganSDardisoptional.AstandardorhighapaitySDard(notinluded)anbeusedto
storereordingsloallyintheprodut.
1.Loosenthedomeringsrewsandremovethedomeover.
2.InsertanSDardintotheSDardslot.
3.Attahthedomeovertothetopoverandtightenthesrews(torque3.2Nm).
Howtopressurizethecamera(recommended)
TheamerahousinganbelledwithNitrogengastopreventondensation.
Thellingproessisrepeatedthreetimes,releasingthepressurebetweenllings,tomakesurethat
allairandhumidityispurgedfromthehousing.
Note
Theamerahousinghasanpressurereliefvalvethatlimitsthellingpressureto0.5bar
(7psi).Duringnormalusethepressureinsidetheamerahousingmaydropbelowthat
pressure.Forfullprotetionmakesurethatthepressureisabove0.2bar(3psi).
1.Settheregulatorgaugeonthegasylinderto0.5bar(7psi).
2.Removetheapsfromtheinletvalveandthepressurereliefvalve.
3.Plaethehukontheinletvalveandpressdowntolltheamerawithnitrogen.
4.Whenthepressureinsidetheamerahousingreahes0.5bar(7psi)thepressurerelief
valvewillopen.Plaeyourhandoverthepressurereliefvalvetoverifythatthegas
isowingout.
5.Liftthepressurereliefvalvetolettheoverpressureoutoftheameraunit.
6.Repeatthellingproessatotalof3times,leavingthetheamerapressurizedthe
lasttime.
7.Puttheapsbakontheinletvalveandthepressurereliefvalve.

environmentprotetedagainstdustandwater,forexampleindoorsorinanappropriate
abinet.

otherdeviesaresupported.
1.Makesurethemainssupplyisswithedoff.
2.Mountthepowersupplyandthemediaonverterswithonthewallor,ifappliable,
attahthemtoaDINrailintheabinet.Ifdrillingisrequired,makesuretousedrillbits,
srews,andplugsthatareappropriateforthematerial.
3.Loosenthesrewsandremovetheoverfromthemediaonverterswith.
