maybeusedinvarioustypesofinstallations.

Adjustthefocusfasterwithfocusrecallareas
osavethefocussettingsataspecicpan/tiltrange,addafocusrecallarea.Eachtimethecameramovesintothatareaitrecallsthe
previouslysavedfocus.It’senoughtocoverhalfofthefocusrecallareaintheliveview.
Werecommendthefocusrecallfeatureinthefollowingscenarios:
•Whenthereisalotofmanualoperationinliveview,forexamplewithajoystick.
•WherePZpresetpositionswithmanualfocusarenotefcient,forexamplemovementswherethefocussettingchanges
continuously.
•Inlow-lightscenarios,wheretheautofocusischallengedbythelightingconditions.

•hefocusrecalloverridesthecamera’sautofocusatthespecicpan/tiltrange.
•Apresetpositionoverridesthefocussettingsavedinthefocusrecallarea.

1.Pan,tilt,andzoomintotheareawhereyouwouldliketohavefocus.
Aslongasthefocusrecallbuttonshowsaplus,youcanaddafocusrecallareainthatposition.

anddetailedblack-and-whiteimagesinstead.Youcansetthecameratoswitchtonightmodeautomatically.

Ifyousettheswitchtonightmodetooccurwhenit’sbrighter,theimageremainssharperasthereislesslow-lightnoise.If
yousettheswitchtooccurwhenit’sdarker,theimagecolorsaremaintainedforlonger,butthereismoreimageblurdue
tolow-lightnoise.
Reducenoiseinlow-lightconditions
oreducenoiseinlow-lightconditions,youcanadjustoneormoreofthefollowingsettings:
•Adjustthetrade-offbetweennoiseandmotionblur.GotoVideo>mage>ExposureandmovetheBlur-noisetrade-off
slidertowardLownoise.

Ahighmaxshuttervaluecanresultinmotionblur.

Handlesceneswithstrongbacklight
Dynamicrangeisthedifferenceinlightlevelsinanimage.Insomecasesthedifferencebetweenthedarkestandthebrightest
areascanbesignicant.heresultisoftenanimagewhereeitherthedarkorthebrightareasarevisible.Widedynamicrange
(WDR)makesbothdarkandbrightareasoftheimagevisible.
