Passworddialog,whichopenswhentheproductisaccessedforthersttime.
Topreventnetworkeavesdropping,therootpasswordcanbesetviaanencryptedHTTPSconnection,whichrequiresanHTTPS
certicate.HTTPS(HypertextTransferProtocoloverSSL)isaprotocolusedtoencrypttrafcbetweenwebbrowsersandservers.The
HTTPScerticateensuresencryptedexchangeofinformation.SeeHTTPonpage43.
Thedefaultadministratorusernamerootispermanentandcannotbedeleted.Ifthepasswordforrootislost,theproductmustbe

exposure)andsetxedlevelsoniris,gainandshutterspeed.Tore-enableautoiris,usethePTZcontrolpanelwhichisopenedby
clickingtheCtrlpanelbutton(seeabove).Ifautoirisisenabled,AutoisvisiblenexttotheIrisbarbar.
