Axis HDPTZ Quick Guide
Congratulations on your purchase of the Earth Networks HDPTZ Camera!
This guide will take you through how to login and find your camera on your network and as well as some
basic features of the camera.
How to find your Axis HDPTZ Camera
First you will need to download the HDPTZ Camera Finder tool for the camera from the Earth Networks
Support webpage.
1) Open any web browser and go to https://support.earthnetworks.com/
2) Click on Knowledge Base
3) Scroll down and click on cameras
4) Under the “How to” Section of the page click on the link named: “Where can I download the
Earth networks Camera Finder Tool?”
5) Click on the link for the Axis Camera Model
6) Open up the .exe and follow the steps to install the IP Utility program on your computer.
NOTE: The PC needs to be on the same subnet as the camera, in order to find it.
If the PC you are on is on the same subnet as the camera, you should be able to see the camera when
opening up the program.

If you do not see the camera right away, you can search for it by clicking on the blue refresh icon.
Once done locating the camera, to access the camera, simply double click on the Name of the camera.
To access the live stream of the camera, click on the play button that is on the black image.
How to login and move the Camera
In order to login into the camera, you will need to follow the above steps first on how to find the camera.
After navigating to the camera via its IP address, you will need to login by clicking on the person icon in
the top right hand corner
Next click on the blue “login” icon in the pop-up window

A new window will load prompting you to sign in. Fill in your credentials for the camera.
Your username is: admin
Password: To be provided by Earth Networks Technical support
Now that you are logged in, you should be able to move and zoom the camera
To move the camera: Either click on the direction you want the camera to go OR click and drag the plus
sign in the middle of the screen to the desired location. The longer the line you draw the further the
camera moves.
To Zoom the camera in and out: Using the wheel on your mouse, scroll up to zoom in or scroll down to
zoom out (Note: after scrolling the desired amount wait a second for the camera to move); OR on the
bottom of the image use the slide bar to zoom in and out
How to shake water off the Camera Dome
To shake water off of the camera dome, you will need to be logged into the camera with your credentials
which can be done following the steps above.
After logging in, you will find that some settings on the bottom task bar appear. Simply click on the
second icon from the left called speed dry.
