About the Router
With the consistent increase of wireless devices in need of a wireless
connection, the rise of the devices which are capable of fully catering to the
needs of each wireless device that you have in your home is also essential.
Aztech WL576E, a Wall-Plugged 300Mbps High-Speed Wireless-N AP, prioritizes
this role while providing other user-centric features that comply to each of
your wireless devices’ needs.
802.11n with MIMO : Enhanced Wireless Speed and Performance
The Aztech WL576E supports the 802.11n wireless standard which enables the
device to have up to 300Mbps wireless transfer speeds, perfect for your daily
dose of internet activities such as social networking, video streaming, online
gaming, and other internet reliant activities. Enhanced further by its Multiple
In Multiple Out (MIMO) Technology feature, the Aztech WL576E is capable of
having enhanced wireless performance and even a boost to its wireless
range, allowing it to fully provide the wireless needs of your home.
Ideal Portable Design for a Hassle Free Setup
Designed with an embedded power adapter, the Aztech WL576E
implements a simple yet unique design which prioritizes more on device
portability rather than the usual hyped up and unnecessary device designs
present in the market. With its embedded power adapter, table space
consumption and device location would never be a problem. In addition,
due to its simple design, device setup becomes easier and hassle free due to
its intuitive design which enable users to quickly setup their network.
Wireless Connectivity Option
As an added plus, the WL576E has a WiFi Protected Setup (WPS) feature
which enable users to connect their WPS enabled wireless devices to
connect wirelessly to the WL576E with a simple press of the WPS button on
both devices. This eliminates the hassle wireless network searching and
correct password entry we commonly avoid.

Setup the Device
In setting up your device, kindly follow the instructions provided below. A
diagram has also been provided for additional reference.
1. In Room A, connect your Broadband modem to your room’s RJ45 wall
outlet.
2. In Room B, using the Ethernet cable included in the package, connect
your WL576E to Room B’s RJ45 wall outlet, then plug it to a power
outlet.
3. Switch ON the power of both your Broadband Modem and your
WL576E’s power outlet.

Tips for Placing the Access Point
Before proceeding to configure your WL556E, it is often a good idea to
identify the areas where you have good wireless reception and weak or no
wireless signal at all. Using these indicators, you may place the WL576E in a
location where you have poor wireless coverage. This can be done by
checking your router’s wireless signal strength on the wireless devices that you
commonly use. This will serve as the preferred location of the WL576E.The
illustration below is an example of a network diagram.
In choosing the location, it is also important for the location to have (1) a
power outlet or a power strip nearby, and (2) an RJ45 wall outlet where you
would be connecting the WL576E through an Ethernet cable.

The Web User Interface
The Web User Interface of your WL576E allows you to configure the various
features of your device. This will serve as your main tool in monitoring and
configuring all of your WL576E’s main features.
Accessing the Web User Interface
In accessing the web user interface, you have the option to configure it
through (1) Ethernet connection or (2) Wireless.
Option A : To access the Web User Interface through an Ethernet connection:
NOTE : If present, kindly turn off the wireless adapter of your computer. You
may enable the wireless adapter after completing the setup. This is to
avoid IP address conflicts which might block you from accessing the Web
user interface.
1. Connect an Ethernet device (e.g. Laptop, desktop) to the WL576E
using an Ethernet Cable.
2. Assign a static IP address to your Ethernet device.
a. On your laptop, right click the Wireless Icon on the System Tray.
b. On the selection list that appeared, click on the Open Network and
Sharing Center.

c. On the Network and Sharing Center window, click on the Change
Adapter Settings button.
d. Right click on the Ethernet Adapter (in this case, Ethernet) of your
Laptop (Ethernet adapter name for devices may vary), then click
Properties on the selection list.
e. On the Wireless Adapter Properties window, double click on Internet
Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4) on the list. Its respective window will
appear.
f. On the Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4) window, select the Use
the Following IP address radio button. Enter the correct IP address,
and Subnet mask that would match the WL576E’s current IP address.
By default, the WL576E’s IP address is 10.0.10.254, this means that the

possible values for the IP address of your wireless device is between
10.0.10.1 to 10.0.10.253.
g. Click OK to apply and close the Internet Protocol Version 4
(TCP/IPv4). Then click the OK button to close the Wireless adapter
window.
3. Launch any web browser (e.g. Internet Explorer, Google Chrome) and
type 10.0.10.254 on the address bar then press Enter. You will then be
redirected to the login page of your WL576E’s web user interface. If
not, please check the IP address you have assigned to your Ethernet
device.
4. Type in admin as its username and password to login.
Option B : To access the Web User Interface through a Wireless Device:
After you have connected to the WL576E’s wireless network, if you
want to access the Web UI through a wireless device, you would have
to first configure the Static IP Address of your Wireless Device.
Additional Notes:
For wireless devices to access the Web User Interface of the
WL576E, you have to assign a static IP address within the same
range of WL576E (e.g. from 10.0.10.1 to 10.0.10.253) on your

wireless device (if you have not changed the IP address of your
WL576E yet).
The instructions provided below are only for Windows 7 and
above. For Smartphones or tablets, however, you might need to
download an external app which would allow you to change
the current ip address set on your device.
Once you are done accessing the Web User Interface, you may
have to set the IP address again of your wireless device as
dynamic. This is to ensure that your device would not be having
problems when connecting to other wireless networks.
1. On your laptop, right click the Wireless Icon on the System Tray.
2. On the selection list that appeared, click on the Open Network and
Sharing Center.
3. On the Network and Sharing Center window, click on the Change
Adapter Settings button.
4. Right click on the Wireless Adapter (in this case, Wi-Fi 4) of your
Laptop (wireless adapters may vary), then click Properties on the
selection list.

5. On the Wireless Adapter Properties window, double click on Internet
Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4) on the list. Its respective window will
appear.
6. On the Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4) window, select the Use
the Following IP address radio button. Enter the correct IP address,
and Subnet mask that would match the WL576E’s current IP address.
By default, the WL576E’s IP address is 10.0.10.254, this means that the
possible values for the IP address of your wireless device is between
10.0.10.1 to 10.0.10.253.
7. Click OK to apply and close the Internet Protocol Version 4
(TCP/IPv4). Then click the OK button to close the Wireless adapter
window.
8. Launch any web browser application (e.g. Internet Explorer, Google
Chrome) and type 10.0.10.254 on the address bar then press Enter.
You will then be redirected to the login page of your WL576E’s web

user interface. If not, please check the IP address you have
assigned to your Ethernet device.
9. Type in admin as its username and password to login.
Easier Web UI Access
Wireless devices currently connected to the WL576E would not be able to
access the Web User Interface since the DHCP pool or the range of IP
addresses provided by the WL576E are generated from the modem (e.g.
smartphone is on the same range of the modem router, not with the WL576E).
Since consistently changing the static IP address of your wireless device is
tedious, through the Web UI of the WL576E, you can change its default IP
address (10.0.10.254) to an IP address within the range of your modem router
(e.g. if the modem router’s IP address is 192.168.1.1, the possible IP addresses
would be from 192.168.1.2 to 192.168.1.254).

To change the IP address of your WL576E:
1. On your wireless device, launch a web browser.
2. Enter 10.0.10.254 on the address bar and type in admin as its username
and password to login. You will automatically be redirected to the
Web User Interface of your WL576E.
3. On the Web User Interface, click System and go to Local.
4. On the Router IP Address field, enter an IP address included in the
range of the modem router’s IP address (e.g. your router’s IP address is
192.168.1.1, the choices of IP addresses would be from 192.168.1.2 to
192.168.1.254).
5. Enter the correct Subnet Mask.
6. Click Apply button to save and apply settings.NOTE: Once you have
changed the Router’s IP Address, you would be using the new IP
address whenever you are accessing the Web User Interface of your
WL576E.

The Web UI Components
Each menu in the WL576E allows you to modify each of the access point’s
features. The WL576E has the following menus:
Home
Quick Setup
Wireless
System
Home
Provides a quick preview of each connected wireless devices’ MAC
Addresses. This is also the default page of the WL576E’s web user interface.

Quick Setup
Allows you to quickly configure the wireless SSID (wireless network name) and
its wireless password. Other properties are also provided in this area, such as
the configuration of the encryption type, the channel it will be using, and the
security mode.
To change the wireless network name and wireless password:
1. On the Quick Setup page, enter the preferred SSID (Wireless Network
Name) on the SSID input box.
2. Enter the preferred Security Mode.
NOTE: It is suggested to leave this on its default value WPA2PSK .
3. Enter the preferred Passphrase (Wireless Password) on the Passphrase
field.
4. Click Apply to save and apply the changes.

Wireless
Allows you configure the settings, the security, and configure MAC filters for
your WL576E’s wireless network.
It has the following submenus:
Settings
Security
MAC Filter
Settings. Allows you to enable or disable the wireless feature, change
the wireless SSID, its wireless mode, the channel used, and the HT Data
Rate/Channel Bandwidth/and Guard Interval.
To configure the Wireless Settings:
1. Tick the Wireless Enabled Checkbox to enable the wireless.
NOTE: By default, the wireless network of your WL576E is enabled.
2. Enter your preferred SSID on the SSID input box.
