This Easy Start Guide will help you setup your FG7008GR(AC)
for internet connectivity and configure your wireless network’s
properties (e.g. changing of Wireless Network name and Password).

a. Power ON your FG7008GR(AC) by connecting and
plugging its power adapter to a power outlet.
b. Connect your ONT device to the FG7008GR(AC)’s WAN
port using an Ethernet cable.
c. You may connect an Ethernet device (e.g. Desktop/PC)
on your FG7008GR(AC)’s Ethernet ports.

all involved Ethernet devices are
switched OFF first before setting up.

device and desktop is already
plugged.
CHECK THE LEDS :
• The POWER, BROADBAND, and INTERNET LEDs
should now be GREEN. If an Ethernet device is
connected, its corresponding Ethernet LED would be in
GREEN. The Ethernet LED will also be blinking if there
is activity on the corresponding port.
NOTE: Singapore Fibre Residential customers do not need to configure
anything since the FG7008GR(AC) would AUTOMATICALLY DETECT THE
SETTINGS of your Fibre connection.

STEP 2: Connecting your Wireless
Devices
Every FG7008GR(AC) device has been configured with a unique Wireless
Network Name (SSID) and Network Key (wireless password). These
details are displayed on the device label sticker located on the side of
your FG7008GR(AC) as seen below.
2.1 DEFAULT NETWORK NAME AND NETWORK KEY
• For any changes in your wireless router, you will have to
connect again to the wireless network of your FG7008GR(AC).
• Do take note that your Dual Band Wireless Router will
broadcast two Wireless SSIDs (one for both 2.4GHz and
5.0GHz bands as seen above).
• The 5.0GHz SSID (wireless network name) will only be visible
to your wireless device if it has a dual band support.
ADDITIONAL NOTES :
** The Default SSIDs (Wireless Network
Name) and Network Key (Password) of both
the 2.4GHz and 5.0GHz band can be seen on
the label sticker. You may proceed to Section
2.4 of STEP 2 if you wish to change the
Wireless Password of your FG7008GR(AC).

2.2 CONNECTING TO YOUR WIRELESS NETWORK
Kindly refer and follow your respective operating system’s instructions:
If you are using Windows 7:
a. On the system tray, click the Wireless icon
and the Available Wireless Networks list
would appear.
b. On the Available Wireless Networks list,
double click on your wireless network (in
this case, AztechFG7008(5G)-IBZ1).
The default wireless network name and
network key can be seen on the label
sticker of your FG7008GR(AC) as shown
on Section 2.1.
NOTE: If the wireless network name is not on the
list, click the button to refresh the available
wireless networks.
c. You will be prompted to enter a network
Security Key (wireless password). Key
in the correct password of your wireless
network.
d. On the Set Network Location window,
double click Home Network, then click
the Close button to complete the setup.
e. Once your wireless device has succesfully
connected, the wireless icon on its system
tray would reflect the signal strength of
your router.

If you are using Windows 8:
Move your mouse cursor to the lower right
corner of the screen. The Charms Bar will appear.
a. Click Settings.
b. Click the Wi-Fi Icon.
c. From the Network List, select your
own wireless network (in this case,
AztechFG7008(5G)-IBZ1).
NOTE: The Default SSID and Password can be
seen on the device label sticker as indicated
on Section 2.1.
d. Click the Connect button.
You may tick the Connect Automatically
checkbox if you want your device to connect
to the network without entering the password
again.
e. Input the correct Network Security Key
(wireless password) and then click Next.
f. If you are prompted to turn on network
device content discovery, click Yes.

g. The status Connected would be displayed
under the FG7008GR(AC)’s wireless network
name indicating a successful connection.

NOTE : Singapore customers do not need to configure anything
in the Quick Setup area. All of these information are already pre-
configured in your ONT device and would automatically be detected
by your FG7008GR(AC) upon correctly following the setup provided
on Step 1.
The Web User Interface is used to configure both the basic and advanced
router settings. It can easily be accessed through any Web Browser (e.g.
Internet Explorer, Google Chrome).
2.3 ACCESSING THE WEB USER INTERFACE
a. Launch any Web browser (e.g. Internet Explorer, Google Chrome).
b. On the address bar type http://192.168.1.254 and press enter. You
will then be redirected to your FG7008GR(AC) Web User Interface’s
Quick Setup page.
To access the Web User Interface of your FG7008GR(AC) :

a. Launch a Web Browser and access the Web User Interface (you
may refer to Section 2.3).
b. On the Web User Interface click Quick Setup. On the sub-menu
click the Wireless tab.
2.4 CONFIGURING THE 2.4GHz and 5.0GHz WIRELESS
PROPERTIES
The Web User Interface also allows you to configure the properties of
your wireless network. Please read and follow the instructions provided
below in configuring your wireless network.
c. On the wireless band that you wish to configure (e.g. 2.4GHz or
5.0GHz Wireless), you may enable or disable the 2.4GHz or 5.0GHz
wireless by ticking or unticking the Enable Wireless checkbox
present on each section.
