To fit the rear wheels: Insert the
steel pin of the rear wheel in to
the rear wheel housing until the
wheel clicks in to position.
The front wheels can be used in
swivel-wheel or fixed-wheel
mode. To switch from locked to
swivel: Slide up the swivel lock
buttons (left and right). To switch
back to locked: Slide down the
swivel lock buttons (left and
right).right).
WARNING: When descending a
kerb, tip the stroller back and
allow the rear wheels to touch
the ground first.
Whilst holding both folding locks
in, lift the chassis
upwards.
The chassis will extend to its
erect position.
WWARNING: It is important to
ensure the primary and second-
ary locks are pushed in when
folding or unfolding the chassis.
Failure to do so could result in
damage to your stroller.

First, remove all packaging
and then remove the wheels
stowed in the stroller basket.

Locate the primary and
secondary chassis release
buttons in the middle of the
handle. Press in the primary
lock and squeeze the
secondary lock.
To fit the front wheels: Insert the
steel pin of the front wheel into the
front wheel housing until the wheel
clicks in to position.

Using the parking brake
Folding the Oyster Atom
To engage the brake: Firmly press
down with your foot on the brake
lever, located on the right hand
side of the rear axle. Check that
the brake is fully engaged before
letting go of the handle.
TTo release the brake: Firmly press
down with your foot on the brake
pedal until the wheels move
freely.
NEVER leave the vehicle without
first engaging the brake.
WWARNING: Always engage the
brake when placing or removing a
child in the stroller
To recline the backrest: Squeeze
the back rest adjuster button
between your forefinger and
thumb and pull the adjuster to
lower the seat.
TTo raise the back rest: Hold the
D-ring at the end of the adjuster
strap. With your other hand,

and thumb and slide the adjuster
to the required angle.
To lower the calf support: Locate
the calf support release catches
on the underside of the calf
support. Pull the catches towards
you to release and lower the calf
support.
TTo raise the calf support: Lift calf
support to required height.

forward on the stroller handle to
fold until it is locked in the folded
position. Note: the bumper bar
should be in the folded position

WARNING: Always apply the parking brake before placing
your child in the vehicle.
The restraint system (safety harness) has two shoulder
straps, two waist straps and a crotch strap. Place the two
shoulder straps over the child’s shoulders and the waist
straps around the childs waist. The crotch strap should be

placed between the child’s legs. The waist belt and
shoulder straps should be clipped in to the centre buckle
at the end of the crothch strap.
The harness can be adjusted to suit your child by sliding The harness can be adjusted to suit your child by sliding
the adjusters along the shoulder straps and waist belt. To
release the safety harness, push the button on the centre
buckle. The shoulder straps can also be adjusted to one
of three height positions; reach up between the seat fabric
/seat back and thread the buckle throughthe hole in the
plastic seat back and through the opening in the seat
covecover. Reposition by by passing first through the seat
cover and then through the opening in the plastic seat
back. Ensure that both shoulder straps are at the same
level and that both are secure.
To remove the bumper bar: Locate
the bumper bar release button on
the underside of the bumper bar
attachment assembly. Press
button and slide bumper bar out
from the bumper bar housing
To adjust bumper bar: Squeeze
the bumper bar adustment
buttons between your thumb and
forefinger whilst raising or
lowering to the up position or
down position.
WARNING: Always use the crotch strap in combination
with the waist belt
ALWAYS USE THE SAFETY HARNESS
WARNING: Always ensure the
bumper bar is in the upright posi-
tion when the child is in the seat.
The canopy can be pulled fully
forward or retracted (closed). The
canopy peak can be pushed back
into the hood.
The footmuff top cover can be removed by unfastening
the zip. The base of the footmuff can be used as a seat
liner without the top part. To attach the footmuff to the
seat: Release the harness clips from the centre buckle
and release the shoulder straps from the waist belts at the
buckle connection. Pass the shoulder straps and waist
belts through the corresponding openings in the footmuff.
Pass the crotch strap and cover through the opening in Pass the crotch strap and cover through the opening in

top of the back rest.

the car seat clicks and locks in to
position. Check the car seat is

down on the car seat release
buttons located next to the car
seat handle, left and right, and lift
the car seat away from the
adaptors.
Fitting the adaptors: Locate the
car seat adaptor housings on
both sides of the seat. Slide the
car seat adaptor on to the car
seat adaptor housing until you
hear a click.
Slide the car seat adaptors away
from the car seat adaptor housing
on both sides of the seat unit.
The Maxi-Cosi CabrioFix and the Maxi-Cosi Pebble/Pebble+
are compatible with the Oyster Atom stroller when used in
conjunction with the Oyster Atom car seat adaptors.

Both the front and rear wheels should be removed regularly
to cleaned and lubricated.
To remove the front wheels: Push
a flat head screwdriver into the
front wheel release cavity. This
will release the wheel, allowing
the wheel to be removed from the
front wheel housing.
To remove the rear wheels:
Locate the rear wheel release
button located on the underside of
the rear wheel housing (rear axle).
Press button down and pull wheel
away from housing.
Light oil or silicone spray is suitable to use as a lubricant
for moving parts. Petroleum jelly is a good lubricant to use
on the front axle stub. Periodically remove the front swivel
wheel unit to clean and lubricate with petroleum jelly.
• Regularly check screws, rivets, bolts & fastenings to
ensure they are locked tight and secure. Replace any
parts in an inferior condition. Should you intend to use
the pushchair during the winter, by the sea or off-road;
it is important to clean thoroughly & dry the vehicle after
use. Salt from the ocean or from roads will corrode metal
parts unless removed.parts unless removed. After use in these circumstances

• Check on a regular basis that all chassis locking devices
are working correctly.
• If any part of the pushchair is damaged contact your
local BabyStyle retailer immediately without using the
pushchair.
•• Do not expose your pushchair to excessive sunlight for
extensive periods of time, even normal exposure to
sunlight may cause the colour of the fabric to change.
• Take care not to tear the fabrics while transporting the
pushchair.
• Ensure that zips are either fully open or fully closed
otherwise they may get damaged.
•• Always use the rain cover in inclement weather.
• Do not place items on the hood/canopy, it may damage
the vehicle and/or render it unsafe.
• Rubber tyres can leave marks on some surfaces. The
tyres can react with some surfaces (vinyl floor coverings,
carpets etc.) and cause stains. Always stand the stroller
on a protective surface indoors.
•
• Routinely clean the metal parts with a damp cloth &
then dry immediately.
• Fabrics should be cleaned following the guidance on the
care labels.
• Do not wash in the washing machine. Sponge clean or
hand wash with mild detergent and warm water (30°C).

Warranty
A stroller has many moving parts and requires
regular maintenance by the user. Simple cleaning
and lubricating will make the stroller look good &
operate better for longer. The stroller will be used
in many different environments, country walks,
a trip to the coast, a winter’s walk to school, all
can increase wear; lead to rust and corrosion and can increase wear; lead to rust and corrosion and
reduce the life of the product. Regular cleaning,
care and maintenance will reduce the effects of the
environment on the stroller. The warranty does not
protect the stroller against overloading, misuse,
neglect or lack of care and maintenance by the
user.
