DANGER: DO NOT use oven for indoor cooking or heating. Toxic fumes can accumulate and cause asphyxiation. Do not use in
or on boats or recreational vehicles.
WARNING: Improper installation, adjustment, alteration, service, or maintenance could cause injury or property damage. Read
the installation, operation, and maintenance instructions thoroughly. Failure to follow these instructions could result in
fire or explosion that could cause property damage, personal injury, or death.
DANGER: If you smell gas:
Shut off gas to the appliance.
Extinguish any open flame.
Open door.
If odor continues, keep away from the appliance and immediately call your gas supplier or your fire department.
WARNING: 1. Do not store or use gasoline or other flammable liquids or vapors in the vicinity of this or any other appliance.
2. An LP cylinder not connected for use shall not be stored in the vicinity of this or any other appliance.
WARNING: 1. DO NOT store or use gasoline or any other flammable vapors and liquids within 25 ft. (8m) of this or any
other appliance.
2. When cooking with oil/grease, have a type BC or ABC fire extinguish readily availble.
3. An LP Cylinder not connected for use should be stored a minimum of 10 ft. (3m) away from this or any other
appliance. Never fill the cylinder beyond 80 percent full. If the above information not followed exactly, a fire
causing death or serious injury may occur.
WARNING: NOTE: The use and installation of this product must conform to local codes. In absence of local codes, use the
National Fuel Gas Code, ANSI Z223.1/NFPA54, Natural Gas and Propane Installation Code, CSA B149.1, or Propane
Storage and Handling Code, B149.2.
IMPORTANT NOTICE: Read all instructions prior to assembly and use. Read and understand all warnings and precautions prior to
operating your oven.
SAFETY WARNINGS
Backyard Pro LP Outdoor Ovens are designed, built, and sold for commercial use and should be operated by
trained personnel only. Clearly post all DANGERS, CAUTIONS, WARNINGS, and OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS near
each unit to insure proper operation and to reduce the chance of personal injury and/or equipment damage.

CAUTION:
1. This oven is for use with propane gas only (propane gas cylinder not included).
2. Never attempt to attach this oven to the self-contained propane system of a camper trailer, motor home, or house.
3. Never use charcoal or lighter fluid with the gas grill unless using an approved accessory.
4. Do not use gasoline, kerosene, or alcohol for lighting. The LP-gas supply cylinder must be constructed and marked in accordance
with the specifications for propane gas cylinders of the U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) CFR 49. Or the National
Standard of Canada, CAN/CSA-B339, Cylinder, Spheres and Tubes for Transportation of Dangerous Goods. This oven is not
intended to be used in or installed on recreation vehicles and/or boats.
5. Do not attempt to move the oven while it is lit.
6. Do not use the oven unless it is completely assembled and all parts are securely fastened and tightened.
7. Keep all combustible items and surfaces at least 24 inches (60.9cm) away from oven at all times.
8. DO NOT use this oven or any gas product near unprotected combustible constructions.
9. Do not use in an explosive atmosphere. Keep oven area clear and free from combustible materials, gasoline, and other
flammable vapors and liquids.
10. Do not touch metal parts of oven until it has completely cooled (about 45 minutes) to avoid burns, unless you are wearing
protective gear (BBQ mittens, pot holders, etc.).
11. Do not alter this oven in any manner.
12. Clean and inspect the hose before each use. If there is evidence of abrasion, wear, cuts, or leaks, the hose must be replaced
prior to operating the appliance. The replacement hose assembly will be that which is specified by the manufacturer.
13. Move gas hoses as far away as possible from hot surfaces and dripping hot grease.
14. Never keep a filled container in a hot car or car trunk. Heat will cause the gas pressure to increase, which may open the relief
valve and allow gas to escape.
15. Keep the oven’s valve compartment, burners, and circulating air passages clean. Inspect the oven before each use.
WARNING:
1. This oven is for outside use only, and should not be used in a building, garage, or any other enclosed area.
2. The use of alcohol, prescription, or non-prescription drugs may impair the operator’s ability to properly assemble or safely
operate the oven.
3. Always open oven lid slowly and carefully as heat and steam trapped within the oven can burn you severely.
4. Always place your oven on a hard, level surface far away from combustibles. An asphalt or blacktop surface may not be
acceptable for this purpose.
5. Do not leave a lit oven unattended. Keep children and pets away from the oven at all times.
6. Do not place this grill on any type of tabletop surface.
7. Do not use the oven in high winds.

Liquid propane gas is flammable and hazardous if handled improperly. Know its characteristics before using any propane product.
• Propane Characteristics: Flammable, explosive under pressure, heavier than air, and settles in pools and low areas.
• In its natural state, propane has no odor. For your safety, an odorant has been added.
• Contact with propane can cause freeze burns to skin.
• This grill is shipped from the factory for propane gas use only.
• Never use a propane cylinder with a damaged body, valve, collar, or footing.
• Dented or rusted propane cylinders may be hazardous and should be checked by your propane gas supplier.

Attach two legs (25) to the front plate
(26) using the 1/4*14mm screws (18).
Then, screw the feet (24) into the bottom
of all four legs.
Attach the legs to the bottom of
the unit (9) using the 1/4*14mm
screws (18).

Install the door handle (19) to the front of the unit (17) using the 1/4*14mm
screws (18), installation mats (20), flat washers (23), spring washers (22), and
1/4” bolts (21).
Place the fire bricks and mesh cover (A-H) inside the
oven (9) as shown below.

INSTALLATION
NOTE: Oven must be installed outdoors on a noncombustible stand or surface. Consult local laws and regulations for use of
wood-fired cooking equipment.
1. Unpack your oven using two people to lift it out of the box.
2. Remove and discard all protective film from the oven.
3. Once the oven is assembled per the instructions above and installed in it’s proper location, it is recommended to season the oven
prior to use.
4. Season and burn off two or more times by allowing the oven to reach 650 degrees Fahrenheit and then let the fire die out. For
directions on lighting a fire in your oven see the section below.
GAS USE
BEFORE USING YOUR GAS FIRED PIZZA OVEN, PLEASE FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS BELOW
IF YOU SMELL GAS:
1. Close the gas.
2. Extinguish free flames.
3. Open the oven door.
THE GAS ESCAPE COULD CAUSE FIRE OR EXPLOSIONS CAUSING SERIOUS INJURIES OR DAMAGE TO OBJECTS.
IN CASE OF A GAS LEAK, DO NOT LIGHT THE OVEN. DETERMINE THE REASON FOR MALFUNCTION IN ORDER TO
PREVENT FIRE AND/OR EXPLOSION.
• Always use heat-resistant utensils while cooking. Plastic spoons, forks, tongs, and other similar materials will not withstand the high
temperatures in your oven and should be avoided.
• Always keep children and pets away from the oven during use. The oven temperatures can be extremely high and can cause severe
burns.
• Keep fuel supply pipes far from hot surfaces.
• The color of oven surface can change due to high temperatures.
• Do not use the oven in case of malfunction.
• This oven has been designed only for outside use and is not to be used in garages, on porches, or on verandas (covered or closed).
• Never extinguish the flames with water.
• Do not extingush fires using water.
• Do not use open flames near the oven.
• Do not paint or apply anything to the oven.

• Please follow the instructions for the connection of the regulator.
• After a period of non-use, please check for gas leaks or burner obstructions.
• Any flammable materials must be at least 100 cm. / 39.3 in. far from the oven.
• Should a grease fire occur, turn the gas off and close the oven door until the fire is out.
• The Liquid Propane Gas (LPG) is not natural gas. The conversion or attempted use of natural gas in a LPG unit is dangerous and will
void your warranty.
• A rusty or dented gas cylinder may be hazardous and must be controlled by your gas supplier. Do not use gas cylinders with a
damaged valve.
• Even an apparently empty cylinder could still contain gas. The cylinder should be transported and stored accordingly.
• During operation, use heat-resistant mittens or cooking gloves.
• All parts selaled by the manufacturer must not be tampered.

1. Any alteration of the product may be potentially hazardous.
2. Use only low pressure flexible pipes and regulators allowed by the current regulation.
3. To replace the pressure regulators and flexible pipes please refer only to the manufacturer instructions.
4. Check hose each time before using the oven for nicks, cracking, abrasions, or cuts. If the house is found to be damaged in any way,
do not use oven.
5. Move the oven door holding the wood handles.
