CARE AND MAINTENANCE
• Always unplug your appliance from the mains power supply before attempting any cleaning
or maintenance.
• Ensure that it has completely cooled before cleaning as it can get very hot during use.
• Turn the control to the OFF position.
• Wipe clean the base unit with a soft, damp cloth and dry thoroughly.
• Clean the sticks and food trays with warm soapy water.
• Don’t use harsh or abrasive cleaning detergents or scourers.
• Don’t immerse the base unit in water or any other liquid.
• Do not store the appliance in direct sunlight or in high humidity conditions.
GETTING STARTED
Remove the appliance from the box.
Remove any packaging from the appliance.
Place the packaging inside the box and store for future reference.
Clean the plastic interior with a soft, damp cloth and then thoroughly dry.
Place the Marshmallow Toasting Set on a dry, level heat-resistant surface away from
other appliances or objects.

STEP 1: Before using your appliance for the first time, clean the trays and forks in warm
soapy water, rinse and dry thoroughly.
STEP 2: Ensure the power cord fits between one of the gaps in the food trays and plug the
appliance into a mains power supply.
STEP 3: Fill the compartments of the food trays with your favourite treats (biscuits,
chocolate, fruits, marshmallows, etc.)
STEP 4: Turn the mains supply on and turn the dial on. The indicator light will start to
illuminate.
STEP 5: Pre heat the heating element for a couple of minutes for best results. The appliance
is now ready to use.
CAUTION: The heating element will get very hot. Do not touch these parts.
STEP 6: Prepare s’mores sandwich with a chocolate bar placed between two plain biscuits
(or another biscuit of choice).
STEP 7: Place a marshmallow on the forks and hold the marshmallow above the heating
element taking care not to touch the stainless steel cover with the marshmallow. Rotate the
marshmallow frequently until it browns and starts to melt.
NOTE: Toasting marshmallow should take approximately 2 minutes.
STEP 8: When the marshmallow is melted and toasted to your liking, place the melted
marshmallow on top of the chocolate bar on your s’mores sandwich and then place another
biscuit on top. Lightly press the ingredients together for a perfect s ‘mores sandwich.
STEP 9: If you want to use the set as a chocolate fondue, break chocolate into small pieces
and place them in the melting pot. Put the melting pot on top of the heating element. Stir the
chocolate occasionally as it is melting.
CAUTION: Never add chocolate directly into the heating element, always use the pot
provided.
STEP 10: Once the chocolate has melted, Place your favourite treats on the forks and dip
into the melting pot.
STEP 11: To turn the appliance off, turn the dial off and unplug it from the mains power
supply: the indicator light will go out.

• Have the biscuit of choice ready before you start to toast the marshmallows
• You can use a variety of combinations besides the traditional s’more.
• Spread peanut butter on the biscuit and add a slice of banana before adding the chocolate
and marshmallow.
• Replace the biscuit with choc chip cookies. Add the chocolate and the toasted marshmallow
with a drizzle of chocolate sauce.
• Melting chocolate by itself may cause it to separate after a little while. It is recommended to
add a few teaspoons of vegetable oil to the chocolate to keep it smooth.
• Never add water to chocolate. This will also cause it to separate.
• Brush fruits with a little lemon juice to keep them from turning brown
HINTS
• Do not overcook the marshmallow as it may melt and fall of the fork onto the stainless steel
cover causing smoke or fire.
• If the marshmallow or any other food falls onto the stainless steel cover, turn the appliance
off and allow it to cool completely before cleaning.
• NEVER touch the stainless steel cover with your hands after the appliance has been turned
OFF. Always use oven gloves.
• Never let any food fall/drip onto the heating element as this may burn.
IMPORTANT WARNINGS

(Fixed Mains Plug Only)
The mains lead supplied with this product is fitted with a BSI 1363 plug. If it is not suitable for
your supply sockets, it must be placed with an appropriate plug. If the plug becomes damaged
and/or needs to be replaced please follow the wiring instructions below. The plug removed
must be disposed of immediately. It must not be plugged into a supply socket as this will be an
electrical hazard.
If the fuse needs to be replaced it must be of the same rating and ASTA approved to BS1362.
If the plug is changed, a fuse of the appropriate rating must be fitted in the plug, adaptor or at
the distribution board. If the fuse in a moulded plug is replaced, the fuse cover must be refitted
before the application can be used.
WIRING INSTRUCTIONS
The supply cable will be either 2-core or 3-cpre. Follow the appropriate wiring instructions
shown. In both cases that the outer sheath of the cable is held firmly in place by the cable
clamp.
