INSTRUÇÕES DE SEGURANÇA
•Não toque em superfícies quentes. Utilize apenas as alças.
•Para evitar riscos de choques elétricos, não mergulhe o cabo de alimentação em água ou outros
líquidos.
•Mantenha o aparelho fora do alcance das crianças.
•Desligue o cabo de alimentação antes de limpar o aparelho.
•Se você olhar qualquer falha no cabo de alimentação não utilizar o aparelho.
•Não utilize acessórios que não sejam recomendados pelo fabricante.
•O aparelho não foi projetado para uso ao ar livre.
•Não deixe que o cabo de alimentação fique pendurado na extremidade do balcão, ou toque em
superfícies quentes.
•Não coloque a sanduicheira perto de fontes de calor.
•Não se recomenda o uso de cabos de extensão para o aparelho. No entanto, se você precisa
usar um cabo de extensão, certifique-se que tem as mesmas características elétricas como o
aparelho.
•Não tente reparar o aparelho você mesmo. Encaminhar qualquer revisão, manutenção e reparos
ao serviço técnico qualificado.
INSTRUÇÕES DE OPERAÇÃO
A primeira vez que utilizar a sanduicheira é provável um ligeiro odor ou fumaça. Isso é normal e vai
desaparecer em breve. Antes de utilizar a sanduicheira pela primeira vez, limpar as placas com um
pano molhada e em seguida, secar.
1. Conecte o cabo de alimentação na tomada. A luz indicadora de cor vermelha se acenderá.
2. Coloque um pouco de óleo vegetal um líquido antiaderente e feche a sanduicheira para pré-
aquecer.
3. Depois de 3 a 5 minutos a luz indicadora fica verde, indicando que a sanduicheira está pronta
para que você coloque os sanduíches.
4. É possível aplicar a manteiga do lado de fora do pão. Coloque o recheio de sua escolha.
5. Coloque os sanduíches e feche a tampa. Cozinhe por 3 a 6 minutos. A luz indicadora de cor
verde vai ligar e desligar como o termostato mantém a temperatura de cozimento correta.
6. Retire o sanduíche com um utensílio de plástico (não metálico). Tenha cuidado, porque os
sanduíches e o aparelho estarão quentes.
7. Desligue o cabo de alimentação e deixe esfriar a sanduicheira antes de limpar e armazenar.
LIMPEZA E MANUTENÇÃO
Use uma toalha de papel para remover o excesso de óleo. Retire as migalhas das bordas e limpe com
água e sabão. Não insira a sanduicheira em água. Evite utensílios pontiagudos porque estes arranham
a superfície. Não use produtos de limpeza abrasivos sobre as placas de cozimento. Para limpar as
alças e o exterior, use um pano úmido macio com sabão e uma toalha para secar. Armazenar o
aparelho num local limpo e seco. O cabo de alimentação deve estar solto, não enrolado ao redor do
aparelho para impedir que quebre no interior.

IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
When using electrical appliances especially when children are present, basic safety precautions should
always be followed to reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, and/or injury to persons, including the
following:
1. READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS.
2. Do not touch hot surfaces. Metal parts can become hot. Use any handles or knobs.
3. To protect against electrical shock, do not place cord, plug or appliance in water or
other liquid.
4. Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is used by or near children.
5. Unplug from outlet when not in use and before cleaning. Allow to cool before cleaning and putting
on or taking off parts and before cleaning the appliance.
6. Do not operate any appliance with a damaged cord or plug, or after the appliance malfunctions or
has been damaged in any manner. Return appliance to the nearest authorized service facility for
examination, repair or adjustment.
7. The use of accessory attachments not recommended by the appliance manufacturer may cause
injuries.
8. Do not use outdoors.
9. Do not let cord hang over edge of table or counter or touch hot surfaces.
10. Do not place on or near a hot gas or electric burner, or in a heated oven.
11. To disconnect remove plug from wall outlet.
12. Do not use appliance for other than intended use.
13. Extreme caution must be used when moving an appliance containing hot oil or hot liquids.
SAVE THESE INSTRUCTIONS
This appliance is for HOUSEHOLD USE ONLY. It may be plugged into an AC electrical outlet (ordinary
household current). Do not use any other electrical outlet.
A short power-supply cord (or detachable power –supply cord) is provided to reduce the risk resulting
from becoming entangled in or tripping over a longer cord.
Longer detachable power-supply cords or extension cords are available and may be used if care is
exercised in their use.

If a long detachable power-supply cord or extension cord is used,
1. The marked electrical rating of the cord or extension cord should be at least as great as the
electrical rating of the appliance,
2. If the appliance is of the grounded type, the extension cord should be a grounding 3-wire cord,
and
3. The longer cord should be arranged so this it will not drape over the countertop or table top
where it can be pulled on by children or tripped over unintentionally.
LINE CORD SAFETY TIPS
1. Never pull or yank on cord or the appliance.
2. To insert plug, grasp it firmly and guide it into outlet.
3. To disconnect appliance, grasp plug and remove it from outlet.
4. Before each use, inspect the line cord for cuts and/or abrasion marks. If any are
found, this indicates that the appliance should be serviced and the line cord replaced.
Please take it to an appliance service facility.
5. Never wrap the cord tightly around the appliance, as this could place undue
stress on the cord where it enters the appliance and cause it to fray and break.
An extension cord is not recommended for use with this appliance.
DO NOT OPERATE APPLIANCE IF THE LINE CORD SHOWS ANY DAMAGE, OR IF
APPLIANCE WORKS INTERMITTENTLY OR STOPS WORKING ENTIRELY.
IMPORTANT
During the first few minutes of initial use, you may notice smoke and/or a slight odor. This is normal and
should quickly disappear. It will not recur after appliance has been used a few more times.
BEFORE INITIAL USE: After unpacking the sandwich maker, open the cover and wipe the top and
bottom cooking plates with a damp cloth and then towel dry.
HOW TO USE THIS SANDWICH MAKER
1. Insert plug firmly into wall outlet. The red POWER light will turn on.
2. Lightly glaze both cooking plates with a small amount of vegetable oil or a non-stick spray, and close
the top to allow the sandwich maker to heat up.
3. After 3-5 minutes, the green READY light will turn on, indicating that the sandwich maker has
warmed to the appropriate temperature for cooking.
4. Prepare sandwiches by buttering bread on the outer surfaces and placing desired ingredients within.
Lift handle latch and open the top of the sandwich maker. Place sandwiches on the cooking plates.
CAUTION: Cooking surface is hot: handle with care.
5. Close the lid to ensure that the sandwich is placed evenly and lock the handle latch. Normal
cooking time will be 3-6 minutes for each sandwich. The READY light will turn on and off, as the
thermostat keeps the sandwich maker at the proper cooking temperature.
6. Remove the sandwiches from the cooking plates with a plastic (non-metallic) utensil. BE CAREFUL
with the sandwiches; the fillings are HOT. Allow to cool for a few minutes before enjoying.
7. Unplug the power supply cord after cooking and allow the sandwich maker to cool before moving or
storing.

USER MAINTENANCE INSTRUCTIONS
This appliance requires little maintenance. It contains no user serviceable parts. Do not try to repair it
yourself. Refer it to qualified personnel if servicing is needed.
To Clean: Always unplug the appliance from the power source and wait until it cools down before
cleaning. There is no need to take the appliance apart for cleaning. Dry with a paper towel to absorb
excess oils. Brush crumbs from the grooves and wipe with a damp cloth and mild soap. Never immerse
in water. Avoid using sharp utensils, as they will scratch the surfaces. Do not use cleansers or oven
cleaners on the cooking plates. To clean the handles and exterior, use a damp cloth with mild soap and
towel dry.
To Store: Unplug the appliance and store in its box or in a clean, dry place. Store the cord loosely
coiled; never wrap the cord tightly around the unit. Do not put stress on the cord where it enters the
appliance, as it could cause the cord to fray and break.
