Symptoms include:
-Display is dark.
-LED’s do not light up.
No Power to the Display
Unplug the power cord
from the back of the
grinder and from the
wall.
Plug the cord into the
back of the grinder
rmly.
Plug the cord into the
wall.
If the display remains
dark, proceed to
the Electrical Check

Symptoms include:
-Display is on and
counts/displays
weight reading.
-No motor sound.
Display is On - Motor does not Engage
There are two safety
interlock switches that
must be engaged in
order for the motor to
run.
The rst is engaged by
the adjustment ring.
The second is engaged
by the hopper.

Rotate the hopper
clockwise and listen
carefully for the click of a
switch being engaged.
If you do not hear a
switch click, remove the
hopper and inspect for
broken legs.

If a leg is broken, insert
the hopper so that an
intact leg enters the slot
closest to the embossed
BARATZA and rotate
clockwise.
Rotate the adjustment
ring to the left past
setting 31.
Slowly rotate towards
setting 1 to the right,
and listen carefully.
When the adjustment
ring moves past setting
31, you should hear the
click of the safety switch
engaging.
This port must
have a good leg
